Charu,what an ending to Raghav & Kalpana's epic love story ! To say it was amazing,would be an understatement.I loved every bit of it.
Oh wow,I don't know how to start even.I was so overwhelmed.
Raghav Kalpana made the perfect onscreen couple for me Charu.I have loved them more than any other couple.They were perfect for each other in every way possible.
Shreya aptly wrote here on this forum long ago that "One has a lot of love to give & the other needs a lot of love to heal".They were that perfect for each other.
As individuals they were both strong & very well sketched characters but the one story of their coming together was one hell of a tale to tell.
They both were damaged,scarred,emotionally broken,kept on fighting an inner turmoil all those years of growing up.They both had their demons which wouldnt let them rest,always lurking in the shadows waiting to take over.They had seen & gone through things,noone wishes to see,both forced to grow up,mature way too fast for their age.All they ever wanted was to be normal,to live,to love,to be just happy.But destiny was too miserly when it came to giving them what they wished for,the only thing that they ever wished for - Love. Love - a powerful emotion that has the capability to bring people together,transform lives & make life beautiful like few things can.All they ever wanted was to be loved,a chance to be truly happy.
The demons inside wouldnt let them be happy,they wouldn't let them sleep,they wouldn't let them live.No matter how hard they tried,they couldn't find relief.It was a battle they were meant to lose right from the start.But stubborn as they were,they were not willing to go down without so much as a fight.After all, all they wanted back was what was rightfully theirs,that which had been snatched away from them.Life had been nothing short of brutal & unfair at its very best for them.The injustice,the unfairness of it all was tearing them apart.They wanted to put all of this to rest once & for all,wanted to finally find peace - peace that which had eluded them for so long.That they had to do this themselves,dawned on them quite early on.They wanted to set things right,turn the clock back even,to happier times,times when they could be themselves,be the kids that they never were,get back their lost childhood,laugh,play,do whatever they wanted without a care in the world.For somewhere down the line they seemed to have lost themselves. Growing up it is this quest that will go on to define them as individuals.
Driven by rage they both set off on this path to self destruction to see to it that justice was served for every wrong that they had to endure.The tempest was raging within,lashing at every ounce of strength left in them threatening to consume them,obliterate their very existence.
But this time around destiny had something else in store for them.This time,something pleasant.Ragna would find each other & in the process find everything that they ever craved for in each other - Peace,Bliss,Relief & Love.How each one of them had something that the other needed/wanted,thereby filling up the hole in their lives,meking each other complete was a beautiful story to behold.
Charu,the undying love of Raghav & Kalpana which you showed left me speechless.It was what as audiences,we all wanted to see.Ragna's love for each other wasn't the same.It just grew in time.With each one of them having the other by his side,they went on to conquer everything.The perfect house,the perfect family,social standing.They achieved everything.They were the perfect role models for their children,even thier grandchildren.Hell yeah they were Charu.They were great characters,strong,resilient,never willing to back down.They had their flaws but even if with all their flaws,they were perfect for me.They died in each other's arms knowing that they had each other now & always.I cried like anything Charu.It was beautiful.
Kalpi wishing to die ahead of Raghav was touching.Know what Charu,I had always wanted to see this side of Kalpana in the show.Because that Kalpi meant the world to Raghav,that for him she was everything was pretty evident in the show.Raghav had noone in his life & so Kalpi was all he had.But Kalpi had always had a loving family,so she might not love Raghav as much as Raghav loved her.Well she was madly in love with Raghav but it was just not the same as Raghav's love for her.That's what I think.Like Sahana once wrote "Ragna might get married & have kids someday but Raghav is always going to put Kalpana in the 1st place.She is his world.But Kalpi though is madly in love with him,might not feel the same because she did not crave for love the way Raghav did.She always had this loving family".So I thought the separation was a great opportunity for the makers to make Kalpana feel about Raghav the way Raghav feels for her.Realise how much she wanted Raghav in her life.
Beautiful family tree there Charu.Also I wanted to see this close relationships between the Singhanias,Kapoors & the Raizaadas.Sammy & Raghav's friendship is eternal.The way you portrayed
Sammy's respect,love,care for Kalpi was beautiful.It was like in the show.Sammy respected Kalpana & always knew her to be the one to be the shining light in Raghav's life.Sammy hugging Raghav's corpse & crying his heart out was heartbreaking.But was beautiful in the way that it showed the depth of their friendship.
Prem & Raghav's friendship was what I always wanted to see in the show.Prem was just spoilt,but wasnt as sinister as his father.I remember one particular scene in EMA when a fustrated Prem shouts out to his father about how he didnt understand as to why Raghav was out to get them.He was confused.He didnt know what his parents had done to Raghav way back.You showed it beautifully.That Prem wanting to set things right after everything was out in the open was what I expected.
About Pakhi,you know very well Charu,how much I like Pakhi.She was a great girl until she turned villain.But even though she turned into a vamp,I always expected her to get back to what she essentially was,sweet & innocent,but the show went bust.Showing Pakhi the way you did made me really happy.
When I was done with the epilogue I felt like it was the end of EMA, i.e. the way I would have wanted EMA to end.It was beautiful Charu.Simply beautiful.
Ragna are always going to hold a special place in my heart Charu.They were beautiful the way they were.
Will say it again,a great & befitting end to Raghav & Kalpana's love story.It's beautiful.You are an amazing writer Charu.Everything was just perfect.Simply beautiful.
