As for leaving her at the altar, he must have known how she would feel. I think he doesn't get how his actions would affect the family...

Though, I am wondering about not telling her beforehand... Is it that Kalpi just skipped his mind or ...?? (he can be single-minded after all) The time span from when he found his mother, the haldi, Paakhi scene.. are a bit confusing.. Moreover, the editing is off.. its like the cvs are playing solve the puzzle with us.

Besides the circumstances which moulded Raghav into a revenge seeking but lonely individual were somewhat different from the circumstances due to which Kalpi felt lonely due to the lack of her mother's love. She still had Vitthal & Pakiya to support her. But for Raghav for so many years, the sole reason of his life was to sek revenge & destroy Kapoors, that even when he didn't know that the reason of his father's death and lack of mother's love was Sahil only. Till now Raghav only thought Kapoors had taken all his father's property, but he didn;t know that Sahil was also responsible for Raghav being forced to lead an orphaned & lonely life. This sudden knowledge certainly opened old wounds, bringing back his aim of life infront of him again, and with a force he couldn't handle. Not to forget he must also be feeling guilty for hating his mother all his life!So, for a person who had spent his entire life seeking revenge from Kapoors, he couldn't possible move forward and keep Kalpi happy till he had not avenged what was done to him & his family. Raghav was always shown to be believing in healing old wounds, or hurts before starting afresh, thats why he had also re-evaluated Kalpana's papers.

Like you said, the only thing I cannot digest or understand is that why the hell he didn't inform Kalpana, or call her about cancellation of marriage. This fact that he was so blind that he couldn't even think of informing Kalpana, or at least meet her for 5 mins personally ad tell her everything, doesnt make sense. What he did eventually, made Kalpana & her family wait the entire day for him at havan kund of marriage. tue his revenge was far more important for him, but not informing Kalpana before hand or even attempting it even once, kind of makes him more of a criminal.

True what he did is not right but maybe in his mind he has justified it as this is my first step, I take revenge and when it's done I go back to my love.

He didn't think it through especially the emotional side of it, he never thought

What will Kalpi go through Will she accept him after this especially since he's using an innocent girl for revenge What will the Jadhav family go through The consequences of the cancelled marriage on Kalpi emotional psyche
1. How Kalpi and the Jadhav family will be socially mocked & ostracized

I guess now he'll realize the enormous consequences of his actions and wonder why he didn't consider it before rashly acting out irrationally

Yes, the environment they both grew up in were entirely different. There were different rules at play. Kalpi wasn't aversive to people in general. She just had one issue with her relationship with her mother and the experience of being forced down by rich people. Raghav doesn't trust humans in general. From his mindset and behaviour, one can assume that he must have had bad experiences with people after his property just like Sahil n co. You are spot on when you said he would be feeling guilty also. All these emotions must have bombarded him, driving him to act recklessly. And yes, some people just cant be at peace and enjoy anything in life until they have taken care of an issue. What I felt is that all these emotions could have been better portrayed with better scenes and editing, not to mention, expressions. The audience would have been able to relate to him better.
