She knew who he was and yet she wasn't drooling or throwing herself on him!! Strange!! It's this a start of a genuine friendship?! So Kalpi is working for his dad! Now he have no choice but to listen to her!! I love this!! Marie awesome work!! Hats off

Err...sorry for that repeated beware notice, it was just my way of reminding myself that its ok to sometimes let go off that perfection bukhaar & just write for the sake of fun.

So here comes chapter 4 ...with me typing whatever comes to my head without caring whether it would be nice or not. So excuse the errors & the update if you don't like it !! 😃😃

Chapter 4

The security checks were done , luggage deposited as they now headed to the terminal where their airplane awaited them. For the first time in his life Raghav was feeling weird around a woman ..maybe coz he had met someone like her for the first time. To make it more weirder he found that most of the time she was walking behind him with her eyes downcasted giving the master-slave feeling. He even tried slowing down his pace a couple of times so she could actually start walking with him, but nothing of that sorts happened. She continued to walk behind him.

She was his assistant for this trip ...well actually, she was his only savior who would help him crack the so-called deal & stop his dad from kicking him out of the house ..he knew that well. But being an assistant didn't mean she would walk behind him like a maid or something. He didn't know why, but that was annoying him. Something was wrong with that girl for sure ...he had concluded.

They had finally boarded the flight as he & Kalpana took their seats. He rotated a gaze around. There were uncles dug up in their newspapers , children being fastened up to their seats by their parents, teens fiddling with their phones desperately as if their life depended on it & last but not the least some hot-shot chics & the entire air hostess clan staring at him ..some aunties as well ...he didn't mind them though. He smirked as he knew what would be his passtime for the upcoming hours of his flight. He was going to have some real fun !!

He continued his survey as it finally ended on the lady sitting next to him as he observed her deeply. She was tapping one of her feet vigorously as she kept looking outside the window again & agian. The novel in her hand was hardly getting any of her attention as she looked around as if the plane is going to be hijacked. "I hope she isn't a terrorist !" thought he as he laughed at his own remark.

'Ladies & Gentlemen ..." The announcements had begun.

With every word of the pilot that processed with time , Raghav felt the woman sitting beside him fret more & more. The tapping of her feet now rigorous ..her fingers clutching onto the edges of her book.

'The plane will now take off. Enjoy the flight. ' Those words make her eyes shut tight as sweat started to form on her forehead.

That was when Raghav realized , for Gods above ..She was scared of heights !! He frowned on not noticing it before. Wondering what to do , he silently forwarded his hand as he got the book off her lap thus making her eyes fling open. Dark brown eyes , immersed in fear looked back at Raghav.

"What happened Mr. Singha..."

"Ah-ah-ah...Mr Singhaniya ...hamara father..the mahaan insaan...hum Raghav ! Agli baar tum humko hamaara father ke naam se address kiya toh God tumko phhunishh karega !!" he had said in a complete Goan accent. Somewhat similar to the priests over there.

Raghav saw the fret on her face slowly disappear , her lips curving upwards in an amused smile. He patted himself mentally on seeing the improvement, as he thanked Sammy for playing those Amitabh Bacchan movies at home a couple of times as also his observant nature which had brought to his notice an AB biography in her bag while he helped her gather her things moments ago.

"Ummm--My book please --Si" her reluctant voice shunned when she saw Raghav mockingly raise his eyebrows.

Then looking around "I didn't notice dad any where babes. Biggie terms like SIR & MR SINGHANIYA suit him , not me !"

"But--"

"No ifs & buts ... " Then glancing at the book's title as he spun the novel on his lap " Ah - Tale of 2 cities ...Dickens & all ha ??"

He had said that in a complete friendly manner , but the thing which happened next left him bemused. Kalpana's expressions altered drastically as she literally pounced (control ur thoughts ladiesss ...hum adult chize nahi likhte😉😛) on him & snatched the book away.

The moment she had done that something slipped through it & landed near Raghav's feet. He looked at her abruptly as an instantaneous rxn , she flushed. Raghav slowly bent down as he got the book that lay at his feet , the one which was so long hidden in the Charles Dickens classic.

It was a manga , a kung fu panda manga. Raghav glanced at her again , this time she was cherry red.

"Ummm...its not mine ...its .." She was trying to cover up with her fumbling words as Raghav gaped at the various shades of red that kept fluctuating on her face.

Her words were again cut when 'The plane will now take off. Please put on your seatbelts --'

She gulped as her breathing unevened all over again , with her teeth nibbling onto her lower lip. Raghav could sense the fear building within her. But what was he supposed to do ? That's when his eyes fell on the manga as he let out an unholy squeak ...one he might be ashamed in the future, but at the moment his priority was different as he started off.

"Man ! Kung fu Panda ? I love it ...I just love these ...ummm ...series ! The 3rd part especially " he had said trying to sound all excited & knowledgeable.

" The third part hasn't launched yet !" She had countered.

"Ummm...yeah , but my friend ...ummm hes the writer of this ..ummm...panda & his kung fu !"

"Really ? So is he the one who has written Po & Master Shifu & Tigress &..." Her eyes had sparkled slightly as she asked the question.

Raghav's eyes shifted for a moment to thewindow behind. The plane had taken off & there wasn't an ounce of fear on the once freaked out assistant of his. Instead, she was now looking at him like a child , an innocent one ...asking bout cartoons with twinkling eyes hidden behind her thick glasses

He couldn't help but grin. The girl was not his types for sure...she was of her own type ! All unpredictable ...but why the reluctance so long ? Letting those questions to be unanswered

"Of course , I know all these characters. U wanna hear the plot of the next part ...part 3? "

She had nodded as he started off

"The story is about a Panda...who, like u said was separated from his father... Coz of sheing & his evvviiil plans." He had said modifying his tone & stretching the word evil. (Priyeee , u shud take lessons from my Raghav to teach ur kg bacchas 😆)

Raghav continued to tell her the story with all sorts of sound effects he could keeping the public place he was in ,in mind . To his amusement , he was actually enjoying the story telling ...with the twinkling deer like eyes gazing at him. Hours passed by ...

"Po was trying his best to save Master Shifu. But he also had to save his dad who was in danger as well ..."

'This is to inform the passengers that we have safely landed. Hope you have enjoyed the flight.'

The machine like voice broke Their reverie as they looked around. People were getting off their seats , gathering their things , heading towards the exit...& there the 2 of them sat with no idea as to when had the long journey come to an end !

Thats when Raghav's eyes fell on the air hostess' & the chics who looked at him hungrily... & again there was a

Dhad !!

Kalpana had accidentally hit her head while getting up. She rubbed the place with her palm as she excused herself.

Raghav looked at kalpana's retreating figure & then the girls of his so-called type. Kya socha tha & kya ho gaya ? Nonetheless ...he enjoyed the narration

He now actually wondered what all changes wud his daddy's spy girl bring in him.

Err...I know the chappy is all haywire & unplanned & weird ..couldn't put in funny punches also 😭 but then I had already warned ull in advance ! Dont worry , this is actually a small portion of a very important turn the story wud take in the near future. (Plz dont judge any of the chars at such an early stage)
