No rants just the update.. For people eager to know why Kalpi wants revenge ..you'll have to wait.. Sorry can't disclose everything at once or you won't enjoy the story..

"Ok mom.. I'll tell her.. bye and take your medicines on time", saying so Raghav hung up and looked at the glass door from where he just heard a knock..
"May I come in sir??", Kalpi said before entering the cabin..
While typing something on his laptop, "Come in Ms.Varma"..
Kalpi walked in and stood near the chair placed on the opposite side of the table.."Sir Mr.Khan has sent the deal documents.. All the clauses there in are correct except clause 55-B where they state that KS constructions will be solely responsible for any loss in the project and sir the project report on Malhotra Project you asked for is done..Here's the file"..
After some time Raghav looked up to ask Kalpi to leave but before he said anything he found her walking to the door...
With a puzzled expression ," Whoa.. Didn't see that coming.. I thought she would try to act all friendly with me .. after all she looked after my mum all these years... But here she's behaving as if nothing changed.. Nobody would've left such an opportunity.. Knowing your employer's mom so closely and still not using it to your advantage..hmm..she's different...", nodding his head slightly in amusement Raghav resumed his work..
About an hour later there was a meeting in the conference room... Raghav had called this meeting to decide about the land that was to be bought for the new project.. Technically it was his own decision but he believed that every team member's opinion mattered plus he was stuck between two choices..
Constructing a building in any of those two places was beneficial as both places had nearby Railway station and Marketplace ... One had a larger area which meant giving extra ammenities to the residents ... The other had a bit smaller area but the place was beautiful ...
After completing his explanation, "According to me it should be the larger land ... with luxurious facilities around them at such a low price they won't require natural beauty .. but I would like to know your opinion.. Which land should the company buy??"
Everyone unanimously said that the choice is obvious .. it would be the larger land .. but one voice said ,"The smaller one..".. the voice belonged to none other than Kalpi..
"Ms.Varma why do you think so??", Raghav asked while leaning forward on the table
Other people stared at her.. Kalpi knew that the bigger land was near Singhaania chawl near which there were other chawls too...
"Sir.. the area near the larger land has many chawls.. during any festival there'll be a lot of noise in that area... amenities may give the residents comfort but it won't help them when the place will be surrounded by loud speakers"
That was really unexpected.. this girl for the second time had proved herself superior to Raghav Singhaania..first time it was a mistake delibrately made by Raghav (presentation waala) and now he had actually missed that part in site inspection..
Applauding at her choice Raghav said," Very good Ms.Varma..
Ok so everyone back to your seats..", and he left the room and so did everyone else...
Kalpi stood up and stared at the door thinking,"Did he just praise me??"... that was the last thing she would expect from her khadoos boss who was so arrogant that he didn't even look up when she had come to his cabin to drop by the files earlier this morning and now he actually appreciated her instead of glaring at her for opposing his choice..

Kalpi was just about to get in the cab and go when she felt someone hold her hand.. She looked up to see Raghav standing there.. He immediately let go of her hand as she looked at him with questioning eyes .
Raghav- Mom has asked you to join us for dinner"
Kalpi- "Sir.. umm..."
Raghav- (Understanding that she's feeling uncomfortable as he is her boss ) (With a smile) Please don't think that I'm your boss and all that.. my mom is close to you.. so for her...(with a pause) if you don't mind..
Kalpi just nodded her head in approval.. After telling the cabbie to leave she followed Raghav to his car..
"What is he??", Kalpi thought as she looked at him from the corner of her eye while he was driving... "Till today he was so strict and a total akdoo khadoos... and then he actually praised me... and now he said please.. Really this guy's so weird..."
During the whole ride neither of them spoke to each other..

At Raghav's apartment..
Gauri- (While serving food to Kalpi) Till Pakya comes back you're coming here for dinner every night...
Kalpi- But..
Gauri- No excuses.. I know you don't like eating alone... And I'll also get an excuse to meet you..
Kalpi- Excuse??
Gauri- I know .. we earlier had decided that after Kapoors return from their vacation I''ll be living with you but Raghav wants me to stay with him .. here..
Hearing that Kalpi's face saddened a bit.. After she and pakya left the chawl Gauri had taken mother's place in Kalpi's life.. even after coming back to Mumbai Kamla used to visit them only on important occassions as her frequent visits would've increased the chances of blowing up their cover of Varma family..and the mother's love that Kalpi craved for since childhood was showered in ample amount by Gauri and now she too won't be there with her..
Gauri noticed it..While pulling kalpi's cheek she said,"Now don't you be happy that I won't be there to scold you for not having food and staying awake till late night working.. I'll have my spies after you.."..
Thereafter the trio enjoyed their dinner and Kalpi & Gauri cleared up the table after that.. It was very late so Gauri asked Raghav to drop Kalpi home...

There was pin drop silence in the car ... At home Kalpi pretended to be normal but she was still sad that she won't have Gauri with her .. She masked it in front of Gauri but now she felt there was no more the need to do that...She knew this was bound to happen one day but never expected the day to come so soon... When Raghav took Gauri the previous day she didn't give much thought to the topic as she thought that after some days Gauri will be back but now she had to stay alone..
Raghav on the other hand felt bad for Kalpi.. he knew the pain of staying away from loved ones.. he very well knew the awful feeling of loneliness..
'You can meet mom whenever you feel like..",Raghav said... Kalpi just gave him a weak smile and said,"Thanks but..."..
Raghav- I know.. how it feels to live alone..
Kalpi- (In a sad tone) Me too..
A tear escaped from her eye as she remembered her Mom and Dad.. their once upon a time happy family..She immediately wiped it which didn't go unnoticed by Raghav..Raghav placed his hand on hers and gave her a reassuring look..
They reached Kalpi's apartment ... Bidding farewell Kalpi walked away as Raghav stared at her retreating figure...
Feelings had started brewing up inside these two strong-headed people's heart... One had atleast realised their existence though failed to recognise them while the other was still unknown to their presence..
Both failed to see how their so-called guards went down in each others' presence... A Khadoos Singhaania became a caring Singhaania while the girl who never let herself feel weak had shown her vulnerable side to her own enemy..
