In JBHJ, Katrina used to offer something to God and make a promise and she broke her promise which led to Shahrukh's accident. Kalpana her is praying to Kamla to pray to Bappa but Kamla refused to listen and said she will pray only for Pakhi's suhaag. Kalpana will not leave Raghav as Bappa also wants Ragna to be with each other.

haven't seen the episode yet so isliye confusion hai but in JTHJ meera broke some promise isliye samar ka accident hua tha...mujhe yaad nahi hai i think will have to watch the movie again i thought ki aise hi samar ka accident hogaya tha and as u said meera always use to offer something to God when she prays so she made that promise she will never meet samar

It's just like we tell God to give us something in exchange of something.

Meera earlier did not want to get engaged to a buy and so she told God to break her engagement and in exchange she will give up smoking.

Then on coming to know about her mother's betrayal to her dad, she decided to leave Samar as her Dad has gone through many things to bring her up.

Meera then asked God for something (I do not remember what 😆) and in exchange, she will leave Samar and forge him.

God gave her that something (I do not remember what 😆).

Samar then made Meera realize that her mother was not wrong and then again she loved Samar and started staying with him.

This way she broke her promise with God and hence Samar's accident.

Then again she went to God and asked to make him OK and in exchange she will leave him forever.
