Part 17

The next day Kalpana was exploring new sites on the internet when she saw something that made her extremely excited. Raghav Singhania would be giving a dance performance in a reality show.

Kalpana leaped up and smiled widely. "Wow.. Kalpi!" she exclaimed. "Your favorite actor will be giving a dance performance and that too..LIVE!!" "I have to go see it, how can I not!"

With that, Kalpi started making arrangements.

"What should I wear?" she asked herself shyly. She rummaged through her suitcase and felt disappointed. "Nothing too gorgeous for this event.." "Haan, I'll ask Paakhi about it!"

She picked up her cell phone and immediately dialed Paakhi's number.

"Paakhi..!!" she exclaimed, even before Paakhi had said hello. "What should I wear for the reality show.."

"Take a deep breath Kalpi.." Paakhi told Kalpana. "What award and what dress are you talking about?"

"Raghav's giving a live performance Paakhi, I have to go!" Kalpana replied quickly. "Now say, what should I wear, I don't seem to have anything nice to wear..!!"

"Arre Kalpana relax.." Paakhi told her friend with a smile on her face. "Wear something elegant you know..afterall Raghav is performing.." Paakhi said naughtily.

"Paakhi, I am his true fan, that's it!" Kalpana said with a pout on her face. "Anyways leave that, you've been to Mumbai, tell me where I can get a good dress.."

"Okay Madam as you say.." and Paakhi told her.

"What!" Raghav exclaimed.

"Yes Raghav!" Sammy said passing on the information Paakhi had given him.

"She's coming to my performance" Raghav said stupidly.

"Yes Raghav" Sammy replied.

"She'll be watching my performance" Raghav mumbled.

"Certainly" Sammy said.

"My performance should be extra good."

"Si Raghav, now go practice!" Sammy said.

"Hey Sammy, tell Paakhi that I love her for this" Raghav told Sammy.

"Oy Mr.." Samar threatened but Raghav just chuckled and hung up.

"Kalpana, I will find you today" Raghav told himself excitedly.

He eagerly told his sister Tanya the news. "Brilliant!" she told him.

"Look Tanya" he told his sister. "While I am performing, I want you to search for Kalpana in the crowd."

"But bhai in such a big crowd?" Tanya asked.

"I would send men out but as you said Kalpana wouldn't like that" Raghav said. "So I'm sending you..am I asking too much from you Tanya? Maybe I should just look for her myself.."

"No no bhai" Tanya interrupted. "I will look for Kalpana if that is what you wish."

"Thanks meri behn" Raghav said hugging his little sister.

"Ab toh, I only have to perform so good for my Kalpi.." Raghav said with a smile. He tried straightening his hair with his hand. "Tanya do I look dashing enough?"

"Bhaiya, what kind of question is that?" Tanya asked laughingly.

"Hey do tell me na.." Raghav pleaded.

"Haan haan bhai you look damn hot and Kalpana will surely be impressed with you and your looks.."

"Oh Tani.." Raghav told his little sister and pulling her into a brotherly hug.

doston na koi manzil hai na koi saathi hai phir bhi nikal padda hoon ghar se, shehd jiski telaash hai voh hi saathi hai, voh hi manzal hai.."

Kalpana smiled as she saw Raghav appear on the stage and start saying those words and playing the guitar at the same time..

She stood up and waved her arms excitedly just like the crowd around her.

"Oh oh jaane jaana dhoonde tujhe deewana, sapnon mein roz aaye.. aa zindagi main aana sanam.."

As Raghav performed on the song, his eyes kept on searching the crowd for his Kalpana. He had to admit that performing and looking through the crowd to find someone at the same time was quite a tough job.

"Mera khwaab mere khayolo ki rani kisi din banegi humaari kahani.." (x2)

Kalpana's eyes teared up on this line. She could not believe that she was standing there and watching her favorite actor performing..

"Ay meri bekhudi ye kasam maine lee pyar mein ek din meri jaan tujhe hai paana.. Sapnon mein roz aaye aa zindagi mein aana.. oh oh jaane jaana dhunde tujhe deewana sapnon mein roz aaye aa zindagi main aana sanam.."

"Kisi khoobsurat pari jeisi hogi..Mujhe kya pata dilruba keisi hogi.."

As Raghav lip sang this, he grinned widely. He was remembering his khooburat si pari Kalpana, for him she was the beauty queen <3.

By now, the crowd especially the girls were ogling at Raghav. Kalpana sensed this and felt a burning sensation go through her. There was one girl especially who was right next to her and was jumping and throwing air kisses at Raghav. Kalpana wished that she could strangle that lady right there and then. Oh God..' Kalpana thought to herself. Am I Kalpana Jadhav..jealous??'😲

Kalpana shoved the girl standing next to her and said, "Hey you know Mr. Singhania, he already has a crush on someone.."

"What, I can't hear you?" the girl yelled back.

"Raghav already has a crush on someone!" Kalpana yelled back angrily.

"Yeah right..how do you know!" the girl yelled back.

"I am that girl!" Kalpana said unable to stop herself.

"Haa haa so funny, good one" she said laughing at Kalpana.

Kapana tried to say more but the girl's attention had once again shifted towards Raghav.

"Ugh" Kalpana said and turned back to watch Raghav's performance.

Meanwhile, Tanya was walking through the crowd searching for Kalpana. It had sounded easy to track Kalpana down when they had said it, but now it seemed too difficult. There were so many people here!! "Oh Bhai, how do I found Kalpana didi now.." Tanya said disappointedly as she scanned the crowds for any source of a young pretty girl.

As Raghav's performance was the last, as soon as he finished, the crowd was rushing towards the exit. It was getting really late at night. Meanwhile, other crazy fans ran right up to the stage and tried jumping onto it, but failed due to the tight security.

"Ah these fans" Raghav mumbled to himself.

People were yelling at him for an autograph but all this while he was distracted, he was searching the crowd for his Kalpi.

His co dancers told him to get off the stage and go change, but he ignored them and jumped off the stage. He immediately blended into the crowd.

"Raghav..!!" a couple of girls screamed at him and ran towards him and Raghav just pushed them away. A bunch of reporters were making their way towards him and Raghav chose it best to turn in the opposite direction.

"Kalpi.." he called out like crazy. "Kalpi.."

Just when he had given up all hope of finding his dream girl, he saw Kalpana's face near the exit. "Kalpana.." he called out to her, but it seems that she didn't hear him. She just turned and ran out the door, to save herself from being pushed and shoved by strangers.

An hour later, Tanya stood next to Raghav somberly. "Bhaiya, I am soo sorry, I tried very hard to locate Kalpana didi but I found her nowhere.." Tears were rolling down her face.

"Hey dear" Raghav said wiping his sister's tears. "No, don't cry young one."

He pulled her into a hug. "You may not have found her..it was too tough, I understand."

"But at least I caught a glimpse of her."

"What?" Tanya asked him in surprise.

"Yes Tanya, I saw her" Raghav said.

"My Kalpana is indeed in Mumbai.."
