Hey guys I'm back with an update!

Part 10 - First Day at F.I.T.E. (2)
Evening dawned upon the campus casting an orange hue all over the area. Kalpana and Anjali spent their time getting familiar with their hostel area, meeting and introducing with other girls on their floor and below.
Both the girls Kalpana and Anjali had opted for specialized in mechanical engineering. F.I.T.E has conducted a special orientation programme for first year students, including international candidates in their main college building the next day at 10.
Now sitting in their hostel canteen Kalpana was wondering who were the teachers and what subjects will they teach as suddenly a loud shriek startled her.
"OMG. . did you see him. . haye he was so handsome " shouted Anya, a first year hyperactive girl.
"HE was handsome, are you kidding me..I like the other guy that was standing next to him, he was quiet but has looks of the Adonis himself" sighed Tanvi, another first year student and twin of Anya.
"Oh, leave it you two.. the one I saw in the gym was much better and hotter " winked Aarushi a second year student who has chosen electrical engineering as course here in F.I.T.E.
They were sitting at a round table in the center of the canteen, sitting across from her were the twins Anya and Tanvi and next to them were some second year girls Aarushi, Shruti and Riya.
Kalpana was shaking her head at the twins' antics which were proving to her very entertaining and at the time was feeling very difficult to control her laughter but some giggles escaped betraying her. The sound snaps girls out of their 'who's hotter' conversation and looked at Kalpana raising their eyebrows.
Muttering a sheepish 'nothing' Kalpana controlled her laughter. Suddenly a mischievous smile came across Anya's face, turning towards Kalpana
"So Kalpana you tell us. . did you find some eye candy roaming around at the campus? Anya asked jiggling her eyebrows.
"If you mean admiring various machines and instruments, then yeah, sure " a voice spoke behind them.
Anjali who was talking to her mom, briefing her about the details of the campus heard the question and came towards them. Settling herself in the empty chair beside Kalpana
"Kalpi and drooling over a boy is like Salman Khan is getting married" stated Anjali.
The word 'drooling' made her remember those beautiful eyes of the boy which she met no longer but couldn't remember.
"Hey.." Kalpana started to say, but before she could say more responses and questions started firing on her from every direction.
"what ?"
"Are you serious?"
"Are you gay?"
Too lost in her thoughts, but the last question snapped her back into the reality.
"No, I 'm perfectly straight, okay " said Kalpana hurriedly.
"It's just that I don't really fancy anyone other than my Salman Khan and even if I do found one in the near future, I want to concentrate on fulfilling my dreams first, the rest will as usually come around" said Kalpana truthfully.
It was true that she would work harder with full honesty but LOVE..? what is love. . she didn't know, what she know is the love she can feel from her precious memories of her deceased parents, the love she felt for her best friend,her confidante Anjali and always get more than she could even handle, but the love which joins two souls and has the power to consume in a very pleasant way she didn't know nor she'd have that chance to until that day when she was consumed by the very strange but
pleasant feeling where all she could think was to
help HIM. She didn't know what happened to her
that day, why was she feeling so restless, but
Nonetheless, she will not do anything to jeopardize it and will go with the flow and let things happen on their own accord.
She was distracted from her thoughts when she felt someone shaking her shoulders.
"Huh. . what happen?"
"Are you okay Kalpi, we were calling you from so long" asked Anjali concerned.
"Nothing I'm fine" Kalpana said with a smile.
Some time passed by eating a few snacks and chatting about some random topics. The only one to remain there were Kalpana, Anjali and twins as the second year girls retired for the night. Then came the main topic- The Orientation which was to be held the next day morning.
"So guys, are you excited for tomorrow?"asked Tanvi.
"Of course very excited, I'm waiting for that only as when we will be meeting our fellow students and teachers.." said Anjali.
"I read in the brochure that there will be a bus waiting for us at 9:30 outside the gates of hostel as usually the distance from bluebell to college is 15 minutes, but a bus will take us there in exactly 5" said Kalpana.
"Okay then we will meet you outside the gates at say 9:25?" asked Anya
"done"
"okay"
Plans were made and the girls bid good bye and night to each other, settled off in their respective dormitories with anxious and a little excitement for the next day.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Raghav was done knowing his hostel and was simply laying on his bed with his hands behind his head, staring up the ceiling of the room, while Sammy was by his laptop on his bed trying to see who has come (or not. He chuckled silently) at the First and secondand third place of entrance test of F.I.T.E.
"Finally"
He eagerly started seeing only to stop gaping at the list. Raghav as usual as secured rank 1 but that was old, the thing which shocked him was that not only he has secured the second place, but some other student has also secured it and what was most shocking that it was a GIRL!. He scrolled down only to see fourth position was secured by a girl again named Anjali Gupta.
He was stunned for a second and was worried what will be Raghav's reaction if he saw the list which he's sure will be happening soon.
He opened his mouth to call Raghav but no voice came out, after clearing his throat, he again tried, finally finding his voice he called out a feeble 'Raghav'.
Raghav who was watching Sammy for the past 5 minutes, was about to ask him for his abrupt silence heard his feeble call.
"What happen did you see some ghost or what?" asked Raghav coming near Sammy's bed.
Sammy not knowing what to say simply turned the laptop screen to his left where Raghav was sitting. For what a lifetime when no reply came, he turned his head only to see Raghav staring intently at the screen with his jaw clenched.
'What happened to him so suddenly?' thought Raghav but was soon provided with an answer when he saw the screen . He was satisfied when he saw his name first in the list, but soon frowned when he saw some girl has secured second place along with Sammy.
"How can this be possible, girls are good for nothing "
He was furious to see that someone disrupt their order by achieving the same rank.
"How dare she.."
He noticed the girl name was Kalpana Jhadav. He was angry at her how she disrupts their order and that too being a girl. He was sure she'd use some cheap tactics to be in this position. Without further thinking whether she is genuine or not he'd decided to make her pay, but first he wants to know who this girl is and eagerly waited for the next day to begin.
Here Raghav slept calmly without speaking another word which made Sammy surprised and more worried about what's going on in his friend's mind after his initial rather furious reaction.
