I dont know how often i can update when i start my studies.. So, im using my free time to update as much as possible... Now proceed reading the update.. Oops.. Updates... Lol..
PART 7
Kalpi was asking a little girl to stretch her arm to check whether her hand is still paining or not.. Raghav was looking at her with a pleasant smile while sitting on the wooden bench with sammy...
S: " so, as we can stay here for few more days, what is ur plan?"
(The climate become worse.. So, the boats are not available till the water levels becomes normal..this gave an opportunity for sammy and raghav to stay there for longer..)
R: " i dont know.. Let me go and talk to her..", and he left to talk to her..
Raghav came near her but she behaved like he doesnt exist..
R: " how long u gonna ignore me kalpi?", but no response..
K: " diya, dont open the plaster till i say..ok?", she asked smiling kindly towards the little girl..
D: " ok kalpi di..", kalpi kissed the girl on her cheek and left the place to attend another patient..
Raghav followed her like a puppy..
On the other side..
Pa: " hey gadha.. Where is raghav?", she asked sammy who was busy with his phone..
Sammy rolled his eyes..
S: " chudail are u blind? Look there.. He is running behind kalpi..", saying so he busy with his phone again..
Pakhi went behind him and sneakily looked at what he is doing in the phone.. She saw he was reading the comments he got for his photo he posted in the fb..Pakhi laughed loud.. Sammy turn to face her and gave her a deadly glare..
S: " what's so funny chudail?"
Pa: " the girl commented that u look handsome in this picture... I mean she must be blind or she needs a dictionary to know the true meaning of handsome..", and she laughed again..
S: " its not her but u who needs a dictionary.. Oh come on.. Look here.. How many girls comment saying i am so handsome.. U dont know how many girlfriends i have..", he said smirking..
Pakhi didnt know why but she felt a little jealous when he said he has lots of girlfriends.. She brushed the thoughts away immediately..
Pa: " like i will believe.. I dont have time to listen to ur bakwaas.. Im going..", saying so she left..
S(self talk): " why do i feel that she is jealous? Arghh.. Sammy, beta.. Concentrate on ur work.. U have itni sari admirers..so chalo reply their comments.."
However, raghav was busy behind kalpi asking her to give a chance.. But she was too adamant.. All the other looked at them that raghav felt so embarrassed but he has to do it to get her back..
Three days passes like this..
Night on the fourth day..
Sammy, pakhi and raghav were talking in the canopy... Suddenly, prem came there.. The trio looked at him frowning as his expression showed that he is damn pissed..
Pa: " prem, what happened? Why u look tensed?"
Prem went near raghav and grabbed his collar...
S: " hey, what are u doing? Leave my friend..", saying so he tried to make prem release raghav's collar..
Pa: " prem stop it yaar.. What are u doing?"
Pr: " pakhi u dont know.. I was observing him from the past three days.. He was misbehaving with kalpi...", saying so he punched raghav..
Pakhi covered her mouth in shock when prem punched raghav..
Pa: " prem it is nothing like u think..."
But prem didnt listen..
Pr: " ask him to stay away from kalpi..", he left his collar and turned to go..
R: " i wont.. I wont stay away from her.. What u can do?", he said challenging prem..
Prem returned and fought with raghav.. Sammy was about to beat prem, but raghav asked him not to interfere.. Prem gave repeated punches on ragahv's face causing raghav's nose to bleed.. But raghav didnt fight him back.. He was actually controlling his anger as he knows his anger is his biggest enemy..and if he fight with prem, surely it will make it difficult for him to win back his wife..
Pakhi ran out of the camp and went to meet kalpi..
Pa: " kalpi!! Kalpi!!", she came there panting..
Kalpi stood up and hold pakhi's hand..
K: " what happened pakhi? Any emergency?"
Pa: " a very big emergency... Prem is hitting raghav.."
Kalpi snapped her head towards pakhi..
K: " what?"
Pa: " haan.. Prem thinks raghav is misbehaving with u.. He doesnt know that he is here to get u back in his life and that he loves u..", she said in one breath..
K: " wait what did u say? He is here to.. U knew it all? U r with him too? U r helping him? After knowing everything u r helping him?", she asked with accusing eyes..
Pakhi got that she blurt out everything..
Pa: " kalpi, raghav is.. Ok.. Just leave that for some other time..now come and stop prem..", saying so she dragged kalpi by her hand..
Kalpi shrugged her hand off hers..
K: " i know this is ur plan pakhi.. And for ur kind information, i dont wanna talk to that man.. U want me to believe that prem is hitting him and he is silently getting all the blows? I knew him very well.. I would have believed it if that man is hitting prem..", saying so she went and sat on the chair..
Pakhi sighed and kneeled down in front of her..
Pa: " kalpi believe me.. Raghav is not the same raghav anymore.. U know what? He even quit boxing for u.."
Kalpi looked at her shocked..
K: " stop lying pakhi..", she said frustrated..
Pa: "ok.. It's completely okay if u don't believe me kalpi.. But, pls come and stop prem.. For me pls.."
Kalpi half-heartedly followed pakhi to the camp.. When she reached there she saw prem hitting raghav.. And raghav was silently getting the blows.. He was not hitting him back.. Sammy was trying to get prem away but all goes in vein.. She could see blood oozing in the corner of raghav's lips and his nose..
Seeing blood, kalpi panicked.. (Of course.. She loves him and cant see him in pain).. She went inside the camp..
K: " prem, what are u doing? Stop it.."
Pr: " no kalpi.. U dont know.. I saw everything.. he was disturbing u since the first day he came here.. I will teach him a lesson now.."
Raghav was looking at her only.. He could see the her heart aching seeing him getting beaten..
K: " prem pls stop it.. Listen to me.."
But prem was not listening to her... Tears were flowing from kalpi's eyes.. Pakhi and sammy understood that she still loves raghav..
Kalpi pulled prem's hand away from raghav and she shouted..
K: " HE IS MY HUSBAND PREM!! MY HUSBAND!!", she shouted..
Prem stopped as the words echoed around him.. He looked at her and then at raghav...
Pr: " kalpi...", raghav smiled...
K: " prem, pls go away from here.. Pls..", she begged him folding her hands..
Prem bowed his head and left the place..
S: " dude r u ok?", he asked helping him to get up..
Raghav went near kalpi..
R: " im fine.. In fact better after listening to my wife calling me as her husband..", he said looking at her lovingly..
For the first time since he arrived, she looked straight at his eyes... She got that she mentioned him as her husband... He raised his hand to touch her cheek but she took a step back...
K: " pakhi, i just want prem to stop.. Thats why i said so.. There's nothing else..", saying so she started walking away but stopped hearing his words..
R: " then, u should have said im ur Ex-husband.. In fact thats the truth nah.. We are divorced... So, its rightful to say im ur ex-husband... But u said that im ur husband.. U know why? Because u still love me.."
Kalpi closed her eyes hearing that.. She very well knew every word he said is true... Without uttering a single word, she left the place..Pakhi followed her..
S: " dude, what happened to u yaar? I know u quit boxing but that doesnt mean u keep quiet while that prem is hitting u.. In one punch u could have knocked out him.."
R: " if i have done like that, she would be angry on me for hitting her friend.. And moreover, she called me her husband.. So, im happy..", he said smiling..
S: " i heard that love can make a weak man strong and a strong man weak.. I didnt believe it then.. But i believe it now seeing u...", he said chuckling..
Raghav laughed while wiping his blood..
R: " u will understand that when u fall in love my friend.."
S: " love.. And me? Thats impossible.."
R: " why not? Why dont u try with pakhi?", he asked mischievously..
S: " that chudail..."
R: " ok ok.. I understand..."
On the other side..
Pa: " kalpi im sorry..", she said softly to kalpi who was crying..
K: " its ok..", she said wiping the tears from her cheeks..
After a short silence..
Pa: " kalpi, i..."
K: " no pakhi..pls..no..", she cut short her words..
Pa: " i want u to be happy...", she tried explaining..
K: " but i only want some peace.. Thats enough for me..."
Pa: " kalpi, raghav has changed... He want to start a fresh relationship with u.. Why dont u give him a chance.. And i know u love him, then whats wrong in giving a second chance in love?"
K: " yeah.. I still love raghav.. I love my raghav.. But u know what my raghav died long ago.. My raghav will never hurt me... The person now is not my raghav..."
Pakhi closed her eyes not knowing how to convince her... Kalpi continued..
K: " u know how happy we were? Life full of love.. But all the dreams, love, expectations, eveything.. Everything come to an end... U know why? Because of his anger... Because of his madness about boxing.. Because of his mentality that cant accept failure..."
She remembered the days...
