Chap 10 :
Sammy calls Kalpana and Samrat to his cabin.
Sammy : Ms. Yadav, you will work in finance department and you will directly report to Mr. Singhania
Kalpana : Ok, sir.
Sammy notices Kalpana but does not find a single glimpse of hesitancy in her eyes. Her face is
expressionless.
Sammy self thinks : Raghav you have to struggle a lot to earn this girl's forgiveness.
Sammy : and Mr. Samrat you will work at our production site as supervisor, you will directly report to me. Now you can leave for our production site.
Samrat : oh sure Mr. raizada.
Kalpana and Samrat come out of Raghav's cabin.
Samrat : It is all their plan, Kalpi. They bought this company so that they can torture us.bloody jerks.
Kalpana : why are u giving them so much importance, Samrat. we are here for our work. now just go to ur work.
Samrat leaves from there and Raghav calls Kalpana to his cabin to talk about some financial strategy. Kalpana comes to Raghav's cabin.
Raghav : Please take a seat Ms. Yadav. I want u to understand the new financial strategy of our company.
Raghav starts explaining the strategy and Kalpana starts taking notes of importante points. Raghav intentionally makes mistakes while dictating the strategy but Kalpana keeps mum. Raghav is becoming restless as she is not giving him any response.
Raghav : what is your view about our new strategy, Miss Yadav.
Kalpana : What can I say u Mr. Singhania, You always plan everything perfectly. Your strategies never fail.
Raghav's face falls as he gets the underlying meaning of Kalpana's words. Kalpana stand up and tries to leave the cabin when Raghav asks her to stop.
Raghav : Kalpana why are u punishing me so much? Please forgive me.
Kalpana laughs: Mr. Singhania you are asking forgiveness from a wrong person. I am very small infront of u. It does not suit u to ask sorry from a mere employee. You did not do anything different from other rich man. you just treated me as any other rich man would have treated me If his grlfriend would have died after uttering my name.
Saying so, Kalpana leaves from his cabin leaving behind a hurt Raghav but she does not care to look back to him.
Sammy notices Kalpana coming out from Raghav's cabin and he goes to Raghav's cabin to meet him and finds him distraught.
Sammy : What happened Raghav ?
Raghav(in sad tone) : I don't know this Kalpana Sammy.
Sammy : Raghav, we are responsible for it. We should give her some time to compose herself.
Raghav : her laugh and her words are still ringing in my ears, Sammy. her voice was calm but her every word was filled with venom.
Sammy : We had filled this venom in her life and she is giving us that back. let me talk to her once so that I can make her understand everything.
Sammy approaches to Kalpana's desk and finds her talking with an employee happily. There is no trace of regret in her eyes.
Sammy : I want to talk to u Miss Yadav. come to my cabin.
Kalpana : But sir, I don't report to u.and I have already reported to Mr. Singhania.
Sammy : It is important Kalpana, come to my cabin immediately.
Kalpana follows Sammy to his cabin.
Sammy : Kalpana , We have done a mistake in our anger and we are sorry for it. Please forgive me and raghav. We can't live with this guilt anymore.
Kalpana : Mr. Raizada, I come here for my work, not to hear my boss's guilt story. If u want to talk
about any work, tell me otherwise I am leaving.
Sammy : Can't u see pain in Raghav's eyes, Kalpana.
Kalpana smiles : I have weak eyesight Mr. Raizada. and once I ended up believing things that really did not exist. Now, I don't trust my eyes.
Saying so, Kalpana leaves Sammy's cabin.
Kalpana self thinks : These people are never going to change. They are pretending as if they are
striving for my forgiveness.Bloody hypocrites. Why don't they leave me alone. May be if I don't see
their face for 5-10 year, I will forget everything
Kalpana remembers something and calls her Dada :Hello.. Dada, what are u doing?
Pakya : I am working, Kalpu.
Kalpana : Please take ur lunch on time. yesterday, you did not have lunch.
Pakya : I was busy yesterday.
Kalpana : I don't know anything. Just take ur lunch on time otherwise I also skip my meal.
Pakya : Don't behave like a child.
Kalpana : Dada please, take care of urself.
Kalpana cuts the call.
In Rahul's home:
Purba : everything is ready, Ria.
Ria : yes bhabs. Today is thursday. We will leave tomorrow night and will be back here by monday
morning. I have taken permission from Vittal uncle or you can say it is vittal uncle's idea to give us a lil break and vittal uncle had taken permission from Samrat's family also.
Purba : It will be a big surprise for Rahul and Samrat.
Ria : Yes bhabs..
At night,
Kalpana leaves the office and waits for auto. Raghav and sammy come in their car and offers a lift to Kalpana. At that moment, Samrat comes there.
Samrat : lets go, Kalpi.
Kalpana leaves with Samrat.
Raghav clenches his fist and hits the steering in frustration.
In auto,
Samrat : pack ur bag before coming to office tomorrow.
Kalpana looks at Samrat questioningly.
Samrat : we are leaving for Goa tomorrow.
Kalpana : What ?
Samrat : Ria's surprise you know or you can say Vittal uncle's surprise.
Kalpana : But Raina said that she would tell us on right time.
Samrat : ya.. but you and Raina left me with purba alone and we have a nice chat. We exchanged some information like I told her about Rahul's first girlfriend and She told me about Ria's surprise. You know simple deal.
Kalpana : But Rahul's first girlfriend is purba only and purba knows it. why did she tell u about Goa's plan for a fake story? purba is not stupid
Samrat :Purba is not stupid but Rahul's wife is. I just mentioned innocently that Rahul had an innocent crush on someone and she assumed that the girl was Rahul's girlfriend and she bribed me with this information.
Kalpana : You did not do right. Now Purba will make Rahul's life hell.
Samrat : hey don't accuse me. It is Rahul's idea only to fool Purba.
Kalpana : What. I should know it. you boys are always be boys. Hate u both.
Samrat drops kalpana to her home.
Kalpana comes home and hugs her baba and says thanx for his surprise. Pakya comes and says : You both always forget me .. Kalpu, it is not baba's idea. I had suggested this to baba.
Kalpana hugs her dada: I love u dada, you also join us in the trip.
Pakya : I have work to do.
Kalpana : But dada it is weekend and who works on weekend.
Pakya : You go and enjoy the trip. if u need anything, tell me.
Kalpana sees one packet on her bed and eyes questioningly to her dada and baba but they point to her mother.
Kalpana : what is all these, aai?
Kamla : Kalpi, it is for u. Just enjoy your holiday. I know u think that I don't care for u but I love u Kalpi.
Kalpana : Thanx aai for the gift.
Saying so, Kalpana goes to terrace.
Kamla self thinks : I don't want your thanks Kalpi but I want my daughter back.
Kalpana messages something to purba and Raina.
In Rahul's home.
After receiving Kalpana's message,
Purba : I will teach such a lesson to Rahul that he always remember me.
Raina : why are u forgetting Samrat, Bhabs? bhai and he will remember this trip for their whole life.
Next day.
Samrat drops Kalpana office and Raghav sees it.
Raghav is getting restless day by day. Oneside, Kalpana is not ready to listen to him and otherside, He can't see Kalpana with someone else.
Sammy pacifies Raghav : they are just friends, Raghav.
Raghav : I know Sammy but I am feeling very restless today.
Sammy : Don't worry. Just concentrate on Kalpana's forgiveness. Once, She will accept ur apology, everything will be alright.
Raghav calls Kalpana in his cabin.
Raghav (in a serious note ) : I want u to prepare presentation on our new financial strategy. We have to present it infront of our investors tomorrow.
Kalpana : Ok, Mr. Singhania.
Raghav : Please come office tomorrow at 1 pm for presentation.
Kalpana : Sorry sir, I don't work on saturday.
Raghav : Miss Yadav, it is a life time opportunity for u. I think u should not waste it for any reason.
Kalpana : Mr. Singhania, I know what is good for me. I will complete the presentation but I don't want to attend the meeting.
Raghav : Kalpana, I am not doing a favor on you by giving u this opportunity. I know you are capable to handle it.
Kalpana ( in dangerously calm voice) : You always have high opinion regarding my capability and I have seen it many times.
Raghav knows that Kalpana is hinting about his accusation for Trisha's death.
Kalpana tries to leave Raghav's cabin when Raghav stops her pulling her wrist.
Kalpana : Just leave me Mr. Singhania, I am not going to take ur nonsense any more.
Raghav : Kalpana, just listen to me once. Why don't u understand that I am sorry for everything what I did to u.
Kalpana : I have already said to u that you did not do anything that you have to ask sorry from me.
Raghav : Kalpana, please don't say this. I can't live with ur hatred. I love u damned.
Kalpana(in anger) : Don't u dare to say this again.these words from ur mouth are sounding like an insult
Kalpana struggles hard to free her wrist from Raghav's hand. Her bangles broke and glass pieces pierces in her wrist and Raghav's hand. Raghav's hand starts bleeding and same with Kalpana's wrist. Kalpana looks at her wrist and removes the glass pieces from her wound.Raghav tries to help her but she stops him.
Kalpana : I never repeat same mistakes again, Mr. Singhania.
Saying so, Kalpana leaves from there without glancing at Raghav's wound.
Raghav sees wound on his hand and remembers the day when Kalpana spilled coffee on his hand by mistake and treated his burn with so much affection.That time, He was hell bent on hurting her but she cared for him. But today she did not care to look at his wound.
Kalpana comes out of Raghav's cabin, takes her bag and leaves the office.
Sammy sees Kalpana storming out of Raghav's cabin and leaving the office. He goes to Raghav's cabin.
Sammy sees Raghav's bleeding hand and asks peon to bring first aid box.
Raghav : Sammy, tell him to give bandage to Kalpana also. she is also hurt.
Sammy : she has left Raghav.
Raghav : What?
Sammy : Raghav, don't push her too much now. her wounds are still fresh. she will either hurt u or hurt herself in her anger.
Raghav : I just want her to understand me but she is not ready to listen anything. If I go to her home, she accuses that I am showing off that I am owner of chawl. If I give her a chance to prove herself, She accuses that I am torturing her. I don't know what to do.
Sammy : Let me think something, Raghav. '
At that moment,Sammy receives a call from someone.
Sammy : hello.. are u sure...thanx.. I would love it if u accompany me.. I will make sure that he stay away from u.. thanx..
Sammy : Raghav, Kalpana and her friends are going goa for the weekend.
Raghav : How do u know?
Sammy : Kamla ma have told pakhi this and she informed me.
Raghav : We are also leaving for goa today, Sammy. Please plan everything.
Sammy : I will plan everything but one thing raghav just stay away from Pakhi.
Raghav : Pakhi, from where does she come in it?
Sammy : She is coming with us as she needs a vacation after all she is also hurt.
Raghav : Ok.
Kalpana is packing her bag. Kamla sees her packing and sees the fresh wound on her wrist.
Kamla : how did u hurt urself Kalpana ?
Kalpana : nothing aai, it is just a small cut. I will take care of it. you don't have to worry about it.
Kamla : If you don't take proper care on time, this wound will spread. Let me put medicine on it.
Kalpana : I am accustomed to it. I will put some turmeric on it and it will heal soon. We learned this in the hostel.
Kalpana goes to kitchen and put some turmeric on her wound and starts packing.
Vittal and Pakya come from office and sees Kalpana ready.
Pakya : I will drop you at bus station, Kalpu.
Kalpana : Ok dada. lets go.
Pakya drops Kalpana at the bus stand where everyone is waiting for her. Kalpana, purba and raina sit in three consecutive seats. Rahul and Samrat sit at a little distance.
Kalpana : Have u planned something.
Purba : Just wait and watch. Rahul and Samrat both will never forget this trip.
Raina, purba and Kalpana give hifi to each other. Three friends keep chattering whole night.
At morning they reach goa and go to the lodge which is booked for them. Raina, purba and Kalpana go to their room and Rahul and samrat leave for their room after taking keys. Just after that Raghav. Sammy and Pakhi arrive there.
Looking at the lodge , Sammy asked : Do you really want to stay here, Raghav. It is not your type.
Raghav : I will stay here only. If you don't like it , you and Pakhi can go somewhere else.
Sammy : Raghav, I am not asking for myself. You never stayed at this type of place. So, I was asking.
Raghav : I am sorry. you know me.
Raghav, sammy and Pakhi leave for their individual rooms after taking keys.
Unaware to them, someone is keeping an eye on them.
Kalpana, Raina and Purba get ready for the beach.
Purba is back in her wild cat avtar. she is looking hot in white sleeveless top with pink knee length skirt. she accessorize her dressing with a long beed chain in neck and lots of bangles in one hand.
Raina is looking good in pink jump suit and Kalpana is looking cool in knee length white floral dress.
They go to beach leaving Rahul and Samrat in lodge. Rahul and samrat are waiting for their call and after one hour, they go to check and find girls room locked.
Rahul : Oh god,Purba is impossible. It must be her idea to torture me. First her hand made food and now this.
Samrat : we should go to beach to find them.
Rahul and samrat go to beach and find them chatting. Suddenly a girl comes running and hugs Rahul. and the same moment, Purba notices Rahul and she starts fuming in anger. Rahul tries to push the girl away but she hugs him more tightly. Rahul is feeling embarrased. Purba comes near to Rahul and scream at top of her voice.
Purba : who is this girl, Rahul? you are cheating me with this girl.
Rahul : I don't know her, Purba.
The girl speaks : why are u saying this , Rahul. I am samantha, your first love.
Purba starts crying: Oh , Samrat was talking about this girl ony. You cheated me Rahul. I hate u.
Rahul : I am swearing on you, purba I don't know this girl.
Purba starts crying loudly: now you are lieing swearing on me. So that you can marry this girl after my death.
People surrounds them and Kalpana and Raina console Purba. Rahul is hell shocked at sudden turn of events. People are gossiping about them
But Purba can't pretend any more and bursts into laughter.Purba winks at the girl and girl leaves from there leaving behind shocked Rahul and Samrat.
Purba : Rahul, This is for spoiling our surprise. Now enjoy your holiday without me. lets go girls.
Raina : one minute bhabs, One person also needs a lesson.
Raina goes close to samrat and stumps on his foot hard and whispers in his ear : It is not just for spoiling my surprise, stupid.
Kalpana, Raina and purba give each other hi fi and leave from there.
Samrat : It is impossible to understand girls.
Rahul : Don't try to understand girls just ask sorry from them.
and they follow the girls.
Raghav is watching them closely. He is feeling happy seeing Kalpana like this. seeing her with her friends reminds him about his outing with Sammy and Trisha. But he never enjoyed anything like this. He was always burdened with his revenge.
Sammy and Pakhi are busy in chatting at another corner. Pakhi is feeling good with Sammy. She never thought that she can like someone else other than Raghav. But it was her illusion. Raghav was only a dream of her. She can't remember a single moment when Raghav cared for her or made her feel special. She was stupid to think that it was love. She fell for Raghav becoz he is handsome but Love does not happen for any reason. It was her infatuation only.
Suddenly Police arrive in the beach and starts checking bags of the tourists. They check Rahul's bag and find drugs in it. Purba, Raina, Kalpana, Samrat and Rahul are hell shocked . People surrounds them. Police arrest Rahul in drug dealing charges. Rahul pleads his innocense but Police do not listen and take Rahul with them.Purba, Raina and Kalpana are distraught and Samrat console them. Suddenly Kalpana notices Raghav in the crowd. Kalpana gets angry and goes to Raghav.
Kalpana : Wah, Mr. Singhania , you are great. What I did this time that u have again played ur dirty
tricks on my friend. Why can't you let us live in peace. Ok, I am sorry. please don't hurt my friend
becoz of it. Tell me what I have to do this time that u will leave my friends alone.
Raghav is hurt by her words : Kalpana, I did not do anything. why do I hurt people who are so close to u?
Kalpana : don't pretend Mr. Singhania. I know you have done it.
Sammy and Pakhi are listening everything.
Sammy : Kalpana, raghav did not do anything.
Kalpana : Mr. Raizada do u really think I will believe you.
Samrat comes there and tells Kalpana : Kalpi, we should go to police station. Don't waste ur time on these people. Purba and Ria need u .
Kalpana goes with samrat. They leave for the police station.
Pakhi remembers something and tells Sammy : sammy, I think someone has trapped Kalpana's friend. I remember I have seen a goon type person following them when I was chatting with you.
Raghav : Can u recognise him, Pakhi?
Pakhi does not respond to Raghav and turns to sammy : I can recognise him if I see him again.
Raghav : Please Pakhi help me. He must be here only.
Pakhi, Sammy and Raghav starts searching for the person.
After some time, Pakhi spots the person . The person starts running. Raghav and samrat follows him. Suddenly a car comes and the person sits on it. The car starts running on the road. Raghav and Sammy stops a taxi and requests the driver to follow the car. Taxi driver starts the taxi in full speed. After sometime, their taxi overtakes that car and stops infront of the car. Raghav and Sammy get out of the taxi and pulls that person out of car. The other person who is in the car hits Raghav badly and runs from there. Raghav follows him and atlast captures him. Raghav and Sammy leave for the police station with those two person.
In Police Station:
Purba and Samrat are arguing with police to allow them to meet Rahul and Kalpana is consoling Raina.
Officer : You can't meet him as he is arrested in drug dealing charges.
Purba : I am his wife and I have every right to meet my husband.
Officer : Mam, I can't help u. Don't create a scene here. you can meet him on monday in court.
Samrat : Look officer, he is trapped in this case. Please believe us.
Kalpana can't control herself.
Kalpana : how can you trap an innocent man for some money. Don't u have any moral or Values.
Officer gets angry and tells constable to throw them out.
Sammy , Pakhi and Raghav comes to police station with that two people and inform officer everything. The goon type person accepts that he put drugs in Rahul's bag as the other person had paid him money for that.
Purba is shocked to see the other person. She goes near him and Slaps him hard.
Purba : Mr. Abhi, if u try to hurt my Rahul again, I will kill u. I have warned u a numerous time to
stay from me and my husband.
Then Purba turns to Raghav and sammy and mutters Thanx.Raina and Samrat also Thanks them. Raina notices blood in Raghav's hand and tells him to take care of his wound.
Kalpana just keeps mum.
Rahul get released. Purba runs toward him and hugs him tightly.
Rahul : hey sweet heart I am alright.
Rahul goes to Raina and wipes her tear and hugs her.
Kalpana and samrat give a hug to Rahul.
Rahul then turns toward Raghav, Sammy and Pakhi.
Rahul : Thanks for ur help. I will never forget ur this favor. But I am requesting u to stay away from
us. Me and samrat are never angry on u for sending us to jail. But you had hurt our friend so badly that we can't forgive u.
Rahul leaves police station with his friends. Raghav is expecting that Kalpana will turn back to see him but she does not turn.
Sammy patts Raghav's back : Give her some time.
Precap :
Samrat will propose Raina.
Kalpana will be left with two options. Both options are wrong in her eyes. what will she choose.
Raghav will be left shattered with Kalpan's decision.
Note :
Taken a lot of time to write this long chapter so can build the platform for Kalpana's decision.
In my SS, Kalpana is not a bechari abla nari. She is strong headed. She is practical. she is not going to take decision from her heart. she will listen to her mind. She was cheated in love. For her which was love, for Raghav that was his Revenge. She will never forgive Raghav easily for that.
