Guys I am so sorry for disappearing like this... Holding my ears... On my knees...
Hope you all accept my apology for keeping you hanging for so long.
I have always had a busy schedule... But before watching Ragna everyday made me stay up till God knows what time... Typing away... Lately I feel so detached from them and that lack the motivation to write about them... That need and urges dwindling... Hence my zeal is diminishing... Amd am also experiancing lots of mental blocks.
Chapter 7
"Yo buddy," Ayaan says as he slaps Ragav on the back. Ragav turns, gets up from the bar stool, grinning, hugs his friend, saying, "long time buddy." Turning to the bartender he calls out, "two scotch on the rocks, please."
Sipping his drink, Ayaan chuckles, saying, "buddy, I hear that you have decided to hang yourself." Frowning, Ragav looks to his engagement ring, gives a half hearted smile to Ayaan, replying, "yea." Shaking his blues away, Ragav adds, "what about you?" Ayaan takes a gulp of his drink, then says, "what about me?" With a polite smile, Ragav asks, "are you planning to take the plunge?" Frowning Ayaan replies, "the pressure is on. If mum had it her way, I would be sitting in front of the agni right now." Not seeing any spark of happiness, Ayaan frowns and says casually, "love marriage or arrange marriage?"
Ragav gulps down his drink and signals to the bartender for another, with false humour he replies, "hang myself or shoot myself? What does it matter! In both scenarios I am a dead man." He takes the drink from the waiter and gulps it down in one go.
Not knowing what to say, Ayaan just stares at Ragav silently. Sighing Ragav looks at him and adds, "sorry. I. Look... Just forget about all this. We shall talk another time." Ayaan nods, saying, "yea sure another time."

Smiling as he takes in the sunrise, Ayaan looks towards his mother and says, "it is so peaceful here. I just love the energy around this temple." Chuckling, simian says, "how about enjoying the energy inside the temple too." Grinning cheekily Ayaan replies, "your wish is my command."

Frowning, Kalpi walks briskly after her mother, seeing the temple they are heading towards... She wonders in confusion why her mother chose to come to this temple. Her frown lingering as she watches the sun rise.
Racing after her mother, Kalpi misses a step on the stairs... She yelps as she falls backwards. Shutting her eyes in fear... Strong arms hold her... Breaking her fall.
Ayaan looks at the girl in his arms, her features clenched in fear... He whispers, "you are safe." Kalpi opens her eyes. ayaan stares into eyes whose intensity entrap a him. In that split second reading... Anguish, pain, sorrow... Before a veneer of politeness takes over. Kalpi quickly straightens up and steps away, not meeting his gaze she politely thanks him for saving her.
Reeling from the emotions he felt from Kalpi, Ayaan frowns as he watches her run into the temple.
After prayers, Kalpi sits on the temple stairs patiently waiting for her mother. Ayaan sits several paces away from Kalpi... His gaze occasionally wandering towards her as he too waits for his mother. He freezes, totally mesmerised as he watches Kalpi's features transform as she smiles at somebody. His gaze following her, he mutters in surprise, "Neetu aunty."
Neetu tries to keep the guilt away as she watches Kalpi run towards her... Her gaze filled with joy... Kalpi hugs her tight, whispering, "Neetu maa."
