Chapter 4

It was his mother's medical report. He collapsed right there. His body wasn't supporting him anymore. He wanted to cry and he wanted to breathe, but it seemed to be the hardest tasks he had ever been through. He wanted to shout but suddenly he felt too weak even to move. A part of his mind still refused to accept that truth.

Composing himself he started reading her letter.

Yes Mr. Singhania (these first words made him guiltier)

It is your mother's correct report; she lost her memory in accident.

That's why she doesn't remember anything about her family. So we never got to knew that she is your mother. Now you must be thinking that I am making story but its truth and as I have said you can confirm it I will never mind. And last thing that I got to know is that I m adopted daughter of kamla ma so she must not be hurt with my absence and I m providing you another reason to hate me. Your mother lost her memory while saving my life. I hope now you have got all your answers. Wait don't worry about your revenge with me this time as I m paying for my every bad deed which I have never done. Firstly I lost my parents then kamla ma and then you. If you think that this punishment is less for me you are free to do whatever you want.

Every word which defines the feeling of sorrow and pain is very small to describe his state of mind and heart. He survive because, he has to die everyday. Yes he got know all the truths which is written in medical report and letter within a month after she left him but reading all the things in her words was just like killing someone who is already dead.

Raghav's POV

The truth was so hard to accept, but I could imagine her dealings and behavior towards me ... I hear all those cries of pain around me especially of my eyes and heart. Few years before she used to spent whole beautiful with me, but oh GOD! What I have done to her I have crushed her soul to this level that know she is afraid of me and she doesn't believe that I will trust her words.

How I will tell her that I am dying talking to nobody except my fate and there is different sort of feeling within me, which burns me like lying on the bed of thorns and fire. I know I am wrong, but my god knows, and my heart, that how I use to deal with her, while burning deep inside because of I have always loved her and will love her.

But it's my promise to you Kalpana now I will get u back in my life anyhow and very soon.

A small smile crept.

But destiny had something different plans.

A cute fight of brother and sister was going on, in 2 bhk flat which was Kalpana's small world.

"Bro, just give me my color back" said angry Kriya almost shouting on her brother.

"Look at yourself sis, you are looking like an angry bird" said Aarav while laughing.

Listen, Aarav I am saying last time otherwise I will tell about this to mumma. It was the limit of her temper actually she is very short tempered.

Oh, ok baba don't trouble mumma I am giving you back but only on one condition that you will not call me big brother.

That's like my big brother and she ran away snatching color box.

Hey stop, I told you hundred times I am only two hours elder than u don't call me big brother.

Ok I will not call u big brother', she said.

Now it was going to turn third world war but hopefully it is stopped by kalpana's voice.

Hey my twins come fast dinner is ready.

Coming mumma they said together and as usual holding each others hand they reached to dinning table.

So mumma what's special is here for me asked Kriya with her heart touching smile.

Your entire favorite dear said kalpana while adjusting table. Your favorite ice cream and mixed veg.

Wow awesome see big brother mumma loves me more she said.

No see love me more and again u have said me big brother mumma just ask her not to say like this" Aarav complained to his mother.

Kriya just keep quite and finish you food she scolded her.

Kriya nodded her head and started eating.

Kriya always remind him of Raghav. She is just like him, her like dislike, her angry and stubborn nature and her brown eyes.

For an outsider it will look like she had all happiness but only she knows how his absence every time filled her eyes with tears and her heart with sorrow; though she always loved him without any hope yet it was pretty comfort to her to see him everyday. To look upon his dark brown eyes arched brow and curls of his fine hairs, till she seemed to draw his complete picture of him in her mind and her. But now she had only pictures not him.

Sometimes she feels as most unlucky person but when she sees her children she felt as luckiest. She felt guilty for hiding about her pregnancy from Raghav and till now she hadn't told him.

Sanyukta snapped her finger in front of kalpana eyes to break her thoughts. Oh madam where are you come back to present I am here from three minutes aur tum pta nahi kaha khoyi ho dinner tak nahi pucha.

I... I m sorry just take your seat I will serve you said Kalpana coming back to reality.

It's alright I will serve myself and you start eating ok she said. She had realized her best friend state and worried for her also but as aarav and kriya were there so she didn't asked.

"Oye my angel's devil how was your day", she asked from kids.

"So, so", said Kriya.

"And what about u Aarav"

Not good without you Sanyu masi he told

Oh so sad but when I am here then every thing will be good.

They gave high five to each other.

"But for now just go to your" she ordered

Ok masi they replied.

"Now kalpana tell me what is bothering you, said Sanyukta placing her hands on kalpana's shoulder.

Kalpana tightly hugged her best friend and started crying in her best friends arm. Why sanyukta all this happens with me only. She was crying bitterly.

Sanyukta caressed her hair and ask her to not cry.

Sanyukta's POV

I know everything kalpana what is bothering you. I know you still love him and want him back in your life. This is my promise to you I will get him back to your life soon by hook or by crook.

She remembered her talk with kalpana's doctor.

Flashback

"What happened to her doctor why she fainted suddenly and since few days she is behaving very oddly", asked Sanyukta.

She is in depression, replied doctor. And she need great care keep her away from sadness doctor added further.

Next day in Raghav's office

Receptionist: Mam, Raghav sir is busy I can't help you.

Caller: just once please its very urgent tell him that I have to tell him about Kalpana.

Receptionist: ok I am informing her.

And then she connected call to Raghav. "Sir some girl is on line and she had some important thing to tell" she said. Raghav was going as her to cut the call but before he can say receptionist added and she want to tell you about Kalpana.
