Happy Independence Day my sweet hearts...

A week passed after Kalpi came back to Mumbai ... Kalpi was as usual having her afternoon me-time sitting alone near her room window... the only thing that changed was that now she just couldn't stop smiling... She was smiling thinking about that night when Raghav did so much efforts just to apologise to her... Then she blushed on thinking about their dance...
"O hello... Ms.I-am-smiling-without-reason AGAIN...",Raj said as he snapped his fingers in front of Kalpi's eyes bringing her out of her memory lane...
Coming out of her trance Kalpi said stammerring a little..."Huh... Ya... Ya.. "
Raj- Sweetheart if you're done with your daydreaming then we need to go for shopping...
Kalpi- Ya ok fine... (Holding his collar ) I wasn't daydreaming...
Raj- (Removing her hand ) Ok... chill... you weren't (in low voice ) just like you're not lying now...
Kalpi- What?? What did you say???
Raj- Nah... nothing... go get ready ... I'm waiting in the car...
Kalpi- Ok fine..
Kalpi got up and went to get ready while Raj went downstairs to wait in his car...

"It's very heavy", Kalpi said as she rejected yet another dress...
Kalpi-"Raj... yeh Maya di kaha reh gayi... She was supposed to be here half an hour ago..."
Raj- (Turning her around by holding her shoulder) See there she is...
And Kalpi saw Maya enter the shop with a guy..."Raghav", Kalpi said as she saw Raghav come along with Maya..
Maya came near the duo ,"That's my would-be sis-in-law Kalpana and that's Raj... And guys he is my cousin Raghav... "...
Before Kalpi could say anything Raj held his hand forward and shook hands with Raghav.. then he said to Maya," Thank god Maya you came or else you would've found my dead body here as KJ here was boring me to death..."..Kalpi gave Raj an angry glare and took Maya to the counter ...
After sometime Prem too joined them and all got busy in shopping... Maya and Prem were busy teasing each other as they selected dresses for each other while Raj stood in between Raghav and Kalpi having convo with both while helping Kalpi select dresses for different functions ...
Kalpi couldn't choose a single dress and said to the shopkeeper ,"Nah ... I don't like these heavy dresses... show me some lehengas..."... While placing his hand over Kalpi's shoulder Raj said ,"Do one thing ... show all the dresses you've in your shop ... If possible get some from neighbouring shops too... then our Ms.Choosy would be happy..."..."Shut up yaar Raj",Kalpi said while playfully hitting his arm...
The sweet talks and hitting of the friends was making Raghav burn in jealousy... He went to a side while talking to someone on the phone...
Kalpi couldn't choose a dress so she decided to buy earrings first... she moved the small mirror placed on the table to see which earrings suited her...Raj was standing at some distance away as he too was choosing a sherwaani for himself...
Kalpi tried different earrings but she was still not able to choose which one would look best.. she picked up a small pearl earrings and Raghav saw that... Kalpi had by-mistake or fortunately arranged the mirror such that Raghav was visible in it.. Raghav nodded in a no while Kalpi placed the earrings on her ear... then she picked up traditional jhumkas..Raghav nodded in a yes... "Pack these",Kalpi said to the shopkeeper..
After choosing jewellry Kalpi moved onto dresses... She asked Raghav through her eyes which she should wear and Raghav helped her to choose dresses in same manner... She was done with shopping and trying the dresses for all functions except marriage...
She picked up a yellow with orange colour lehenga and looked into the mirror to ask Raghav's opinion but Raghav wasn't there... She turned to see where Raghav was but there was no sign of him... Just then a salesgirl came to Kalpi and handed her a Red-coloured saree... "Who gave this??",Kalpi asked her.. "That person",the girl pointed at Raghav who was standing with Maya...
They exchanged silent thankyou and my pleasure which unknow to them was observed by Raj..."Daal mein kuch kaala hai",Raj thought as he rubbed his chin in detective style..

The whole Jadhav family with Raj was busy in unwrapping the shopped stuff while arrangemnts were going on for mehendi..."Aaj kal humaare KJ ke choices kaafi badal rahe hai",Raj said as she showed Kamla the saree Kalpi bought... "The girl who hated sarees and thought them to be uncomfortable has bought it to wear at her brother's wedding...waah bhai waah..."
Kamla- (Looking at the saree) The saree is beautiful beta ... by the way from when did you started liking sarees..?? I know you wore that saree I gave just because I gifted it and your sir had asked you to wear something traditional...
Kalpi- Its nothing like that... I just thought to wear something different at bhai's wedding...
Raj- (Narrowing his eyebrows) You thought or someone else made you think so... hmmm??? (To Kamla) Aunty you know today we met Maya's cousin Raghav (stressing on the name)
Kalpi's heart unknowingly skipped a beat on hearing Raghav's name... She excused herself from their which grew Raj's suspicion ..."Definately kuch to gadbad hai",He thought...
Kalpi got busy in checking the decoration for next day's mehendi as Raj sneakily got hold of her cell-phone... He read all the text messages sent by Raghav ... Though they weren't romantic by any angle... but his detective mind said that his best friend liked Raghav and the only thing that would confirm it was... The weapon that would make love-birds do weirdest things...Jealousy...
