CHAPTER 37- NIGHT OF DARKNESS

"TRUST IS A VERY FINE THREAD. YOU BREAK IT AND PAY FOR IT TILL DEATH."

Life is very unpredictable. The moment you think everything is going your way, the tables turn and everything goes against you. Sahil Kapoor is one of those men who think no end of themselves and thus end up digging their own graves. The man who met the lady in dreamers garden was none other than Sahil Kapoor. And the lady was an orphanage caretaker Pawanpreet a.k.a PP. But to their dismay someone heard their whole consignment convo.

Mohan (Kapoor's peon) happened to pass by that garden while going home when he saw two cars coming to a halt. He recognized Sahil's car and thus found it fishy for him to have a meeting at a garden at the nth hour of the day. He went nearer to the place where Sahil was standing and saw a lady with him. He quickly hid under the bushes and heard each and every word as to how Sahil Kapoor and the lady with him was involved in human exploitation and that too of children.

Once the duo left the place he knew what he had to do and thus he straight went home and dialed a number "Hello Deepu!! Mujhe tumhari thori madat chahiye. Vo baat yeh hai ki businessman Sahil Kapoor bacchon ki taskari ka kaam kartey hain. Sashaya orphanage naam ke ashram ki ek aurat bhi unke saath mili hui hai aur uss aurat ka naam Pawanpreet hai. Dekh tu kuch kar beta." To his luck Ayesha was not at home when he told everything to Deepu.

Here Ayesha was finding difficulties with some documents and so she went to Prem for guidance. As soon as Ayesha entered Prem's cabin he started taunting her "Kya hua tumhe toh sab pata hota hai. Kaam theek se nahi pata kya? Meri madat chahiye tumhe?" Ayesha looked straight into his eyes and said "Nahi mujhe mere boss Prem Kapoor ki madat chahiye tum jaise idiot ki nahi. Toh batao mere boss kahan hai." Prem was shocked would be an understatement "Iss ladki ne toh ek hi saath meri taarif bhi ki aur bezati bhi. Vaise main itna kyun soch rahi hoon iske bare mein. Kyun issey tang karne ke liye mauke dhoondh ta hoon. Aaj tak kisi ladki ne mujhe itna bechain nahi kiya hai phir yeh kyun?" While on the other hand Ayesha was going through the same thoughts "Kya hogaya hai mujhe. Mai toh iski bezati karna chahati thi phir taarif kyun ki maine?" they both came out of their thought and Prem took the file from her hands and asked her about the problem. When Ayesha showed him the papers and the documents Prem was literally shocked. The documents had and the company accounts did not match at all. The figures and amounts were nowhere near eachother. He looked at Ayesha when she said "Prem..I mean Sir. Jab maine yeh file dekhi toh calculations ke baad accouts ke figures ke saath tally karne ki koshish ki par inme toh itna fark hai jaise zameen aur asmaan." Prem looked at her and said "Mujhe store se purani accounts ki files laani hogi. Kuch toh gadbad hai. Yeh sab toh dad handle kartey hain phir unhe pata kaise nahi chala." Once he got the old files both Ayesha and Prem noticed that there was wrong information on every file and money from company's account was being taken out in regular basis apart from employee salary and party expenses. When Prem enquired about it from the bank manager personally he got to know that the money from company's account was withdrawn on a regular basis by Sahil Kapoor himself. This left both Ayesha and Prem confused.

Next day Ayesha asked for a half day to which Prem said "Mai tumhe half day dunga agar tum mujhe apne saath leke chalogi toh." Ayesha was a bit taken aback but then Prem said "Ab naukri ke dusre hi din tumhe half day chahiye toh insvestigation toh banti hai na." She nooded with a sigh and left the office along with Prem. Ayesha asked Prem to stop the car near a building. She asked him to follow her and Prem agreed like a small child.

PS : TODAY TILL HERE ONLY. NEXT PART TOMORROW AND I WILL FINISH THE FF BY TOMORROW. I HAVE SHORTEN UP THE STORY. PLEASE BARE WITH ME. I LEAVING FOR DEHERADUN ON 20^TH AUGUST EARLY MORNING. I WILL RETURN AFTER DECEMBER ONLY SO IF YOU WANT I CAN KEEP THE FF ON HOLD TILL THEN OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER A RUSHED UP FF. SORRY EVERYONE.
