Chapter 5: Selfish love.

Sammy soberly opens the door and welcomes their guest in. He asks the guest to have seat, whilst he goes to get Raghav. He walks towards Ragav with a heavy heart, he felt like he was walking to the gallows. He wishes he didn't have to do this. "Ragav had just decided to let go of his past and had just welcomed happiness into his life." He thinks to himself. Ragav upon hearing footstep, turns around with a carefree smile, takes one look at Sammy and anxiously says "What's wrong?" With a grim look Sammy says "Mr. Dayal is downstairs..." Ragav quickly gets up and rushes downstairs.

Sammy thanks Mr Dayal for coming over and asks him to continue with the investigations. He closes the door, turns around and looks at Raghav; his eyes brimming with unshed tears. He looks at the shattered glass on the floor and thinks to himself "How poetic? The shards of glass represent Ragav's present state."

Ragav lost in deep thought, tries to comprehend what he just heard, what his heart is denying. Deep down he knows that Mr. Dayal's report is accurate and there are no errors. His mind filters through his memories as he recollects the conversations he has had with Kalpi regarding her tai.

Sammy quietly and patiently waits for when Ragav will need him; for...

Today he found out that Kalpi's tai, is his mother...

Today he found out that his mother never left him...

Today he found out that his mother is a victim too, just like his father...

Today he found out that somebody wants to kill his mother too...

Today he found out his mother is alive because of Kamla maa...

A broken Ragav takes his phone and makes a call... he utters just one word "KALPI".

It was late in the night, Kalpi is sitting in the courtyard, venting out her anger... she just can't believe her aai; when her phone rings. She looks at her phone angrily and sees Ragav's name, her face softens, her eyes fill with love and smilingly she answers the phone. She hears just one word "Kalpi" and instinctively knows that something is seriously wrong. She answers "I shall be right over" and hangs up. Without any hesitancy she runs out of the courtyard, hails a rikshaw and goes to Ragav, her only thought is that Ragav needs me.

Sammy lets Kalpi into the house and leaves, knowing that he is no longer needed for Kalpi is Ragav's balm. She will take care of him. Kalpi runs to Ragav and envelopes him in a bear hug, trying to sooth him for she can feel the pain emanating from him. For how long they stood like that she does not know... it could have been minutes or hours. Ragav slowly lifts his head from her shoulder looks into her eyes and without a word kisses her. He pours out all his emotions into her during their kiss. He stops, looks into her eyes and carries her into his bedroom.

Ragav knows what he is doing is wrong. He Knows there is no tomorrow for them, but he needs her.

Kalpi is so taken away by the emotions she senses from Ragav, allows him to do so secure in his love and with the knowledge that they have tomorrow.

Plz don't separate ragna for any reasons
