Chapter 25

It wasn't till Kalpana and Raghav laid on bed, with Raghav holding her possessively as if, the moment he would let her go she would just vanish. Kalpana kept assuring hand on his shoulder, and assured him that no one can take her away from him, but nothing worked. He continued holding her close, till her phone ringed, Raghav was first one to glance in the direction, but considering number was private, before Kalpana can pick it up, he took it away and answered it, "Hello?" he asked, with no reply coming from other end, he began shouting as if it would help. Only response for him was "Toon Toon Toon" line was cut. "Who the hell was this?" he asked, Kalpana bowed her head, and told him about "Missed Calls" she has been getting, and time and again, it would come as distraction. "That's fine, we are getting your number changed tomorrow!" he informed her. Kalpana wanted to speak up, and speak up for herself, but sensing the anger Raghav had in his head, she decided to keep mum. She simply nodded and rested her head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around her, closing his eyes. Kalpana's thoughts kept pinching her, "Raghav, this would be part of life, it can happen to anyone, and in any office... I still feel I should work anywhere but your company... And with you by my side I want face these obstacles and emerge as winner. There might be such Vihaans and Dhruvs and Pakhis everywhere... It shouldn't let us stop... stop us from achieving heights we have always aimed for..." she looked at Raghav who seemed asleep, "When will you understand me Raghav?" she asked, as she touched his cheeks, "I am not weak, I can take care of myself, and I expect you to encourage me, and rescue me when I fall weak... and not let me fall one.." she continued whispering, knowing he isn't listening to a word she is saying. "Is it right for me to sit back at home, or work in Raghav's company with fear of such people? Should I be the one who should stop myself from walking on steps of success, for things which weren't in my hands, and it wasn't my fault?" were questions that she kept throwing to Raghav... As if listening to he unconsciously, his grip on her loosened, and she set herself in comfortable position, still hugging him, as he held her hand in his sleep. "I will always be yours Raghav, but you need to trust me, believe in me, and be by me.. I love you Raghav... I really do..." Kalpana spoke to him, before her thoughts made her drift into sleep.

Next day morning, it was Raghav who was up first, and he decided to have his simple breakfast of milk-cereal with his Kalpana. Before waking her up, he decided to head to kitchen and get things ready. However, his plans failed as Kalpana got up, just in few minutes not finding him around. Kalpana found him in kitchen, with his back facing on other side, as he prepared cereal. She wrapped her arms around his chest from back side and rested her head on his back, "Good Morning Raghav..." Putting his hand on hers on his chest, he smiled wishing her same. He turned around with smile to see her beautiful face, trying to read her. Kalpana was confused as she asked him, "What happened Raghav?" she asked, to which he simply nodded, "I felt you were telling me something last night, though I do not know what, and something is there Kalpana..." he replied, and pulled her in hug, "I am just trying to read your eyes, are thoughts of Vihaan's act yesterday, still bothering you. Kalpana nodded in no, "Not really, because I know you are always there for me.. No Vihaan or his action can ever bother me..." she replied with smile. Soon enough they both settled down for breakfast and had their own sweet time, feeding each other and chit chatting on topics, which had nothing to do with professional lives of either of them.

Once Raghav left for office, Kalpana called up the place where she worked earlier, Vihaan's company and with help of another female collegue of hers, "Naina" Kalpana made her way to police station. Kalpi then filed complaint against the number which has been distracting her and been giving missed calls. Police assured Kalpana to trace the number and let her know as soon as possible, however they requested her to leave her number with them. Considering Raghav had already made arrangement for new number, without a second thought, she left her sim card with Police man. Thankfully she didn't let Raghav deactivate number yet, under pretext of missing out on any important messages who still didn't have new number.

It didn't take police centuries to work on it considering, psychopath butler kept on calling her again and again on Vihaan's instances, who was still out by him, making sure Kalpana wouldn't spend her much time with Raghav, and would be distracted. It was just next day evening when Kalpana and Police officer traced the missed caller, and got hold of him.

Police, Kalpana and Naina made their way into that place, and being able to catch Vihaan and Butler red handed making Kalpana's anger reach it's peak. She made her way towards Vihaan, and turned him around to face her, giving her one tight slap. Vihaan looked at her shocked and even more shockingly towards police gang she had got along, "HOW DARE YOU?" she roared at him, "AREN'T YOU ASHAMED OF YOUSELF EVEN AFTER BEING WASHED OFF BY MY Raghav," here she emphasized with louder tone on "My" reminding him, she belongs to that one person, "MY RAGHAV, YOU CONTINUE TO PLAY YOUR DIRTY TRICKS!" Vihaan fisted his hand and pulled Kalpana and chocking her with other hand, "YOU AREN'T his!" screamed Vihaan, as Police and Naina came towards her to make him leave Kalpi, that's exactly when Raghav called, Kalpi smiled seeing his name flashing and showed it to Vihaan, "MY RAGHAV is calling..." she confirmed yet again, and picked up call, as Police held Vihaan, "Kalpi where are you?" asked worried Raghav, hearing his tone, Kalpana gulped, "Are you okay? I felt something as if something went wrong..." he panicked while speaking. Kalpi smiled at his concerned voice, as she assured him she was fine and looked at Vihaan, Kalpi put her speaker on, "Kalpi are you there? Are you alright? I am not feeling right..." he kept repeating, "I am fine Raghav..." replied Kalpi, as Vihaan Screamed, "NOOO!!! YOU ARE MINE KALPI" making Raghav aware of his presence around as he tried pulling his hands out of grip from police. Raghav was shocked and his eyes widened, "KALPI WHERE ARE YOU?" Raghav asked panicking in quick tone, Kalpi gave him address and he instantly kept phone down, saying he will be there...

It didn't take much time for him to make his way to the place where butler and Vihaan resided and barged in anger. He went to Vihaan slapping him tight once again, and Police stopped him from beating him any futher, "Relax Mr. Singhaniya, he is under arrest now, and in out custordy, with all evidences we have gathered," they informed. Raghav simply nodded but his anger was still at peak. Kalpana kept her hand on his shoulder, and Raghav looked at her with equal intensity of anger. Kalpana was scared, but she stood there firm, "See Raghav, I can take care of myself!" she stated and before anything else she hugged him, just to make sure he would calm down and understand her and her actions. Raghav closed his eyes, but didn't hug her back yet... "What if something..." but his words were cut, "NOTHING Happened, and nothing can happen... as long as your love keeps me strong..."she replied making Vihaan react once again, "It's all drama.." he screamed, "She loves me..." Vihaan continued blabbering... as Raghav rolled his eyes, and commanded inspector to take him out of his sight! He held Kalpana by hand and dragged her out from that place, and sitting in car, he looked at her demanding her to continue her explaination.
