Vihaan thought of her often. Her tear filled eyes seemed to haunt him. Those beautiful eyes were not made for tears, they should have held a smile which he had seen in the photograph. He had totally given up on his plans for revenge, which even he realized was silly. He could not add to more pain in her life. He wanted to know what had caused so much pain in her life, but she was not his friend or confidant to open up.

It really surprised him that he had actually met her only twice and talked to her for less than 5 minutes in total and he felt a strange sort of bond with her. He had never had this kind of feeling before and he was not sure whether he liked it. "Maybe he was just intrigued by her", he thought. It could be just because she was not like any other girl he had ever met. She was a child, a women, vulnerable , strong, all at the same time.

In order to get away from thoughts of Kalpana, he started going out with other girls. The hottest girls in the city were out there vying for his attention and he decided to enjoy the company. He went out clubbing and partying, but he could still not get her out of his thoughts.

Malhotra industries was a conglomerate with diversified interests in Telecom, electronics, IT, FMCG etc. Mr.Malhotra was currently working on starting up a new high-end cosmetics company which would use Indian herbal and ayurvedic ingredients. It was his dream project and it was his plan to bring India to the world through Cosmetics. This is the reason Vihaan had been asked to come down to India. The research laboratories had been up for years now and he had finally been happy with the results. The patents had been done and the factory had started production. Mr.Malhotra wanted the perfect launch for the company in Indian as well as International Market.

Mr.Malhotra called Vihaan for a meeting. He said "Beta, everything seems to be going smoothly with the production, but we need to plan a perfect entry into the market. I want this campaign to be most expensive, sophisticated and polished marketing campaign to ever be done from India. I want you to take care of this and I am confident that you will make it a success." Vihaan confidently said"I will not let you down". Mr.Malhotra then went ahead and outlined his plan of action. "I have shortlisted a team of best of the marketing personnel from our group of companies. You can interview them and decide which of them you want in your team. Being from different fields they will give you multiple points of view and you can get the best results." Vihaan nodded and said that he trusted his dad and his instincts and he did not need to interview anyone. Vihaan said" Dad I need to start work on this immediately, how soon can team join me leaving their present responsibilities?". His dad smiled seeing his son's impatience. " The team will ready tomorrow if you need them ".Great dad, we can start tomorrow at 9.00". "I will get my secretary to call and fix the meeting".

Vihaan was very excited about the new assignment. He loved the sense of challenge of a new project. He knew this project was a dream project for his dad and it was about showcasing India's secrets for the world. His father had always supported him and he wanted to make his dream come true.

He woke early with a great sense of anticipation. He could feel it in his bones, that it was going to be a great day. He was whistling when he got dressed and he smiled at himself.

He reached the office early and entered his cabin and got his notes ready for the meeting. It was just 8.30, but he decided to go into the conference room to check on its readiness.

He opened the door to conference room and was taken aback to see an unexpected sight. Kalpana was sitting on one of the chairs. Her head was down and she was thoroughly engrossed in reading some material. It had been days since he had seen her and had congratulated himself on getting over his obsession with her. But seeing her again brought over a wave of feeling within him. He gazed at her taking in her appearance completely. She was dressed in a very simple white salwar suit, with a tie and die dupatta. Her long hair was falling over her cheeks and almost covering her face, but he could still visualize the big doe eyes.

She had still not noticed his appearance. He walked into the room and softly said "Hello". She was startled and she dropped the notes she was reading and looked up at him with surprise. Her eyes bewitched him again. Today her Kohl lined eyes were sparkling and did not have that aura of sadness and they took his breath away with its beauty. She softly replied "Hello". She really had a soft melodious voice which he had not noticed before. But how would he notice it, he had not really spoken to her before. She bent down to pick up her notes and he got engrossed in watching her beautiful swan like neck and her perfect back. He suddenly thought "Man, you need to get a grip, don't act like a hormonal teenager".
