Frankly speaking Sejal, I feel like it's the character that really got me hooked to them. I love them both because of the depth they share. I am not that easily attached, and though I love RagNa, I won't say that I can't see Kalpi with anyone else. It's as you said though, I just can't see Raghav with anyone else. I feel like one of the reasons that I like them both so much is because their relationship is so substantial. That means that if CVs showed her with anyone else with so much substance, then I may have liked them too----may have lol
I personally think that Kalpi came as a light in Raghav's world. That's why, I can't see someone else with Raghav. She's the reason that he started seeing the light and happiness in everything. She's the reason that he started living. I don't want someone else to take that place. I feel like she's the one who deserves it the most.
Yes, Prem is shallow and I honestly don't like him at all but I can bet if he ever truly falls for Kalpi (and I hope that never happens) then he will definitely turn into a character with a lot of substance. That's the reason I don't want him to fall for her. I feel like if he did become someone of substance and not just the spoiled, rich brat out to get the world because he thinks he's got everyone at his feet then I may like him (but my love for RagNa would always over-rule!). Oh, and let's not forget how I absolutely hate those storylines where girls fall for absolute jerks who don't give them time of the day.
Initially I thought Raghav was too rude to her. Those days, I wanted her to end up with someone like Sammy because I don't like jerks getting the girl (and Sammy can really make anyone smile). I didn't like how he was so angry at her all the time (though I understood his anger), and I rejoiced at the fact that Kalpi didn't give him the time of the day. Don't get me wrong. Now, I absolutely love the fact that he is trying to change for her, and has changed already. He proved to her that his hard exterior was to shield himself and now he's trying to show her all of his weak sides in order to make her believe that she's it for him. I think this is the reason that I love him. I love the character of Raghav as a whole - his past, his struggles, his dilemmas, and his fights. He is incomplete with even one part of him missing. I don't think I can love Prem or Sammy the same because their character hasn't been build with so much substance. This is what I love in a character and this is what I am seeing.
Oh and let's not forget the Chemistry!! Their chemistry is so apparent to non-viewers. I still remember the first time I saw EMA GIF after the leap (because I had left the show due to studies). I didn't know that it was RagNa post leap but I could feel the chemistry and I wanted to try it out. Plus, I have seen the actress before in SP so was curious lol.
You mentioned that Kalpi doesn't get jealous (or did someone else mention that?) but I think that's because she's still new. I feel like she barely acknowledged her feelings, and she will surely show that possessive side of her when the time comes. Right now, She knows that she's the one that Raghav wants. She knows and is content by his assurances. There will also come a time when Raghav will be on the same page when it comes to security regarding their relationship. We will just have to wait for that to happen.
