Again, I am not saying he's right. Of course he had no right to hurt the people who didn't wrong him and Kalpi who loved him.
Raghav was and is a grey character. He didn't really care much for anyone but his own motive. He didn't even know how to treat his friend properly. He is anti-social in the sense that he lacks empathy and often doesn't understand how people feel and doesn't conform to social norms. All his time overseas, he must have been feeding his anger on Sahil and finally came back to carry out his revenge. He wanted to use Pakhi for his revenge even earlier. How? I don't know. So, from this aspect, it really isn't out of character. It's ugly yes, but is it unlike Raghav? I would say not really.

Hi guys, am new here. I have made several comments but this is the first post I'm opening. So take this as my formal introduction š
I am by no means justifying Raghav but simply sharing what I see, so bear with me. šToday Raghav proved that a person cannot change their perspectives, beliefs and personality so fast. He is what he is. He is passionate, one minded, calculative, shrewd, stubborn n much more... He did come to India solely for revenge. Yes, he fell in love with Kalpi and that feeling overwhelmed him, causing his revenge to be side-tracked. And he slowly tried changing his perspectives and adopting hers, but he hasn't changed for good. He was only in the process. He has been holding a grudge on the Kapoors for so long, and revenge is like a drug. It blinds you, until you would do anything to achhive it. Usually by destroying themselves. Now, finding his mother and knowing that Sahil had killed his father and separated him from his parents, has reopened his wound. His anger is intensified and to add to the flame, his mother had so vehemently asked him to snatch everything Sahil loves and destroy him. And, in my opinion, Sahil does love his daughter (he always gave in to Kamla for Paaki's sake) and well, wealth. So he married or fake married his daughter and got Sahils property. So, now the question we all are asking; "is love more important than revenge?" Well, in his head, he's not choosing revenge over love but revenge over marriage. š He feels he needs to handle his revenge first, and only then he can move on in life. Just like how he felt Kalpi's exam issue should be cleared first before she moves to the next phase of her life. He views things as separate from each other, not how they may affect each other. He doesn't have much care apart from that Kalpi should know that he still loves her. Moreover, Raghav lacks emotional intelligence; he only sees weakness and how he can use it against them. See how he was trying to justify his move to Kalpi as if she would pat him on the back and give him a hug. š
