First Dance after Parents Approval

I found it very unrealistic that the first thing after getting approval of Kalpi's Parents, Raghav & Kalpi are dancing with another person. I would have thought that they would be desperate to be in the company of each other and first thing they would want, would be to dance with each other. At least that's normally what happens with real life couple.
I would have preferred the first dance partner to be Raghav and Kalpi , then if Sammy devarji wanted to cut in later, fine.
I also think that when Kalpi was dancing, she should have kept her lovely high heel shoes she wore earlier and not those flat sandals.
