Raghav and Kalpi got off from the car and went inside the theater to look for Paakhi and Sammy. They noticed that they were holding hands. Raghav grinned. "Sammy bhi na.." he muttered. "Ji, Sir, challe?" Kalpi asked. Raghav nodded and gestured for her to go on. Raghav and Kalpi sat on either side of Paakhi and Sammy.
Paakhi gets really excited to see Hrithik's movie. "I am sooo excited!" she told Kalpi. Kalpi smiled kindly. Just then there is an announcement. "Ladies and Gentlemen! Sorry for the inconvenience but the movie we were about to watch has been changed.. instead we will be watching a different one." Paakhi immediately let out a groan. "Agh! Mujhe Hrithik Roshan ki movie dekhni thi!" "It's okay, Paakhi" Kalpi told her calmly. Kalpi looks at the movie as the lights dimmed. Her face breaks into a smile when she sees what movie it is. Raghav was the star of it. Raghav bent back in his seat to see Kalpi's reaction. He was glad to see the smile on her face. "Wow!" Paakhi exclaimed. "It's youu" she said to Raghav. "Yeah" Raghav said. He got up to go get some popcorn for everyone. He asked Sammy to accompany him but Sammy didn't want to leave Paakhi's side so he asked Kalpana to go along with him. Kalpana immediately shook her head as her eyes were glued to the screen. "Mein Raghav ki nayee movie miss nahi karna chaati. Not even a second." Paakhi giggled and said that she would go with Raghav, no problem.
In the middle of the movie when Raghav is hugging the actress, Kalpana goes red in the face. Raghav grins seeing her that way. Everyone was looking at the movie screen but Raghav's elbow was on his chair as he gazed at Kalpi. A few minutes later, Sammy nudged him in the ribs. "Raghav!" he hissed into his ears. "Agar aisa karoge toh voh dekh legi!" "So?" Raghav asked him. "Shh!" someone said from behind them which caused them to go silent.
The group decided to drop Kalpi off first as she would get in trouble if she did not get there soon. Kalpi insists that they come in to see her off and they agreed. They were just about to leave when Kamla comes over and requested them to stay for dinner. She didn't care for Paakhi but as she was part of the group she had to tolerate her. 'Ameer hai yeh log' Kamla thought excitedly.
Everyone sits at the dining table while Kamla serves. Aaji kept staring at Raghav and Sammy, trying to choose who would suit Kalpi the best. "Khaana acha hai?" Kamla asked Raghav. Raghav nods. "Ji, khaana boht hi acha bana hai." Kamla smiles and said, "Ji, shukriya." A few minutes later, Kamla and Aaji look at each other. Yes, they should send Kalpi off to spend some time with that rich guy, Raghav. Who knows when there fate would change? When they would become rich? Raghav could be their key to success. Kamla did not realize that Kalpana didn't need to marry a rich man to become successful. But she soon would.
"Arre Kalpi, behta, Raghav ko apna room dikhaao na" Kamla said to Kalpi. Kalpi looked up at her mother. Ai knew very well that the walls of her room were covered with Raghav's posters then why was she doing this? "Ai..koi aur din?" Kalpana said to her Ai. "Koi aur din kyun, aaj hi karo!" Kamla ordered Kalpi. "Koi baat nahi, Kamla Aunty, mein khud hi dekh leta hoon" Raghav said with a smirk.
"Acha" Kamla said to him, while serving Sammy more rice. Kalpi watches Raghav walk into her room. She closes her eyes. What would he think of her??
Paakhi notices Kalpana's tense face. "Kalpi, pass me the daal, please?" she asked, to take her mind off Raghav being in her room. Kalpana took the bowl and handed it over to Paakhi, who murmured, "Thanks."
The first thing that caught Raghav's eye when he walked into Kalpi's room was a very huge poster of him hanging above her bed. It was of the most recent movie of him that had been released. "Kalpi mere posters laga ti hai?" Raghav wondered aloud. He went up to a wall that was covered top to bottom with all of his posters of all his films that had been released. She hadn't missed a single one of them. He saw how neatly organized they were. He smiled. So, he did have a chance to have Kalpana fall in love with him.
He turned around and went up to the wall in front of Kalpi's bed. In front of it was a small t.v. with a bunch of movie boxes scattered around the table. Glancing at them, he saw that most of the movies had his face on the cover of them. He eagerly opened the DVD player to see which movie of his she had watched most recently. She had watched 'Yeh toh Sach Mein Dhamaal Ho Gaya'. Raghav felt a little bit embarrassed. He had done quite a few funny scenes in that movie.
He moved onto the last wall with a bookshelf in front of it. There were a bunch of books on it. The first few sections, he noticed were filled with books all on acting. He remembered how Kalpi had told him that she liked acting. Looking at all those books, he made up his mind that he would help Kalpi become an actress. He picked up a book off the shelf and peered into it. It looked as if the pages had been turned over and over as if she had wanted to memorized them. Setting the book down, he went to Kalpi's bedside table and grabbed her photo frame. She was standing next to Paakhi with a huge smile on her face. It actually looked as if she was really happy and was not faking. He guessed that the picture was taken during her college days when she had nothing to worry about. He ran his fingers over that cold glass and grinned. She was really pretty. She was capable of becoming a well-known actress. She was a good human being. And most of all, she was perfect for him. He had never thought that he would meet such a nice girl like her. But there, now he had. Putting the frame down, he grabbed the photo album. He was really excited. This one had a bunch of her college pictures in them. He took one out and slid inside his jacket. She wouldn't notice one picture missing. He would talk to her picture when she was not around. 'Cool room' he thought. He went back out into the dining room.
Kalpana was looking anywhere but at him. She was embarrassed that he had seen all his pictures hung up on her walls. What need was there for Ai to send him in there? Now, Raghav would never let hear the end of it.
"Acha room hai tumaara, Kalpana" he said, smiling widely. Paakhi smiled as she saw her friend blushing furiously. "Ab humme chalna chahiye" Raghav said, looking towards Kalpana who looked as if she would pass out.
After the guys had left, Paakhi whispered into Kalpi's ear, "See you in the morning, Kalpi." "Okay, bye" Kalpana replied. After Paakhi had left as well, Kamla immediately got up and stretched. "Ma Ji, aap thak gayi ho gi, so jaaiye" Kamla told Aaji. Aaji nodded while yawning and went into her room to go to bed.
"Kalpi!" Kamla said, loudly. "Ji, Ai?" Kalpi asked. "Tumaara moo band kyun tha jab voh Raghav yahaan tha, huh? Tumhe uss se baatein karne chahiye thi taaki usse tum se pyaar ho jaaye. Aur phir tum bina kutch kiye memsaab ban jaati" Kamla said, a dreamy look on her face. "Ai!" Kalpana said, a shocked look on her face. "Tumme mein aisi lakti hoon? Ki mein peiso keliye kisse ladke ko pasaaugi?" "Dekh Kalpi.." "Please Ai, mein mehnat se memsaab banugi aisi choti harkete kar ke bilkul nahi!" "Ab tu vaapas bolne lagi?" Kamla asked her angrily. "Yaad rakh, mein teri Ai hoon! Ek labz bhi aage kahaa toh mein..tumme aisi sazza dungi ki tu zindagi bhar yaad rakhe-" Kamla stopped when she heard the doorbell ringing. "Tu yaheen ruk, aur hilna matt!" Kamla said, threateningly.
Kalpi watched sadly as Kamla let Vitthal and Pakhya in. They had just gotten home from work. "Kalpi! Inhe khaana paroso!" Kamla ordered her. Kalpana agreed and served her father and brother their meals. Kamla just stood there and watched Vitthal and Pakhya eat. "Keisa din tha, aap logo ka?" she asked them. Vitthal nodded. "Acha tha." Pakhya nodded in agreement. "Haan, Ai." After Kalpi was done serving, Kamla said, "Ab tu apne kamre mein jaao!" Kalpana helplessly turned on the spot and went into her room.
That night before she went to sleep, Pakhya came in. He sat on the edge of her bed to talk with his sister. "Sis, how are you?" he asked. Kalpi was surprised. For the first time, her brother actually seemed concerned for her. "Bhai, theek hoon mein" Kalpana responded. Pakhya nodded and seemed to be searching for words. After a few moments of silence, he said, "I am sorry, little sis." Kalpi looked up. "Kis liye?" she asked. Pakhya seemed ashamed of himself as he said, "Ai tujhse zaada meri taraf zaada pyaar dikhaati hai aur...mein jaanta hoon ki yeh galat hai. Mujhe shehd kutch karna chahiye..lekeen Ai aur Aaji ke saamne toh Baba ki bhi nahi chalti." Kalpana had tears in her eyes. For the first time, yes, but at least her brother was concerned for her. "Bhaiya..aap nahi jaante ki mujhe kitni khushi huyi yeh jaan kar ki aapko meri fikar hai" she told him. He stood up and said, "Come here, sis." She went over and hugged her brother. "I will always be there with you, sis" he told her. "Just please don't take mom's words so badly, please. I promise, I will try to stand up for you more from now on." "Aap sabse ache bhaiya hai" Kalpana said, "Aur ek hazaaron mein meri bhena hai" Pakhya told her. They both started laughing at Pakhya's dialogue. "Aap bhi nai, Bhaiya" Kalpana said. Pakhya patted her head. "Ab Good Night, mein chalta hoon." "Ji, Bhaiya" Kalpi said. He nodded politely and went into his own room. Kalpi smiled. At least she had the support of her brother.
Precap: During lunch break, Raghav and Kalpi go for a walk in the garden. Raghav asks her if she wants to act out a movie scene with him for fun to see how well she acted.
