I have written Whatever I can, I am hoping it's good enough and somewhere near expectation of other writers.. Thank You Mariee Di for giving me this chance to contribute a chapter in this beautiful story.

Chapter 17

Kalpana stood by the window staring at darkness of the thundering sky. She would often spend her time staring at moon, as a source of light in the darkness, but today only source of light in the darkness was those 3 seconds of lightning that jolted, before hearing trumbling sound of thunder... "Today's scenario, is just like my life right now... Darkness with only few reasons to be happy..." she thought, as her fingers tangled with the sacred necklace that hung around her neck, it was her Mangalsutra, She held it's pendant so tight in her hand that part of it's designs were imprinted on her hand on releasing it freely around her neck, as tears rolled down her eyes, "Yes! She had agreed to marry him, she wanted to HIM in her life, BUT not this way..." she thought as her thoughts took her back to day when Mr. Fernandes had brought intriguing business Project and Kalpana's eyes shone with hope and Raghav did notice it and realized... she deeply wished to lead the project but he had different plans for them. . and on top of it... she paused her thoughts of past when she heard door bell ... realizing
it could be Raghav... she didn't budge from her place to open the door..

Raghav turned the knob of huge entrance before removing the key from key hole and entered his mansion and looked around, "Once upon a time, your presence was soul of mansion... but today it's haunting even with you being OUR house, place where you belong..." thought Raghav. He crossed the kitchen area, and as usual, his caring wife had left cooked food covered on the dining table, with a glass of water ready... He smiled at these smallest gesture his wife showed, inspite of being upset with him. Mostly they would have silent dinner ever since they have been married, i.e. since one week. "I still do not regret my actions Kalpi..." he spoke to himself, when disgusting words of Kamla re ran in thoughts "No Kalpi, You will not get my blessings! You have snatched Raghav baba from Pakhi, and you..." Kamla continued turning to Raghav, "You very well knew my daughter Pakhi loved you, and was all set to get engaged, what did you do with her?" she questioned him, and Kalpana had stood there frozen. While Raghav stood there feeling completely disgusted at words of kalpana's Mother. He wished he would have kept on his words of not speaking to her mother or her family as whole.
Raghav firmly believed none of their families deserved their respect or permission. But Kalpana was determined to have blessings of both families, while none nor Gauri nor Kamla had agreed for this marriage... RAGHAV WAS determined to make sure he would make Kalpana realize all that matters to each other is being together and nothing else... he thought while he completed his dinner..

Kalpana observed hidden from his sight when he completed his dinner till satiety, and smiled but next moment it disappeared as she recalled, that Gauri didn't expect Raghav to chose some maid's daughter to be his wife over someone like Pakhi who matched their status. Kalpana's heart pierced with pain hearing harsh words from Gauri... but Raghav kept on assuring her.. she is and will always be the only one...

"Raghav I always told you.. I wanted to be someone... someone worth being your wife and convince our families for marriage. . but you never gave me that chance..." Kalpana spoke to herself and looked at her form in mirror. herself who had Sindoor near her forehead and Mangalsutra around her neck.. "Only identity I have is of being Mrs. Raghav Singhnaiya" she thought.

"I have told you so many times Kalpana to come back and work with me in office and we can..." she heard him say as he entered the room like reading her thoughts. . well that was not difficult for him as those were only things that has filled her mind ever since their marriage.. and for nth time she retorted back. . "That day when you announced to everyone else in YOUR office about our relationship only person I am for other people is gold digger or your favorite employee or some special person. . But Not Kalpana... ." she replied back. . "Because YOU had refused to come back to our house!" He immediately replied back.. and Kalpana rolled her eyes but
Raghav looked at Kalpana intently and she too looked back at him with glint of anger as they went back to the day when she had come to his cabin pleading him..
Flashback:
"Raghav, please let me work on new Project" she requested to Raghav. Raghav smiled at her.. "No ways.. I cannot delay our other plans for this proposal.. this Project is almost 3 years long and it might require members involved to travel to London for quiet long duration. ." he tried explaining to her cupping her face in between his palms, as he looked into her teary eyes, "I am ok with it Raghav.. I would love to go there and prove myself..".. she reasoned.. Raghav's hand left her cheeks and he brought it to her shoulder "whom do you wish to prove Kalpana?" he asked looking at her..Kalpana stared back as his hands travelled down to hold her hands and bring them to his lips, "Kalpi I am the one who needs you the most" he said holding her hand and pulling her close to him... "We have to get married Kalpana and have our own time of life which need not be wasted on these stupid things and projects and working all along. " he said... Kalpana was still not convinced .. as she tried to once again put forth "But Raghav..." but her words were cut when Raghav placed his index finger on her lips "Shhh..." he said... and held her hands and lead her outside from the cabin holding her hands.. seeing them there many employees were shocked.. except for few who were aware of this relationship of Raghav and Kalpana.. Raghav led her to the main floor and introduced Kalpana officially as his Fiance... shocking Kalpana. .
Flashback Ends

"And you aren't allowing me to work elsewhere.." Kalpana complained frustrated. Raghav stepped closer towards her "I want you close to me," he said determined and she stepped back refusing his closeness... "Raghav I have two things, I want blessings from OUR family for this marriage, and I ..." her words were cut, "They do not deserve our attention Kalpana, and I am always by You, for you to achieve your dreams..."he completed in determined tone.

Awesome update dear. Ragna got married already 😛.kamla and gaury being jerk 😡 and wanted house fly in Raghav ' s life😡. Kalpi wanted to achieve something before marriage and want blessing of her family but Raghav know they don't deserve kalpna. So he decided to marry her without them.he is there for her to achieve whatever she wants. Very well written chapter.

Last week someone had suggested me this story... :P and I finally caught up Mariee YAY... when u havr soo many chapters to read and an hour in train.. what a perfect work! 😉

Ab.. sachi sachi batao.. u writers do not plan at all?? Itna links itna acha flow... wow..
