Chap 27

Kalpana wakes up in the morning and notices that she was sleeping holding Raghav's hand and Raghav's another hand is resting on her hand. She gets embarrassed and leaves Raghav's hand. Her movement wakes Raghav. Raghav notices Kalpana's discomfort and moves his hand. Kalpana gets up and leaves the bed. Raghav looks at her retorting figure and then looks at his hand. He remembers the moment when she held his hand tightly in her sleep. A smile appears on his face remembering the way Kalpana held his hand possessively but his smile disappears seeing Kalpana who is avoiding any eye contact with him after discovering that she had held his hand in the sleep. Kalpana comes out of bathroom after taking bath and leaves the room without looking at Raghav.

Days pass by. Kalpana is getting comfortable in Raghav's home. She is thankful to Raghav, Pakhi and gouri aunty who had supported her immensely to adjust in the new house and also to maintain work life balance. Neel and Hiya share a great bond with Raghav and Trisha. Kalpana and pakhi still hesitate to talk with each other but their children become best friends.

Kalpana could not help but wonder seeing Raghav's caring side. She was unaware of Raghav's this side. Raghav surprised her when he informed him that he got information about a Dr. Alex who is researching on coma patient and he had arranged everything for purba's treatment. Rahul is now in Australia for Purba's treatment. She remembers the moment when Rahul thanked Raghav whole heartedly. But still she is not comfortable around Raghav. She and Raghav hardly communicate with each other when they are alone and in last few days, often they ended up being together alone. Today is one of those days. Gouri aunty had taken children for some cartoon movie. Sammy and pakhi had taken full advantage of this situation and gone for a romantic date. Kalpana and raghav both came home early. Now they are having their tea and searching for a topic to converse. They start talking about Kalpana's college project. Then Raghav's hospital project became their topic of conversation. Then Kalpana starts talking about her PA Mrs. Sharma's antics and asks him about his PA Jiya. Raghav informs her that Jiya is a very hard working girl and he is happy that she has found her real love in Prem though Prem is not ready to accept his feelings. Kalpana looks at him with confusion. Raghav explains how Prem saved Jiya from her drunkard husband and helped her to free herself from a bad marriage. Jiya fell in love with Prem and so is Prem but Prem is a stupid idiot who is not ready to listen to his heart. Pakhi had tried a lot to make Prem accept his love but he said he is too old for Jiya.

Kalpana's face gleams with mischievous smile- Don't worry I will plan something that Prem will accept his feelings openly . Now you wait and watch what your Kalpi will do?' Kalpana's face is beaming with childish happiness. Raghav could not help but admire her beautiful childish smile. Yes, she is an angle who is ready to help the person who had hurt her once and what did she say- Your Kalpi'. Raghav is on cloud nine after hearing these words and being unaware of the effect of her own words, Kalpana starts formulating plan to make Prem accept his feelings and an idea struck her. She screams in happiness and hugs Raghav . Raghav gets perplexed by her behaviour at first but then starts enjoying the closeness. He is about to hug her back when Kalpana realises that she is hugging Raghav. She leaves Raghav disappointing him. On top of it, she announces that she will take help from Samrat to execute the plan. She is about to call Samrat when Raghav holds her hand.

Raghav - Why are you calling Samrat? I am here to help you'

Kalpana - No...You will not like my plan Raghav and you will not be able to do it.

Raghav - Tell me first then let me decide whether I like ur plan and not and for ur kind information, you are talking with Mr. Raghav Singhania who can do anything'

Kalpana - Ok. I am telling u plan my plan' and Kalpana explains her plan.

Raghav - are u sure it will work. It is a stupid plan'

Kalpana - Don't you dare to call my plan stupid? You will not be able to do it. I will talk to Samrat. He will help me in my plan'.

Kalpana is about to leave when Raghav holds her hand and said - I will do as you say'. Kalpana looks at him and so is Raghav. Their eye lock session would have lasted longer but Children's voice broke their trance and Kalpana leaves from there getting embarrassed and frustrating Raghav. Raghav goes to bar. He drinks thinking Kalpana's uneasiness whenever he is around. Why can't Kalpana see love for her in his gestures? Whenever she mistakenly touches him, she withdraws herself like she has touched something untouchable. His closeness does not affect her. He gets drunk and goes to his room. He does not find Kalpna in the room.

Kalpana is preparing hiya and neel' bed when Raghav enters into the room. Children are at downstairs. Raghav comes closer to Kalpana and Kalpana gets panicked by this closeness and she senses Raghav is drunk. Kalpana have not seen Raghav drinking after their marriage and seeing him drunk, she gets angry. She moves far from him and speaks - are you drunk Raghav? Do you know how it will effect on children?' Raghav speaks - They are downstairs with mom and they will stay with her only today. Now you are happy with my drinking'. Raghav is angry and Kalpana can sense it but she does not find any reason for his anger. Raghav is dangerously close to her. Kalpana starts moving back and Raghav moves forward. Kalpana's back hits the wall and she is about to move from there when Raghav traps her by placing his hands at her both sides.

Kalpana and Raghav can feel each other's breath. Kalpana is feeling uncomfortable with this closeness but she does not protest and prepares herself to submit to his desire. Raghav looks at Kalpana's expressions and sees she is closing her eyes. He understands. He gets angry. Indeed he is right, Kalpana does not trust him a bit. Their relation is just a compromise for her and it will remain same. He hits his hand on wall hard shocking Kalpana. Raghav's hand is bleeding. Kalpana panics and speaks - why did you hurt yourself, Raghav. It must be paining'. Kalpana goes to get first aid box and comes to Raghav . She tries to hold his hand when Raghav jerks her hand off. Kalpana again tries to hold his hand - let me bandage your wound raghav it is bleeding.'

It is not bleeding more than my heart, Kalpi . My heart is bleeding seeing your lack of trust on me. I had hurt you once and I am still regretting for it. But I know you will never believe me. You will never believe that I love u. I am waiting for your love from last 10 years. But you don't love me. Ok, you don't have to love me but at least trusts me a little. I know you will never trust me .' Raghav loses his consciousness after blabbering. Kalpana bandages his wound and places a kiss on his forehead. She self thinks - I want to trust u raghav. But it is not easy for me to trust you and it is hurting me more than you. I want to see you happy. I don't want to see you in the guilt but I myself reminds you the past. I am unable to forget it. You have just confessed that you love me and my heart wants to believe it but my mind is not ready to accept it. My heart is saying you are telling truth but my mind is saying you are drunk.

Lovely update Sanjh! Raghav and Kalpi are coming closer but she's not ready to accept it. It is hurting him that she recoils whenever he is near her. He wants her to trust him and love him as before. She knows it but her past is stopping her from doing so. Loved how she unconsciously hugged him while thinking of the plan. Also 'your Kalpi ' slipped out of her mouth. Hope love blossoms between them again. Maybe by helping Prem to realise his love for Jiya, ragna may come closer.
