This one I had written long time back and unfortunately not during exams (so mariee yeh accha hone ke koi chances nahi hai😆) ... Plus no proof reading ...Read at your own risk .. And please don't expect any logic..

And yet another saturday night Raghav Singhaania was busy looking out of the window... his sea facing penthouse giving him a perfect view of the beautiful sea flooded in moonlight..
It had been years since he developed this habit ...
Every weekend looking at the sea at night lost.. or rather trying hard to d something.. something that he had lost.. and what better place than the beach which was the witness to their first encounter..
Accompanied by some of his British friends Raghav was busy enjoying the roaring music of the speakers along with the can of beer in his hand.. Parties were never a thing which Raghav Singhaania ,the heir to one of the business empires of london, was interested in but that day was the last day of vacation before he took over his late father's now-falling business..
Currently his life was a big heap of mess which was just piling up with more crap.. His life after his father's death was more of others than his own.. everyone telking him what to do and what not to do and now after he accepted it he knew that his future would be nothing other than being around businessmen and attending meetings..
So for just once he wanted to behave how other boys of his age did.. Get drunk, Party hard and just enjoy life!! And this probably turned out to be the best decision he ever made.. coz that decision led to their first meet..
Being the non-alchoholic that he was the few shots of tequila quickly showed its effect and the next thing he remembered was waking up in some girl's apartment...
"Girl.. well just from outside..", Raghav chuckled thinking about that day..
With a throbbing pain in his forehead Raghav got up from the bed after pushing away the white fluffy bed sheets... "Arrgghh..", he grunted pressing his forehead..
"I see you got drunk for the first time..", the girl dressed in a loose Manchester jersey and blue shorts with her hair tied in loose bun said.. "Chill its normal.. ", she said smilingly and went to the drawer of the side table beside the bed and took out some tablets..
Removing them from the packets she handed them over to Raghav.. "Have this you'll feel better..", she said handing the glass of water and walked over to the door she stumbled before turning around to look at Raghav she said," Oh by the way.. I'm K.. I mean kalpana .. but I like K.. Its sounds less girly..", she said making a weird face.. "And no need to give your intro.. Your Raghav right.. the big guy making headlines..", she winked at him and after telling him to freshen up left a baffled Raghav behind who kept wondering.. What is she?? .. while he sat in the overly silent room..
The silence before a storm.. And this storm really hit Raghav's disheaveled life real hard so hard that all the unclearable mess was cleared up.. His once miseravle life now became worth living..
He looked at the only pic of hers he had.. the two with their usual weird expressions ..
And then she left.. without informing, just like that... leaving Raghav with just one question- Forget best friend... Did she even consider him her friend??
Their quick encounter turned into a friendship when she was hired by his company and the two started working together.. Remembering those days was a sheer bliss yet a throbbing pain for him..Bliss because he counted those moments as one of the happiest of his life and pain because they would never be repeated ever again..
His ringing phone brought him out of his past memories.. "No, I'm not coming today and anyway Sammy would be there to handle it..", instructing so he immediately placed his phone back on the coffee table before sipping the contents from the glass in his hand..
The boring Raghav's life became lively with her being a part of it.. though he cpuld never open up to others as much as he could to her he should had learnt to live with the world rather than away from the world as he had been doing for like eternity..
With each other they did the most weirdest and most choldish stuff..
"Trust me Singhaania it would be hell lotta fun..", Kalpi literally yelled at the top of her voice and giggled childishly looking at the petrified Raghav.. nope.. Petrified Singhaania.. from the day they met she never called him Raghav and would prefer Singhaania.. "Fun.. Ya right.. Ms.Jadhav I know many better ideas of fun..", and before Raghav could turn and leave he felt a push and after enjoying the breeze on his face accompanied by his Ms.Jadhav's scream he felt the water hit his body as they jumped of into the lake..
A smile crept on his face on remembering those days.. the days when he used to be happy.. and again his phone rang..
Another call from office ... he sighed.. "But where is he??... What do you mean by you don't know Maya??.. Ok fine I'll reach office in half an hour..".. And immediately Raghav made his way to his room to freshen up..

And with the end of the presentation the room was surrounded with claps with all except one person applauding at the efforts put into making such an impressive presentation.. "Raghav..", Maya shook him out of his thoughts.. A sudden uneasiness had engulfed him...
"Kalpana focus.. We need to get something done in order to present or we're definately not getting this deal.", Raghav said seriously and they both got theor heads into the presentation.. with the original one lost they were now to put up a new one and inlike the previous one this one had all of Raghav's idea and Kalpi's presentation skills..
"Yippee.. we did it Singhaania...!!!", Kalpi squealed in joy before hugging him while in the safe confines of his cabin a gesture she did which would have his heart summersaulting..
"Ms.Jadhav..", the only words that escaped his mouth as the dimmed lights slowly brightened to reveal the face of the girl dressed in a professional black suit with her hair tied into a pony-tail..
Slowly greeting each occupant of the room they both were finally in front of each other.. "Raghav this is Ms.Kalpana Jadhav C.E.O of Jadhav Constructions and Ms.Kalpana tjis is Raghav Singhaania CEO of Singhaania Group of companies", Maya introduced them but every word of hers perhaps went unheard as neither of them changed theor expression nor said anything..
Raghav was still gaping slightly as he couldn't believe what his eyes saw while Kalpana too beared the same expression..

With the final formalities done the deal was sealed and everyone left.. Except them..
As the final occupants left the room the two friends stood still looking at each other.. before going into each others embrace.. Having felt the old warmth for few minutes they were back to the real world..
"Three years..".."And six months..", Kalpana completed his sentence.. both were overwhelmed with emotions not letting either of them to say anything more.. Raghav was the first one to break the silence.. "Quirky and colourful presentation .. has to be Ms.Jadhav..", Kalpi smiled on his words.. Their convo was cut in by the office peon who came inside to ask Raghav whether to close the cabins or no.. "My place??", Raghav asked and Kalpi just nodded..
The drive was quite silent one.. yes they were old friends who could blabber on ny random topic but the way they had parted was forming a thick air of formality replacing the one of familiariaty..

Kalpi was looking around the house while Raghav prepared coffee for both..
"So Singhaania-ish", Kalpi thought standing in the balcony facing the sea.. "Coffee", Raghav's voice came from behind while he stood holding the coffee mug.. "Thanks.. (looking at the view) you still love the sea??", she asked..
Amused at her question Raghav replied ,"You remember??".. if she didn't had hid it Raghav could've seen that flash of disappointment in her eyes on knowing that he thought she forgot his likes.. Kalpi just hmmed in reply and sipped her coffee and a smile sneaked onto her face.. Singhaania special.. she used to call it fondly.. even starbucks didn't have the same magic..
Raghav too on the other hand was busy in his own thoughts still trying to believe that she was here.. His Ms.Jadhav was here.. But this certainly wasn't the way he wished it to be.. behaving with her how he behaved with other professional colleagues..
"Sorry..", he heard her say.. Looking at his puzzled expression she continued," I wanted to inform before leaving but mom's condition was worseming so had to leave immediately to India.. And later when I tried to contact you I couldn't..", she ended looking at her almost empty coffee mug.. "I also didn't have your India's contact no. ..And then I shifted permanently to delhi and all..."..
"Whatever it was.. its done woth .. good news is we met agin..", Kalpi said cheerfully.. Raghav took theor empty coffe mugs and placed them on the coffeee table and that's when Kalpi saw the coke bottle with whisky glasses..
"Seriously Singhaania you haven't changed a bit.. Still with this coke..", she said chuckling.. Passing a look at the whisky glasses he said," How can I not follow orders of her highness Kalpana Vithal Jadhav... who herself used to gulp down bottles of beer..".. Kalpi smiled at his words remembering how whenever whichever party they went to she never allowed him to consume alchoholic drinks while she herself used to enjoy all of them..
Finally formality was all lost with the two friends reminiscing their college days..

The clock tinged indicating the time to be 12'o clock..
"Got to leave now..", Kalpi said while getting up from the floor where the two sat with photo albums discussing college events amd ina ll these they didn't realse whenthe time passed...
The two friends hugged each other knowing well that its gonna be after many weeks that they would meet again.. if they met.. coz Kalpi was going back to India where the project was to be done and Raghav had work here in US..
Minutes after Kalpi's departure he was back in his usual place.. and his phone beeped.. It was text from Kalpi qho took his no. before leaving..
"You asked na why I used to stop you from drinking.. Wanna know why??"
"Yup.."
"One night I met a guy in a party.. je wasn't in his senses and almost hit my car..
I fell in love with that drunk guy .. and now I don't want him to get drunk again making some other girl fall in love with him.."
