Chapter 12
Kalpi walked back to the boardroom all flustered. First thing she grab was her handbag and headed for the elevator. In the Elevator Kalpi self talks " Oh Bappa what does that akdoo means you're mine " My Foot she snaps and entered her apartment .
It has been two days since the run in between Raghav & Kalpi. Here over the last two days was tough on Raghav as to how he would win his lady love back .In these past two days Raghav was thanking his lucky stars for being in that 5 star hotel that fateful night that changed his life forever. Kalpi came into Raghav's life like a lighting creating total chaos. Raghav wasn't used to all that love and affection shown upon him. For some unknown reasons he felt connected with her .Her talks , her cooking & her presents just filled that void, he like having her around him he feels complete. After having five cold shower still he wants her badly. I LOVE HER DAMMIT . I just have to let her know how I feel ...Finally he drifted off to sleep.
Here Kalpi wasn't any better the words of Raghav keeps ringing her ears " MINE " . How do I face that akdoo ,now that I have to work in the same office as him " help me " Bappa. First thing is to repay my debts to that Singhania then I will be out his clutches she smile.
Kalpi stand staring at the signs in front of her Singhania Group of Companies .As she entered the building she was greeted by two security guards . Kalpi was ushered to the 20 th floor of the building .As she exited the doors . She headed for the reception area. Surprisely she was impressed with the decor, which help take her mind off facing that akdoo . The receptionist escorts Kalpi to the board room " Mr Singhania would be with you shortly " would you like anything to drink in the meantime said the receptionist . " No thank you " said kalpi . With each passing minute Kalpi 's nerve was racing she was panic mood now... when suddenly she heard the door of the boardroom tap open . She grasp !! he 's here ... keeping her face intact and put her worries aside . Time to face the tiger she thought.
Kalpii said Raghav . Kalpi stand up she lets out "Mr Singhania" ."Kalpi you don't have to be formal with me you can called me "Raghav ". " Mr Singhania FYI I'm here to work not for your entertainment " she snap her finger in his face .
Kalpi gets up and start walking towards the door before she can turned the door knob .She was held by the waist and tight arms embraced her down the walls .Raghav said " Kalpi your not leaving this room until you listen to what I have to say, I have been trying to talked to you these past few days now and you keep ignoring me " . Raghav lets go of kalpi and rubbed his hands over his head and start speaking '' Kalpana I know I have hurt you deeply and I 'm very sorry for that punished me for that but please don't ever leave me and go like that . Kalpana you came into my life when least expected and turned my life upside down and I'm loving it .My life before you has no meaning only gray after meeting you , you filled my life with colors.You Kalpi made that possible .
The last 2 weeks I was going insane ...I have been looking everywhere for you .Each turned I made seems like you vanished from thin air ...Faith and destiny has brought you back to me ...A second chance and this time I wouldn't let you go ...Kalpi I have fallen deeply & madly in love with you ...I cannot live a moment without you ...I wanna love you unconditionally and filled your life with colours and to show you the world.
Kalpi looked at Raghav in total shock ...She cannot believed what she 's hearing and break the embraced tears streaming down her face ... She began speaking " Mr Singhania listen and listen well .Firstly you don't own me nor you cannot force me to work for you . Secondly do you know the meaning of love ? You claimed to love me yet you force me to work for you also I still have to repay my debts I owed you...U know what ? I intend to repay every cent I owed you ...Is that what you called love ? Everyone I know claim they love me yet they show fake love ...Each & every word was like a knife piercing through Raghav's heart ...He tried not to show his emotions yet tears began to fall ...unnoticed by Kalpi .
Kalpi move away from Raghav crying & sobbing trying to open the door yet the door wouldn't open ...She start banging the door . " Mr Singhania open this door right now or else ..."Or else what "said Raghav " I will scream and break down this door this very minute " said a crying Kalpi ...Raghav start laughing " Sorry to inform you sweetheart this room is sound proof nor you cannot break door that easily ,it has security feature " said Raghav. Kalpi wasn't ready to listen to Raghav .She start hitting the door once again. Raghav grabed Kalpi's by the arm and said to her " Kalpi stopped being childish " me being childish? Your dead wrong Singhania" ...Kalpi pulled herself off from Raghav's hold...She falls on her knees and slowly she began speaking.
All my life people and the ones I loves have been taking me for granted, telling me how to live my life ...My aai the woman who give birth to me has deprived me of a mother's love ...All her love has been given to her mesaab daughter Pahki Kapoor ...What 's my fault for being a maid's daughter ? But instead she choose to love Pakhi more than me ...Everything I have Pakhi wants and my aai makes sure she gets it even it hurt me in the process my dada who I thought love me no matter what but I was wrong thanks to Pakhi I lost my dada too ...I can never forgive Pahki Kapoor because of her I have no family .She made me homeless and most of all she made my parents throw me out of my home with no job and no money ...So what did I do ? I packed few of my belonging and entered the big wide world without any care and concern ...I had a few saving ...I decided to start my life afresh ...First thing I did was to eased the pain I headed towards that 5 Star hotel and drink my worries away...One of the security guy let me in thinking I was a rich brat ...Here I was dancing my sorrow away taking shots after shots not realizing I already took 10 shots when suddenly the manager came over to me when he realised I'm not paying my tabs ...He took away every last cent I had,even that wasn't enough to covered one shot much less 10 shots ...That's when you came over to my rescue..." I'm not sure at that moment if I should thank you or not also providing me a shelter when I had no place to go " ...After I came to your home for a moment my happiness was restored ...When your friend came to your house and you introduce me as your girlfriend I felt special and thought I should go along with the flow ...But when you introduce me as a servant to your mom old wounds has restored and reality hits me ...At that moment I needed to escape somehow Kalpi Finished ...She was still on the floor crying non stopped ...Raghav looked helpless ...He know she 's hurting badly wanted to ease the pain way ...He cuddle her into his arms ...At the same time he was thinking how can a parents being so cruel to their own child and reality hits him... the grass isn't always green on the other side.
