The moment they are close their desire overtakes them as for them they just cant wait to keep their hand off each other and want to just melt away in each others arms. They want to take their relationship to the next level and what is pushing them is that every time they get interrupted. No more holding hands as they have crossed that level and want to just feel and explore each other.
