"Save me...please" a mournful sound echoed in the air of desert, raghav get up panicky from the his sleeping bag and glanced over the long way...but he found no one expect a remains of a old but small place. Sammy and Maya also came out from their camp frightened, when
"Help..." The same sound again echoed,
"Raghav... Don't think to go" Sammy about to speak,
"Please somebody help me..." Without thinking once raghav ran toward the voice, while Sammy and Maya also ran behind him.
Raghav reach near the remain when he saw a middle aged struggling for rescue with roping his hand and mouth terribly for his life. Raghav glance over him but left him there and ran inside.
"Leave me you scoundrel...help...please somebody help me..." She shouted winningly with all her efforts and tried to push that masked jerk from her, but her all efforts gone waste as he was very much stronger than her, her flew tears pleaded him for mercy, but that fool laughed on her weakness.
"No. ..please " she cried, when Raghav reach near them, and pulled him harshly from her, he punched hardly on his face make the that jerky man fell on the ground.
Sammy and Maya rescued the middle aged man, when two other men who covered their faces with a black cloth attacked on them. Sammy start beating them black and blue.
Raghav looked at her when his dark brown eyes meet with her black dove shaped eyes...which saw at him with pure respect...he felt they magnetic... Which pulled him toward them. When she covered her front by her hand which reveled her skin from her tore choli skittishly. Raghav turned his neck guiltily with taking of his T-shirt from his head and throw toward her.
When the masked man again attacked on him with dagger in his hand, Raghav hit his feet hardly on his chest made him wince loudly. And he ran from their taking his life in his hand.
Maya came there and tried her to cover by her chunary but she already covered by Raghav's protection.
masked man came outside panting and ran from their fastly, and behind him his man also breaking out. Sammy and the middle aged man run inside.
"Lado..." He called her worriedly. She ran toward her father and hugged him tightly. Her father pacified her lovingly caring her back. "No...my dear, don't cry, then gone...you are safe now..." Maya Sammy and Raghav stared them with belongingness, when he turned toward them.
" thank you so much hukum...you saved my daughter...I never able to return your obligation. Thank you so much" the man thanked Raghav folding his hands.
" please... Whatever we did it's our responsibility... That's it" Raghav stopped him, when his eyes felled on her, she thanked blinking her eyes smugly , Raghav too responded her by blinking his eyes.
"What are you doing here in this desart alone..? Its harmful" Sammy returned with concern, and Raghav came back in his sence.
"My name is vitthal...and this is my daughter kalpi. We went to the city for selling our hand works... And in returning... Its already darkened, so I decided to take shelter here but don't know from where this men came, they bind me...and tried to... My kalpi... But thanks to you, you reached here on time" vitthal ended with tears. Kalpi hold her father concerndly and hugged hm from back. Raghav's heart skipped a bit seen the tears in her eyes.
"Forget that all, we are safe that's enough for us...come with us, we will drop you your village at morning" Raghav replied with intimacy. And they all turned to their camp, Maya hold kalpi lovingly which make a special bond between them.
And Raghav...his gaze only stucked in her face... As he saw many beautiful eyes before but her eyes are different from all them...which bind him with them...as the way of desert just started and he already feel connected with this desert.
This was running in my mind from few days and thought to share with you all.
