It has been a week since the incident happened.. Raghav has become normal again.. He has forgotten the pain of loosing with time due to the love of his wife.. Kalpi was happy that he become normal again.. She don't talk to vivaan that much unless for work related things as raghav didn't like him.. She knew she has to be the one who should compromise in order to save their relationship.. If not, it would have been difficult for them to continue this relation as husband and wife.. Moreover, she loves him so much that she could sacrifice anything because she knew it very well that he wont..

That day, kalpi came back early from hospital as there were not many cases in her department today.. She came home and cleaned the house.. Raghav was at his office busy with his business..When she was cleaning the house, she found an album.. It was of raghav's childhood album.. She took the album in her hands and went to sit down on the bed in her bedroom..

She looked through the album.. It contains raghav's pictures since he was a little baby.. A sweet smile plastered on her face seeing the photos..

K(self talk): " aww.. What a cute baby he was... So innocent and chubby... He looks more calmer when he was a kid unlike now.. Nowadays he is getting angry too much.."

She was tracing her fingers on her husband's childhood pictures fondly till her handphone rang.. She smiled seeing the caller id..

K: " hello.. Mom(gauri).. How are u? I miss u so much.. When r u coming here?", she asked in one breath..

G: " arrey, kalpi beta im fine and i miss u too.. Actually, it has been long since we talk nah.. Thats why i called... Acha.. Tell me how r u and my cinthu?"

K: " mom, im fine.. Ur cinthu is fine too.. Just last week he was a bit tensed and.."

G: " angry!! I knew it.. This boy wont change.. I will give him an earful when i come to meet u guys.."

K: " no mom.. Dont scold him.. It was not his fault.. He was just.. U know.. Its his nature..", she tried to defend her husband..

G: " haan.. How can i forgot that im talking to Mrs Raghav Singhania.. U never let down ur husband.."

K: " ok.. Mom.. Leave the topic.. When r u coming?"

G: " hmmm.. I would have been staying with u guys if u guys gave me a grandchild to play with..", she said with a hint of sadness..

K: " mom, woh.."

G: " no no no.. I dont wanna listen to anything.. I want a grandson or granddaughter this year itself.. And at least after becoming a father ur husband will learn to control his temper.."

Kalpi kept silent not knowing what to say..

G: " kalpi.. Listen to me beta.. Im getting old.. I want to see my grandchild before i..", before she could complete..

K: " mom!! (A short pause).. I.. I will talk to him.."

G: " i hope to get a good news soon.."

Gauri cut the call.. Kalpi hugged her phone near her chest.. She looked at raghav's baby photos and caressed them with a hope...

Raghav came back home happily.. He went towards him room to find his wife standing there in front of the wardrobe arranging the clothes... He went towards and hugged her from behind..Kalpi was startled by this sudden action..

R:" kalpi.. Honey.. Im so happy today..", he said with paradise dancing on his brown eyes..

Kalpi turned around to face him.. His arms were wrapped around her waist while her hands were placed on his chest..

K: " what happened that my handsome husband is too happy?", she asked smiling seeing him happy..

R: " u know what happened today honey? U still remember the warton deal i was working hard? Finally, after a lot of hard work, they had given a chance to our company to do presentation for their upcoming project.. We just have to impress them with our presentation.. Then, we will be having partnership with warton... Isnt that cool?", he said excitedly..

Kalpi hugged him tightly..

K: " oh my god.. Im so happy for u Raghav.. Im so proud of u.. I know u can do it.. So, when is the appointment?"

R: " the following month... U know kalpi.. I was waiting for this for years.. And finally, the dream gonna come true.. Im so happy.. Are u happy honey?"

K: " of course i am.. I am happy if u r happy..", she said kissing his forehead.

R: " hmm.. I called mom today.. She was a bit pissed off today.. She didnt talk to me much.. Did she call u?"

Kalpi looked at him as she remembered the conversation with gauri.. She just nodded in yes...

R: " what she said?", he asked her while she was removing the tie from his neck...

She was silent for few seconds and took of his tie while he was staring at her intently...

K: " she was just.. (She sighed).. She was saying the normal things she would ask every time she calls..", she said commonly while unbuttoning his blazer...

Raghav caught her hand stopping her.. She looked up at his face frowning.. He placed his hand on her cheek and caressed it affectionately..

R: " what's bothering u? What mom said?"

Kalpi tucked her hair behind her ears..

K: " raghav.. (After a long pause).. Mom wants us to have a child.. She want to see her grandchild.. She asked me talk to u about this..", she said and lowered her head..

Raghav used his index finger to tilt her face to look at him..

R: " so, what have u decided about that?"

K: " how can i decide without talking to u? I mean if u r not ready to..",she stopped saying further thinking he might not be ready to become a father..

R: " do u want to have a baby now?"

K: " if u dont want then, i.."

R: " i asked do u want to have a baby now?"

Kalpi looked at him and then here and there...

R: " answer me.."

She closed her eyes and slowly nodded in yes because as a woman she yearn to feel the feelings of being a mother.. When she see pregnant ladies in the hospital, she get the desire to feel it how does it feel to carry child in her womb.. The baby would be their symbol of love.. But she is always scared that if Raghav doesn't want to have a baby now..

Raghav cupped her face and kissed her lips.. He could see the questioning gaze of his wife..

R: " i think u should stop eating those pills after this..", he said smiling..

Kalpi looked at him surprised..

K: " raghav i thought u r not..", before she could complete her sentence,

R: " im ready honey.. Im ready to take the responsibility of a father.. And i think it is the right time to extend our family..", he said giving a pleasant smile..

Kalpi hugged him in happiness..

K: " i love u..", she whispered near her chest..

R: " i love you too..", he said kissing the top of her head..

At that night, both kalpi and raghav was very happy as it has been a wonderful day with good news.. They made love showering the love they carry for each other.. It was 1am.. But they were not asleep.. Their bare bodies were covered with the white blanket.. She was placed below him with his arm around her chest and his head on the crook of her neck.. Her fingers were stroking his hair affectionately...

K: " raghav.. R u sure that u r ready to become a father? I mean u r not agreeing for that just because i want a child right? If u r not ready then, i..", she still had the confusion in her head..

He kissed her chest...

R: " no.. I want a child too.. To be the symbol of our love.. And i will be a good father with the help of their beautiful mother...", he said starting to kiss her neck..

Kalpi smiled...

K: " i want a baby boy..", she said..

He looked up at her face...

R: " kyun? Dont u like a daughter?", he asked raising his eyebrows..

K: " not like that.. It is just that i want a son exactly like u..", she said caressing his cheek with her hand...

R: " u mean a mini version of raghav singhania?", he asked chuckling..

K: " yes.. A mini version of his dad.. Exactly a 100% carbon copy of u... Except.."

Raghav raised his eyebrows questioning her...

K: " except ur anger.. Our son shouldn't be an angry bird like u..", she said pouting..

R: " acha? Am i an angry bird for u? What if our son likes boxing like me? Wont u allow him to be a boxer?",he asked challenging her..

K: " of course i would let him be a boxer if he wants to be.. But he should know how to differentiate his professional life and personal life... He should take boxing as his passion not as his life.."

Raghav shook his head chuckling..

R: " hmmm.. I dont care if we get a son or daughter and i dont care if our child has my character or not.. All i need is he or she should have these beautiful eyes just like u... The most beautiful eyes that made me fall so hard in love..", he said kissing her eyes..

Kalpi gave a small smile... She blushed..

R: " but kalpi... Why dont we try this?"

K: " try what?"

R: " to get twins..", he said teasingly before biting his lower lip..

In their bedroom..

R: " honey are u ok?", he asked in concern..

Kalpi wiped her mouth with the small towel after vomiting..

K: " yeah.. Im fine.. I think i ate something that doesn't suit.."

R:" dont go to work today.. U rest at home..."

K: " raghav.. I cant take leave for such small things.. Im saying nah.. Im fine.. U go... Tomorrow u have the warton meeting right? So, go and do the preparations.."

Raghav nodded his head in yes... He hugged her and left the house taking his blazer in his hand..

Kalpi looked at him going.. She was lost in her thoughts... She placed her palm on her stomach..

K(self talk): " am i? Could it be? I think i should test..", she sighed and got ready to go to the hospital..

At the hospital...

Soumya saw kalpi walking kinda lost in her own thoughts..

Sou: " kalpi.. Where are u going? Towards the O&G department? For this month our job is at accident & emergency department.."

K: " woh.. I.. I have to..", she look here n there not knowing what to do..

Someone came there and called dr soumya to come urgently because of emergency.. Kalpi sighed in relief seeing her leave.. She went to the O&G department for pregnancy test..

The reports will be coming tomorrow so kalpi resumed her work..

Evening came..

Kalpi waited for raghav at the hospital as he said he himself will pick up her because she was not feeling well in the morning.. Kalpi was standing there while talking to her mother, pooja malhotra in phone..

K: " maa.. Wait wait.. Im not sure.. I just undergo the test... I have to wait for the reports tomorrow.."

P: " kalpi, u r a doctor.. Dont u know whether u r pregnant or not?"

Kalpi chuckled..

K: " maa, im a doctor.. Not god.. I told u nah.. I will know it for sure tomorrow... And i will call u immediately after getting the results..ok?"

P: " ok.. When r u coming to meet us? We are just 20 minutes far from u.. But seems like u forgot ur family after getting married.. Ur papa, bhai, babhi and little amit (kalpi's bhai's four year old son) miss u a lot.."

K: " maa... So u dont miss me?"

P: " maa miss my baby a lot more.."

K: " acha.. tk.. I will come and meet u this week itself... If can i bring ur damad with me.."

P: " kalpi, is raghav still treating u well?", she asked in a motherly fear as their family knows about his obsession for boxing and his anger..

Kalpi looked down..

K:" maa, he loves me a lot.. And trust me im very happy with him.. I dont know why all of u are worried.. Gauri mom also always worried about the same thing.. I know he is a bit short tempered but he is pure at heart.."

P: " of course we will be worried.. We care about our daughter.."

K: " ok.. Maa.. Bye.. Tell papa, bhai, babhi and little amit, i asked about them.. I love u..", and she cut the call..

" hey..", someone called her.. She turned behind to find vivaan.. Her smile flattered as raghav doesnt like her speaking to vivaan.. She really feels bad as vivaan is actually a gentleman with a heart of gold.. But for her husband satisfaction she has to do that.. She can do anything for him as she doesnt wanna loose him..

K: " hi vivaan..", she said little nervously..

V: " hmm.. I think u r trying to avoid me nowadays.."

K: " aise kuch..", before she could continue,

V: " its ok.. I understand.. Actually, i came here to talk to u about a surgery tomorrow.."

Kalpi looked concerned and both of them talking about the surgery...

Suddenly they heard honking of horns.. The person was continuously honking the horns in frustration.. It was raghav.. He was pissed off when he saw kalpi talking with vivaan.. Kalpi looked at vivaan with an apologetic look.. Vivaan blinked his eyes indicating its ok.. Kalpi rushed towards the car as he was kept honking.. Vivaan sighed and went inside the hospital..

In the car... Fifteen minutes passed in silence.. Kalpi steal looks at him.. His face was stern making it clear to her that he is angry..

K: " raghav,"she called out softly..

R: " im driving..We can talk at home.", he asked sternly with his eyes still on the road..

Kalpi Looked away from him.. She was looking at the stars through the window... She was already worried about her pregnancy report and now her husband who is angry..

They reached home... He went inside the room straight leaving behind an exhausted kalpi.. She took her bag and followed him inside... When she entered, she saw him sitting on the bed and working on the laptop.. She put her bag on the chair and took her night wear from the wardrobe before making way to the bathroom.. After half an hour, she came out and looked at him.. He was busy typing something on his laptop.. She doesnt want to disturb him.. Moreover, she was so tired and exhausted.. She went to her side of the bed and lied there.. Her back was facing him... He looked at her and went to switch of the room light for her.. And then, he went towards the table and worked on his laptop with the light of table lamp.. Kalpi looked at him and a small smile formed on her face..

K(in mind): " i know u r upset with me raghav.. But still u cant hide the fact that u care for me.."

In the morning...

Kalpi woke up late as she felt so tired.. She didnt have duty today... She fluttered her eyes before opening them fully.. When she opened her eyes, she found raghav coming out of the bathroom with towel around his waist and his hand drying his hair with towel.. Kalpi looked at him and smiled looking at his well built body.. She woke up while tying her hair in a bun..

K: " raghav why u didnt wake me up?"

R: " thought not to disturb u..", he said in said in stern tone..

Kalpi went to the bathroom to get ready.. When she came out he was already in his royal blue suit.. He was trying to tie his tie around his neck but failed miserably...

(The great Raghav Singhania doesnt know how to tie a tie..lol)

K(in mind): " hmm.. He doesn't know how to tie it.. I always help him to tie nah... He and his ego..", she thought and shook her head..

K: " raghav... Let me do it...", she asked showing her palm..

R:" i can do it by myself..", he said..

Kalpi rolled her eyes..

K: " yeah.. I can see it..", she said mockingly..

She took the tie from his hand and tied it around his neck.. Their faces came close.. They can feel each other's heart beat..

K: " im sorry..", she said softly while her eyes were on the tie..

R: " for what?", he asked like he doesnt know anything..

K: " u very well know for what im saying sorry..", she said looking up at him..

Raghav reverted his face to the side.. Kalpi turned his face towards her again..

K: " raghav.. Vivaan was just discussing about the surgery.."

Raghav's expression soften..

K: " i love u so much raghav.. I dont know how much u love me and how much im important to u..", she said..

R: " honey..", he said placing his hand on her cheek..

Kalpi touched his hand in her cheek..

K: " but.. I love u so much raghav.. Nothing is more important than u in my life.. U r the most important person in my life.. U r more important than my soul to me..."

Raghav kissed her on her lips passionately...

R: " im sorry... Im sorry.. I hate myself for hurting u every time.. Its just that i cant control my anger...", he said placing his forehead on hers...

K: " i know.. I dont wanna loose u raghav..", she said placing a soft kiss on his lips..

K: " acha.. Leave it.. It's getting late.. Today u have meeting with warton company right? And im sure my husband will rock it.. All the best..", she said cheerfully...

R: " thanks... I will come home right after the warton meeting..."

And he left after kissing her forehead...

After two hours...

Kalpi went to the hospital to collect the pregnancy report... She didnt open it at the hospital.. She came home and sat on her bed.. She slowly opened the report and she was left speechless in happiness.. Tears of happiness flow through her eyes.. She slowly placed her hand on her womb... She was a month pregnant..

She smiled in tears..

K(self talk): " im pregnant... Haha.. Im going to be a mother.. Oh my god.. Thanks for giving me this happiness bappa..."

She picked her phone thinking to tell about this to raghav.. But she put it back..

K(self talk): " no.. Lets give him a surprise.. Im sure he wrapped the warton deal.. So, lets give him a surprise..", and she bite her lower lip to hide her smile..

So, she decided to visit her family... Kalpi went to her parents home and shared the happy news with them... They were all so happy... She spent her time there with her mother and babhi advising her on what to do during pregnancy..

K: " maa, babhi.. I am a doctor myself.. U two are giving me lectures since morning on what to do and not to..", she said chuckling...

Shreya, her babhi and her mother laughed..

Sh: " we are overwhelmed as u give us such a big happy news kalpi.."

Pooja and shreya left the room to prepare food.. Kalpi took her phone and called raghav.. But the call went to voicemail... So, she sent him a voicemail..

K: " raghav.. Have u reached home? I know u would have won the warton deal.. And.. And i have a surprise for u in our bedroom.. On the study table.. Hope u love the surprise.. I love you.."

She placed the pregnancy report on the table so that he can see that..

She hugged the phone near her chest thinking on how he will react..

Raghav was in his cabin and three ppl were there in front of him bowing their heads... They were his PA, the supervising manager and assistant supervising manager..

R: " WHAT DO U MEAN BY U LOST THE PRESENTATION DAMN IT!!!", he shouted raising up from his chair..

SM: " sir, i just placed the pen drive inside my drawer and locked it.. I dont know where it went.."

R: " i bloody worked four years.. Full four years for this deal damn it.. And u r standing in front of me saying that u simply lost it.. And u!! ,"He pointed at the lady assistant supervisor..

R: " dont u have the simple knowledge that u should have a copy of the presentation in case of emergency?"

AS: " im sorry sir..", she said apologetically..

Raghav ran his hand through his hair..

R: " ur sorries mean nothing to be u useless ppl... I didnt loose my deal.. I lost my dream... I lost my dream that i tried hard realising for years... All because of such dumb heads i have in my office.. U know what?", he said gritting his teeth...

R: " BOTH OF U ARE FIRED.. DONT SHOW ME UR FACES...", and he ignored their pleas and asked his pa to give them the termination letter..

After everyone left the cabin, he sat on his chair with his head leaned on the chair.. He closed his eyes.. The words of the management ppl of warton echoed in his mind...

" mr Singhania we never expected that u r this irresponsible..", " how can we have partnership with a company who doesnt even know how to protect a mere presentation..", " the deal is off.."

Raghav threw the things on his table in anger... He slammed his hand on the table making it bleed.. The blood dampen the sleeves of his shirt..

Raghav reached home and switched on his phone.. He frowned as he received a voicemail from kalpi.. He listened to that.. He was in a very bad mood... He went towards the study table not much interested... He found a file there... He hold it in his hand.. Before he could open the file, his phone rang..

R: " hello, raghav singhania here.."

C: " mr singhania, we called to inform u that u r not shortlisted for the upcoming state boxing championship..", raghav cut the call in frustration...

He threw the file he was holding on the floor...

On the other side..

K: " damn it!!," she cursed kicking the car tyre..

Her car tyre was punctured and she was standing on the road with no sign of ppl around.. She took her phone and for her irritation the battery was dead.. She was tapping the phone her palm looking at the road in a hope of a car arriving..

K(self talk): " it's getting late.. Raghav would have read the report.. God, why are u testing me like this? Pls help me...", she prayed looking at the sky..

" what happened?", a voice came..

Kalpi got startled with the sudden voice and turned around abruptly to find vivaan standing there with a concerned look..

K: " vivaan.. You..", she sighed in relief..

K: " actually, my car tyre is punctured.. My phone battery is dead.. And im standing here because of that.."

V: " its ok.. Come i will drop u..", but kalpi stood there whether to go or not..

V: " kalpi, its late.. Its not safe to stand here alone.. Especially in this condition.."

Kalpi looked at him frowning..

K: " condition?"

V: " haan.. Actually i saw the pregnancy report accidentally..."

K: " oh.. Ok.."

V: " so shall we make a move?", he asked..

She went and hugged him from behind...

K: " raghav im so happy today...", she said hugging him happily while he didnt say anything..

She turned him around to face him..

K: " did u liked the surprise my love?", she asked with bright eyes..

But he stood there with a blank face..

K: " ragahv.. Tell me nah.. U liked the surprise or not?", she asked shaking his hands...

She was continuously asking him whether he like the surprise or not... Raghav got irritated and he released his hands from her grip roughly and he shouted...

R: " TO HELL WITH UR SURPRISE!!", he all but shouted at her..

His voice echoed in the walls of their bedroom.. Kalpi jumped slightly in fear and smile on her face faltered.. She saw the file on the floor...

K: " ra.. Raghav.. U..", she said while tears started forming on her eyes..

She neared him and caressed his cheek while his eyes were red due to anger..

K: " rag.. Raghav.. U r not happy about it?"

Raghav grabbed the back of her neck tightly and pulled her face near to his.. Kalpi was scared seeing the rage in his eyes..

R: " I TOLD U RIGHT!!! TO HELL WITH UR SURPRISE.. ", kalpi closed her eyes and cried as he hurt her physically and mentally.. His grip was so tight..

She struggled to remove his hand from the back of her neck.. He jerked her away from him...

Kalpi looked at him in shock.. She saw the blood on his sleeves.. She frowned and realised he has hurt his hand.. She rushed towards him and hold his hand in his..

K: " ragahv.. U r hurt.. How.. How did this happen? Oh my god.. A lot of blood..", she cried..

(Even when he is angry and hurt her, still she cant see him hurt.. Thats how much she loves him..)

R: " what if im hurt? Tumhe kya farak padtha hai?", he asked coldly before snatching his hand away from her..

Kalpi looked at him unbelievably..

K: " what did u say? It doesnt matter to me if u r hurt? Of course it matters to me.. If u didnt like that.."

R: " haan.. I didnt like.. In fact i hate.. I HATE U!! And about ur surprise, why dont u give it to UR VIVAAN... After all, u two seems to be very close.. I lost my business deal.. I lost my boxing.. And u keep talking about ur surprise!", he talked all rubbish things in anger without realising that he is hurting her...

K: " what did u said? MY vivaan? Did u said that?", she asked holding his collar..

Raghav looked away in anger..

K: " is this what i get for loving u? Is this what i get for loving u?", she asked with pure pain visible in her eyes..

K: " what is my mistake raghav? I went against my family for u... I gave u the importance no matter what comes... I sacrificed a lot of the things i loved just to make u happy..

I compromised a lot to save our relationship.. And this is what i had to hear from u raghav? I know im not the most important for u.. But i do expect to get a little love from u raghav... But this is what i get from my husband? That he hates me..", she asked shaking him holding his collar...

R: " i didnt ask u to.. I didnt ask u to sacrifce or compromise.. And u know what are my mistakes? The first mistake i made was falling for u... The second mistake is marrying u.. In fact marrying u made me loose my concentration on boxing.. This commitment.. This relationship.. This made me weak.. This made me fail.. This made me a loser.. So, just leave me alone!!", he yelled and pushed her away from him roughly and left the room...

Kalpi's stomach hit the table corner hardly and she fell down winching in pain.. She cried holding her stomach.. Her screaming just heard by the walls as raghav already left the house in his car...

Kalpi crawled slowly to reach her phone that was on the floor.. She pursed her lips together as the pain she felt was terrible... She dialled her brother's number... When it got connected,

K: " bha.. Bhai.. I.. Aaahhh...", divyan panicked hearing his sister's voice..

Di: " kalpi!! Kalpi!! What happened?", but all he could hear was her screaming..

He rushed outside not answering her parents and wife's question...

When he reached the room, he saw his sister lying in the midst of pool of blood... She was shivering and lying in pain.. He rushed towards her and kneeled down near her..

Di: " kalpi!! Kalpi!! What happened?", he asked tapping her cheek..

She started loosing her consciousness as she lost a lots of blood.. Divyan without wasting a second carried her in his arms and drove to the hospital... The doctors treated her.. Divyan informed his family to come to the hospital.. He even tried calling raghav but his phone was switched off...

An: " div, what happened to my daughter?", anirudh asked anxiously while pooja n shreya stood there with a anxious face as well..

Di: " papa, i dont..", before he could complete his sentence, the doctor came out of the room..

They rushed towards the doctor..

An:" doctor, how is my daughter?"

Doc: " your daughter is fine and out of danger... She is unconscious as she lost a lot of blood.. But.."

P: " but what doctor?"

Doc: " im sorry.. We couldnt save her child.. She had miscarriage.."

Pooja dropped herself on the chair and covered her mouth with her palm hearing that.. Shreya went to console her...

Anirudh and divyan had tears in their eyes as well..

P: " shreya, just this morning she was very happy that she is going to be a mother.. Now..", she cried hugging her husband who came to sit beside her..

Kalpi hugged her mother and cried.. She told everything that happened..

Two days passed since the incident.. Kalpi was discharged from the hospital.. Her family brought her to their house.. In those two days, ragahv never came to know about her whereabouts..

In the room, shreya fixed the blanket on kalpi.. Pooja went to make soup for her whereas anirudh and divyan were standing there... Kalpi was lost in her thoughts.. Shreya sat beside her and caressed her head fondly.. Kalpi looked at her..

Sh: " everything will be fine kalpi.."

Kalpi cried bitterly hearing that...

Shreya hugged her to calm her and she threw an angry glare towards divyan..

P: " div, she is already hurt and u r hurting her with ur words.."

Di: " then, what u want me to do maa? Do u think im not hurt seeing my only sister suffering like this?", he had tears in his eyes..

K: " im sorry.. Im sorry bhaiya.. I was wrong.. I was completely wrong.. I didnt listen when u all opposed it.. I was so blinded by the love.. Im sorry..", she sobbed..

Divyan rushed towards her and hugged her... His heart ached to see his sister in such condition..

Di: " ssshhh.. Its ok.. Dont cry.. U dont worry.. Ur bhaiya will always here with u... We all are here for u... And i wont spare that jerk.. I will..", she raised her head from his chest..

K: " bhaiya pls dont..", she pleaded..

Divyan clenched his jaws but decided to keep mum as he doent wanna hurt her further.. They were there with her till she fell asleep...
