I need clarification first -

Why do they keep saying Raghav is self made? Well it sounds good for his image. But he is successful due to hard work but didn't he inherit plenty from his dad or did Kapoors snatch it all away? There was a power of attorney mentioned, what was that about?

Didn't Kalpana sell her laptop to bribe the official to reevaluate her papers?

All this is somewhere proving.. that his term self-made man.. and stuff if SHOW OFF.. (Anum.. hidding face from you..) but yes..!! It was hell lot that Singhaniya left him.. and unless he had spent all that of his dad in his own education in USA, and then re earned it.. that's different story..!!
But so much that he can afford his trips in helicopter.. and 4-5 different cars... (though lately it's just 1, black big one..) and plus that spacious house of Raghav... with things from all over the world.. highly unacceptable.. it's all self-earned..!! How much of it is seen in Raghav..?? who throws away 5 glasses ka set if 1 breaks??? See.. the difference between RagNa themselves...!! Kalpana.. knows the value of money earned in hardest way.. i loved how she looked at price tag and decided that it's not an idea to buy it..!! in addition to it.. even when Paakhi-Kalpi went shopping after they got salary.. see the difference between **SELF MADE** and **INHERITED** richness..!!
Kalpi would be self-made, if she doesn't depend on Singhaniya wealth and works hard to prove herself..!!

So... it's just another way of Raghav to use Kalpi's mind set to impress her.. he choses his words very carefully... unless he gets attack.. (like he saw house in mess..) but.. he knows exacly what will impress kalapana.. while talking to her..!! and it works for raghav..!!😉😉

well whatever raghav is today is due to himself. His father was declared bankrupt when he died out of heart attack .kappors were chasing him for whatever non liquid cash in form of property raghav had in his name which he would get after being major

kapoors had trapped him hard .but he ran away from them from country just to make himself better and come back with a bang...he always had fire in himself to prove that his father was always right.

he had seen his fathers business crumbling and his father breaking from within ,seeing him murdered with no clue of his mother did kill the child in him right at the age of twelve and all he had left in himself was to prove that his father was no looser.

his father was bankrupt enough to pay the debts and may be the property he had must be not salable at that time , so basically raghav had nothing and he started from zero and then slowly things would have come ,like with passing time his property worth increased plus his own business made him one of the richest .

so when he says whatever he is and whatever he has is his earning , then he is right coz he did earn his worth and money and more came to him with time

Sej, per me just by inheriting money doesn't make you rich forever if you cannot maintain it thus the hardwork-!! Of course he had a strong basis to start with, but that doesnt mean he sat on his bum and allowed things to run its course, because if he did, he wouldnt be where he is today. He had to subdue his loneliness and grief thus he invested his entire life in making a name for himself. Singhania died and left behind a young boy who had no-one to guide nor protect him .He had to do everything himself and he did.
