Rags sees himself in kalpi! He knows what he have done in his life, he is afraid!! That's why he kept trying to hurt kalpi! Ever since he saw he fell n her reaction he felt what she felt!! Which created a somewhat bond between them both!! Kalpi might not know this but he does! It's like they were connected in some way!!
And he is afraid to he held! Afraid to feel love, afraid to experience it because he will get weak!! Actually he can be himself around her n he is afraid she will get to know that person behind this shadow! Boy you're good!! That's why he wants to hurt her! He loves her n don't want to admit it!! As a matter of fact Kalpi loves him too! That feeling they both felt n thinking of eachother is the sign of love!! Rags just want to take advantage of Kalpi becasue he is pure n simple afraid to love!
I loved the walk! How they both connected the way they laughed n was consumed in it made them both forget!!
Now I don't know what he is trying to prove by embracing prem like that!! What I do think is he will surely regret doing it becasue Kalpi wudnt forgive him that easily!
But rags is hiding beneath this arrogant RS!! Waiting to see him open up n accept what he feels!

12th Shot - What now ??

It was 1 in the night as Raghav sat in a dimly lit living room. Saying that he wasn't restless would be the biggest lie. The scene he created that evening kept replaying in loops in his head. He insulting Prem to indirectly hurt Kalpana - so that he could prove Sammy wrong...wrong when he had said that he had developed a soft corner for kalpi & looked forward to her company...wrong when Sammy claimed that he was changing & was becoming like the Raghav of the past - A Raghav which he himself hated & termed as 'WEAK' !

Tapping his feet to a tune of absolute nothing & staring at the door once in a while he pressed the call button again. That's what he has been doing the entire evening...

"The no. u have dialled is out of coverage area ..."

Running a hand through his disheveled hair he flung the phone on the opposite sofa. He had been making continuous attempts to get in contact with Sammy or Kalpana to know the exact status of Prem in the hospital. But alas ! Nobody was receiving calls of any sort ...

Click ! Click ! His eyes widened as he got off the chair and watched the door being unlocked more keenly. It had to be Kalpana ! He predicted...it was only she who used keys to open the door, he had known that in the last week. Not waiting for the door to have a suspense-filled opening he quickly rushed to the door & opened it himself.

To his dismay it was Sammy who stood there holding onto the key fitted into the keyhole, to some extent struggling with it.

"Raghav ? U r awake ?"

Immediately turning away from him "Yeah , I had some work. Nothing else ..."

Sammy knew his friend well as also his habit of avoiding things that made him seem emotional. How he wished he could drill in some truths in that egoistic head of his...but he didn't wanna take a risk this time. The last time he'd tried ..he could very well see its effects. He huffed as he himself started speaking.

"Prem was a psychological patient Raghav. He'd been under treatments for over 5 years now. I couldn't get much of the detail ...but I heard the docs say that some incident -which both u n me know what is it has triggered some of his fears again & hence a panic attack."

A lil pause as he looked at Raghav, he could make out that he was guilty & disturbed & had finally realized that he had wronged Kalpana. If only he had realized it before ..

"Good night Raghav , we have a long day tomorrow ...go sleep !" he said as he walked away to his room.

Sammy's short explanation justified all of Prem's breakdown making him feel all the more guiltier to unnecessarily drag him between himself & Kalpana.

Raghav sighed as he sat on the sofa, his eyes yet stealing glances at the door every now & then.

What now ??? - Was the the only question revolving in his head.

This was somethin I had written long back .. I remember i had something nice planned for this chappy but i have totally forgotten it. So I'll restart with a new chappy , a new scene very soon.The chappy wud be up this week.😃😃

He need to apologize to Kalpi and Prem but I wonder if he ever would...
