Part 15

Office

Pakhi is wondering what she should do next..."I like Sammy a lot. He is sweet, nice, and funny but Raghav has a dangerous streak that calls me to him. Maybe Kamla ma can help me; no she will pull my ears and scratch my eyes for such thoughts. I will let destiny decide..."

Kalpana and Raghav reach office and are both foreseeing the details of the project. Raghav is surprised and pleased with the dedication and effort she demonstrates in her work. Mr. Mehta arrives and is waiting in the conference room along with other potential builders interested in the project. Sammy and Pakhi went to greet him first. Raghav and Kalpana join in next with black eyed Prem right behind them. Mr. Mehta is shocked to see the angel who saved her kid and the monster that hurt his kid in the same room at the same time. Before Kalpana could move one step more, a kid hugs her and she too is surprised to see him here and inquires after his health. Prem and Raghav are confused. Mr. Mehta then introduces the panel, his son Aryan who was saved because of Kalpana. Prem felt like banging his head on the wall for his folly. Raghav remembered when he made fun of Kalpi's believe in karma but how twisted and amazingly it turned to her favor. Mr. Mehta had decided to give his contract to RS construction regardless but after seeing the presentation, he was even more impressed.

Mr. Mehta: Mr. Singhania, you are very lucky to have such an employee in your firm. This contract is yours only because of Kalpana Yadav. She is an angel for my son. You make sure she is alright; my son said something about the guy warning to kidnap her. I will threaten Prem for sure but I'm not sure how to make her feel at ease. You possibly could do a better job.

Raghav took a deep breath thanking Mr. Mehta for his information and he is glad, he has the best employees in his company. He asks him to thank his son from Raghav's side. Raghav sees Kalpana moving towards outside, he grabs her arm and takes her to a secluded corner. Kalpi thinking it is prem is about to hit him where the sun doesn't shine hissing prem but Raghav turns her around. He put his arms around the wall crowding her in the tiny space.

K: Sir...aap...what are you doing? Why are we here? Please let me go.

R:" Shh, why the hell didn't you tell me that Prem threatened you. How dare he, "he utters while slapping the walls where he had held Kalpi captive in between his arms. You are my ever...employee...I can't let your life be in danger.

Kalpi is hurt with the word employee. She thinks to herself, "Why are you disappointed...that is what you are...what were you expecting and where are your brains...you have aims...dreams...you can't forget them for a playboy guy...you don't know if he is one...shut up...focus on work and your vows remember or you left them with Paakhi!

Raghav too is fighting with his inner self..."what do you think you are doing? Where is your revenge? You won the first battle but war remains...but Kalpi had a huge part in it...so...stop... focus on revenge that is it!

Raghav abruptly leaves after telling her no harm will be on her way and Kalpi sighs but doesn't know if it was a sigh of disappointment or relief.

Kalpi reaches home safely and relates all her day happening to Ma and Rahul, both of who want her to file police complaint. She assures them that her ziddi, khadoos and akhroo boss promised no harm will come upon her and police will be inside Kapoors pocket. Next few weeks go without much drama with Kalpi rising at each opportunity and excelling at her work, Raghav impressed by her work skills have little or nothing to taunt her about and her cold turkey attitude has toned down a bit, Sammy and Pakhi come closer with more frequent dates but either too shy to utter what they feel, Prem planning on revenge against Kalpi and Raghav as ever since both have returned to Mumbai have caused a havoc in his life, Ma fighting her demons she promised to let Kalpi know about soon and Vitthal and Kamla enjoying each moments as newlyweds.

Mr. Mehta plans to throw a party at his house; few of his colleagues, friends and Raghav along with his employees are invited.

Paakhi is super excited for the party and is discussing what dress to wear with Kalpi. Kalpi is happy to hear her so enthuastic. Sammy on the other hand is ranting to Raghav what kind of corsage he should get for Paakhi while Raghav just rolls his eyes.

R: You have become too bright and happy for me.
S: You should try it too...maybe with Kalpana...you both are so similar yet different.

S POV: I know you feel something for her, I don't want you to destroy that for taking revenge. Revenge feels sweet for a day but the void never fills. Mr. Richardson is paying for his deeds but that doesn't make me happy, I still miss my father. Paakhi filled that void with her love in my life. Hope the same happens to you. I can't tell you this on face because you might think it is because of Paakhi or because my revenge is done.

Party

Raghav is wearing a black shirt with grey pants. Sammy wore blue shirt with black slacks. Pakhi had a blue dress on while Kalpi decided to wear a purple saree with blue and golden embroidery. Everyone in the party was drooling over Kalpi, Paakhi, Raghav and Sammy. Sammy kept Pakhi within an arm reach and made sure no pass was made at her. Raghav kept staring at Kalpi from a far.
