Thanks 😊 And Kalpana's parents arranged the marriage with Raghav. Here, messages or letters are delivered to the different realms using ravens. Depending on the importance of the messages, messengers ( men on horseback) will deliver the letters personally to where ever it has to go. So essentially, since it was arranged marriage, there would have been some exchange of letters between Kalpana's parents and Raghav about joining their houses in marriage and Raghav and they would have come to an agreement ( as was highlighted in the first chapter that marriages are a way of joining the houses and making the armies stronger. The armies becomes stronger because now that Raghav has married Kalpana, Vithal's army would join Raghav's army should it have a war or something.) Usually there would have been a period of courting that is, the two people would have meet occasionally for some months to get to know each other. But like Vithal indicated in the first chapter, Raghav wanted the ceremony to be quick since he wanted to return to the North as soon as possible.
So that is all to it. It was simply an arranged marriage. Hope that clears things up. 😊
