...And the reality slaps them in the face!

Hello Everyone,

So, I know that a lot of you are disheartened by this episode. However, it was actually one of the best episodes according to me. I absolutely LOVED the episode today. Oh I know, you may look at me like I am some crack-head in need of my regular dosage 😆.

Why, you may wonder? What is this crazy girl on about now? But believe me when I say that today's episode was a much needed reality check that was given to them. Yes, I loved the last episodes. I loved that Raghav got some positive signs. However, I think amongst all that determination and enthusiasm that Raghav was making Kalpi believe, Kalpi forgot something really important - Raghav doesn't rule the world! She agreed to work on building the bridge, forgetting for a second how much difference there really is in between them. For a second, she forgot that society sees them as two sides of the same coin. They have their backs facing each other, but can never really face each other directly.

I am so happy and thankful to the CVs that they didn't forget the importance of this track, in between all the romance! Don't get me wrong. I love RagNa. I absolutely adore them. Yes, I pick out mistakes and things that could be better but I think that's my right as an audience. Though my main point is - Why? Why did I think it was important? If Kalpi and Raghav are really planning to make this work then they should be reminded of their difference and know how much work they really need to do. For once, I really liked how Raghav tried to make her feel better. He knew that bringing up any dates would probably be not the best thing so he asked her to invite her parents out with them. It was a kind gesture. However, Raghav can't always be there to make everything better. Raghav can't expect that one nice thing will erase all. Kalpi would need to ready herself for the future. Kalpi would need to make herself strong.

Imagine this: Right now, it was just a policeman talking about her stealing, only because she wanted to file a report. In the future, what else would people say about Kalpi being in relationship with a filthy rich person like Raghav? To her, money isn't important. To him, Status isn't important. But they live in a society where both of the things are given equal importance. It's better if they conquer this and know how to tackle similar situations in the future. If they figure how to do that, then their bond would only become stronger. This was a much needed storyline.

Also, it's very understandable why Kalpi wouldn't want to do this anymore. She just got another reality check. Any girl in her situation would be pissed. I mean, come on! They were doubted just because they were poor? It's not fair. The difference in between her and Raghav is too great, and she realized that yet another time (without the goggles of the dream-world that Raghav briefly created). This gives me hope that CVs haven't forgotten the main storyline of her eventually becoming a memsaab. I think this is yet another thing that will compel her towards her goal.

So, guys chill maro! Don't worry, RagNa are the end game. No pain, no gain - So, it will come but you have to be patient 😊

first of all, YAY...another misha fan!!
And I completely agree. I was wondering what would happen after the confession, as I felt it was way too soon for ooey-gooey romance. So I am glad that the CVs put in that scene today. It shows that these two need to work on the relationship, especially Raghav. He has to convince her somehow.
I just hope we don't get a storyline where he loses everything though!

I loved the episode too. Very emotional, very touching especially the second half, from the time where Raghav observes Vitthal fussing over Kamla and Kamla still worrying for a stranger. It reiterated his respect and fondness for the Jadhavs. He has not experienced such love, care, concern, respect loving relationships and family bonds in a long time. He too can learn a lot about relationships observing the senior Jadhavs just like Kalpi does. It will also help him to better understand Kalpi and her POV.

I cried for and with Kalpi too.

I always thought of Kalpana as an old fashioned name, nani-daadi ke zamane ka types. Then I watched this show. Now I can appreciate the true meaning of this name. Now this name seems so beautiful.

Lovely post Shona. Just wanted to stop by and say hello and yet landed saying a lot more than that😆

Yaar Shana, if only I realized that you made a post before I made mine. Then I wouldn't have made it. I would have just wrote down my love of this episode at your thread 😆

My bad for that 😳

Also, feminist or no, I feel like every woman should have the self-respect that Kalpi has. It's a basic need if want to make an identity for ourselves. I am just so glad that CVs are actually touching on this that I could just dance with joy!

Great post! :)

The episode was all for the reality checks. All the dreams came shattered when kalpi opened her eyes again. It isn't easy for any girl who belonged in her criteria. Survival rates aren't so high in which people like her get what they dreamed of, instead they go with the flow and live their lives how it suppose to be. But here, she is a fighter which is a good thing. All of the insults are just making her more strong and one step closer to her dreams. I do see a lot of hurdles in between RagNa. And trust me, even though I really want Kalpi to find her ways to achieve her goals. I don't want to see her relationship getting ruined by the circumstances either. And definitely don't want her to lose from Pakhi. She is also a vital character which might play a huge hurdle in Her ways all the time. What Raghav and Kalpi needs to do is to set their relationship status. I feel it is important and plays a major role. They necessarily don't have to be open about it. Their understanding is more important than showing off their relationship. I think once they both accepts it without telling anyone but themselves then life will become a bit easier. With that they can always be with each other all the time and achieve what they want to have in life.

Shona.. I simply loved today's episode too..!!

But what makes me lose my sanity and calm.. is bit of anxiousness that I have, weather... Raghav will go back on his ways and revenge mode.. or will he get closer to Kalpi.. because.. somewhere.. what if Raghav now uses Paakhi?? to make Kalpi jealous/ revenge Kapoors..
In addition we have Mother in Between.. who has this attitude of Rich Vs. Poor.. I saw irritation on her face when, those people called her poor.. she was like.. I am not poor..!! This is all messing up.. things for Raghav..!!

I am glad.. Kalpi.. has opened her eyes.. and have refused to fall deeper for Raghav.. but.. I want to see Raghav now.. what are his ways to clean up the mess he has created.. with Paakhi... does he add to it.. or clean it..!!
Kalpi is saved from major heart break.. by not falling for him any deeper.. and enjoying superficial moments of love life..!!

Sejal yaar, don't worry! Think of it this way, if Raghav does go back to his rude self, then at least this time it will sort of be justified. I mean, he won't completely understand where she is coming from yet so he will be confused at why she's breaking it off. Plus, we would get to see a lot of nok-jhok and fight. I love those fights!

On a serious note, I don't think that he will use Paki. I mean, he already knows that she has feelings for him and it would be dumb of him to assume that those feelings are completely gone for him. So, to do that would be self-destruction. I think he still wants revenge on the Kapoors but not through Paki anymore. I think that at first, he may be mad but he will eventually realize where Kalpi is coming from. Then, he will work on bridging the gap between them. Watching so far in the show, I think he wouldn't give up so easily just because of this. So don't worry.

And I am sensing something from the mother too. I feel like she will like Paki better, because of how Paki is treating her right now. And then she may want Raghav to marry her instead and then it will create the whole drama with Raghav's family. I hope that my interpretation is entirely wrong but that's what I feel. However, for now, I don't want to think about things like that. I want to only focus on what's going on right now and enjoy the show. Let CVs do all the thinking 😉

Oh, and I so hope that Raghav sort of cleans up his mess with Paki somehow. I don't want any trouble there. Even though I know that there will be in the future. But agreed, if that does happen then at least Kalpi has momentarily washed her hands off from those troubles. I am just curious where the story is heading from here.
