Part 30B update ( now complete):

The phone drops from his hands and tears form in hi eyes!
Kalpi can never become his ever if she finds this out! Mom bribed the supervisor???! How could she? Why did she? Prem went and banged his fists on the wall repeatedly! Why is that no one wants me to be with Kalpi! Every time I try to amend things between us our past surfaces!
Prem had spoken to Kalpana about her results and he had promised her to make an enquiry into the same. However when he had called he had been informed that the papers were already submitted for revaluation. He knew that Kalpana had not given her papers for reval then who must be it? However he used his resources to find out what had happened. Oh no! said Prem wiping his face full of tears. If the person who has given her paper for reval comes to know of this Kalpana will never even look at my face! She will never trust me!
He picked up his mobile and made a few calls here and there. He asked the person to meet up with the supervisor who was bribed by Neetu to separate her supplements to show it had fallen off and to fail Kalpi in her exams! He made arrangements so that the paper which was in reval will be calculated properly but no one is to know about Neetu! This is what I can do for you Mom! As far as your involvement in this you will have to give me some answers he muttered under his breath. I just dont have the time for it now.
Back in Delhi, Raghav and Kalpi had gone out to see around a few places in Delhi! They saw the India Gate, Qutub Minaar and by 4pm reached Lodhi Gardens. It was a big garden, beautiful. Kalpi loved Gardens and she wanted to spend some time there. They did exactly that spend some quality time with each other before they decided they have to get back to the hotel and then to the get together! The first day was to be for mere formality. It was a grand dinner and for people to break the ice and get to know the others from the builders assocn.
Prem left for the airport. He kept calling to know if the work he had assigned has been carried out perfectly! Then while sitting in the plane waiting for take off he closed his eyes with the only relief that he would get to see Kalpana tonight!
Kalpi and Raghav reached the room. She was too tired and so was Raghav. She wanted to have some tea so they ordered tea in their room itself! Kalpi wanted to change but then did not want to repeat the morning incident.
They both had tea and Raghav just lied down on the bed to get a power nap! Kalpi smiled. She did enjoy the day and especially some time in the garden where Raghav had tried lying down on the grass on her insistence and he did with his head on her lap.
They talked about a few things and Raghav seemed quite happy too! He wouldn't stop smiling at all! Kalpi looked at the watch and thought it better to start getting ready. She remembered to take her clothes and make up kit along this time to the washroom.
She took a bath to get fresh and wore a nice royal blue saree with silver border. The blouse was a simple one with mega sleeves.
She checked herself in the mirror and was happy that she looked presentable after some light make up and letting her hair loose after brushing them up!
She stepped out and saw that Raghav was not on the bed. She checked the sitting area and he was there as usual over the phone, this time with Sammy! He was asking him if he reached on time and if he will come for the dinner directly. While talking he glanced at Kalpi and told Sammy to call him once he reaches the venue! He looked at Kalpi who looked impeccable and beautiful!
He just walked upto her and pulled her by the waist and hugged her saying she looked gorgeous!
Kalpi freed herself and said I know! Raghav raised an eyebrow and smiled! She is turning wilder and bolder by the minute Raghav! I need to tame her and control her! Well once I claim her she will be all mine! How I love my junglee billi!
He kept going closer to her making her walk backwards. She kept walking till she reached bedroom and she hit the bed and fell backwards onto the bed. Raghav leaned on her and came close to her face. Kalpi shut her eyes tight! This time Raghav found her to be stiff and realised that she did not like him cornering her at every opportunity he gets!
S***t! He thought in his head! I am scaring her! Oh no I hope she doesn't think I am a despo and is only after her for...
Damn my hormones that get active on seeing Kalpi. Raghav I had told you to control. It hurt him to see Kalpi close her eyes in disgust, fear or distrust! He backed off mumbling a sorry and dashed off to the washroom saying he will be back soon.
Kalpi thanked her deva that HE gave Raghav sadbuddhi (goodbrains) to realise that she was not comfortable!
Off late raghav was getting more physical not that she did not like it but he never waited for her signal. But today she felt he was sensitive to her feelings too! She scolded herself for doubting him! If he really had wrong intentions Kalpi he would have misbehaved with you when he had the chance reminding herself of the towel incident.
She sighed and waited for Raghav at the sitting area! Raghav chided himself and was worried sick! He should have not done that! Ofcourse she will think you have wrong intentions the ticket booking, the hotel suite and you calling her your wife, you never bothered to even ask her if she was fine with it! She is not like other girls Raghav to be called RS's wife just for the heck of it!
She is independant and has lots of self respect. I think I hurt her pride somewhere! I should redeem my actions.
They both did not talk much later and reached the venue directly. Sammy joined them and whispered into Raghav's ears, So how did you like the surprise? Raghav looked at him confused? What surprise? Honeymoon suite! It struck to him now! The staff was right it was Sammy who had changed the details when the mail was sent to approval and he had booked the hotel suite.
Raghav was now very angry! You crazy Sammy she now doubts my intentions! And all this thanks to you! I better spend the night in your room unless she thinks I am taking advantage of her.
The get together was at a very big banquet hall and most of the people knew each other. Kalpi befriended a few ladies from the other companies and she was glad to get this opportunity. Someday you will be one of these successful business tycoons Kalpi she thought in her head!
She tried and avoided Raghav most of the evening. He was busy discussing his plans with Sammy and Maya who had also reached there. Maya spoke to Kalpi for a while and then moved on with Kalpi shifting throught he crowd when someone tapped her shoulder and she turned around! Hi! Kalpi smiled and said Hi to you too!
Prem was grinning from ear to ear! Wow you look great! And blue!
Is your favourite colour said Kalpi with Prem! They both laughed!! So how was your day asked Prem?
Kalpi: Ya actually saw few places a bit tired.
Prem: But you look so fresh!
Kalpi: And how was yours? Prem had a glint of disappointment in his eyes and said nothing much was looking forward for this meet!
Kalpi: Ya I know, Hey you carry on maybe you need to make contacts and stuff. So go ahead will catch up with you tomorrow!
Raghav had noticed Kalpi and Prem together. Before he could even think of anything Sammy whispered in his ears what is that cheapo doing with our Kalpi? And why is she so friendsly to him.
Looks like they have become fast friends! I hope this is not any of Prem's new tricks.
Raghav noticed the comfort level Kalpi had while conversing with Prem. He was getting wild and angry. He clenched his fists and his jaws. He looked at Prem as if he would eat him raw. These Kapoors are always ready to spoil my life!
First the parents and now the children! He was about to pounce on them when dinner was announced and everyone was to be seated on tables allocated to them! Kalpi left and reached Raghav's table. He hissed at her and held her right arm tightly. What the hell do you think you were doing talking to that filthy person there? Kalpi's arm hurt and Raghav's nails digging into her skin made it even more painful. But above all the physical pain she felt bad that he does not trust her! She felt really bad! Unshed tears in her eyes she looked at Raghav with anger and replied. Firstly just let go off me! 'You' are not my husband!!! Secondly I would expect you not to judge my friends as doing so would mean you do not trust my capabilities of judging a person. I am a groen up woman and no one tells me whom I should talk to or not!
And yes you are not my Father too! What do you think of yourself Sir!? Just because I am your employee does not give you full rights on me. Atleast the Prem I know is a gentleman unlike you who lie and connive to get me into the same room with you!
Raghav dropped his hands in disbelief! His worries had come true! She thought all this was his ploy! No Kalpi listen I did not do any of this! I mean please let me explain. I was just worried knowing that Prem had taken advantage of your goodness in the past!
Kalpi retorted well that was past! Just because he was not a good person then does not mean I do not give him a chance to mend his ways to be a good person!
And now we do not talk about it further. They finished their dinner and Kalpi was disappointed again. She was thinkg we are not even a couple yet and we are already having fights. How will he trust me for his life!!!? If this is the cast then I am done for!
It hought it could be nice dinner date! But alas! he had to spoil everything! She saw Prem looking at her from the other table and him smiling at her! She responded with a smile unknowingly.
Prem had changed a lot. She saw the change in him and even Kamla had told her that he seemed to have changed for good!
He was so sweet to her and so respectful to her. His small actions had her impressed. She knew he could easily buy books for her but he had just lent her the books as he knew she would not like to be given gifts. That was common factor among them. They both loved to read and mostly the same authors. He seemed nice to her naturally! Why would he take advantage of me!?
Akash who was with Prem was trying to mingle with others and kept talking to Prem. He then received few calls and smiled on receiving a text message from Pooki. He was smiling while reading it when Prem asked him what did Pooki write that made him give such a big smile! Aakash froze his smile vanished.
What Prem? Pooki? Message? Errr.. Ahem what are you talking about? Prem looked at him coolly. Just because I dont taunt you both or tease you both does not mean I am unaware of whats cooking between you too. I know my sis too well. So? Aakash takes out his hanky to wipe off the sweat on his forehead.
Prem smiles and tells him I really dont mind you two together, Hell even mom wanted it! However do remember I have my eyes on you! So if you try to double cross me or my sis then you will regret!.
After dinner they all left for their hotels to their respective rooms. Maya left for her guest house as she was originally from Delhi. She had asked Raghav and Sammy to join her with Kalpi too. Raghav had said he'd think about it! Sammy, Akash and Prem were checking into their rooms when Prem heard a staff ordering an assistant that Mr Singhaniya has ordered for new towels in his suite! Also he has ordered for a fresh flower arrangement with 25 red and white roses for Mrs Singhaniya. Here's the message you need to attach with it. Hurry up!
The attendant leaves hastily and Prem follows him. He asks for the room number of RS and also wants to read the message!
The attendant is reluctant in the beginning but later gives in when he gets few 1000Rs from Prem. He reads it...and is shocked!
It read... Kalpi I am so sorry for my behavior today! I really love you! You mean the world to me so cant see you angry! Please forgive me! And accept my love!
He returns the card. And leaves for his room. Once in his room he clutches his hair in despair and sits on the edge of the bed. Tears brimming in his eyes he felt a pain surge in his heart!
Did Kalpana actually marry Raghav? They are sharing a room? He did notice mehendi on her hands. Did they get married as per the rituals? What how and when? And what did that card mean? His whole world came crumbling down! He could no longer bear the pain and he wanted to die! He thre his clothes on the floor and changed into a new set of clothes determined to meet Kalpana. He called her and asked her if he could meet her!
Kalpana was surprised as it was almost haf past ten! She asked him why? Is it important cant you wait till tomorrow? Prem said it was urgent! She gave him her room number and said but only for 5 minutes as I need to go to bed tomorrow I have a long day.
She kept the phone when she heard someone knocking and was pleased to see the roses. The attendant changed the towels and kept the flower arrangement in the sitting area. She checked the card which was from Raghav. She read it making her smile. She dialed Sammy's room and on the first ring it was Raghav who answered it!
Miss me? Kalpi smiled! Nice flowers! And thanks for understanding me. Raghav felt nice to hear that she was no more angry! I am sorry Kalpi he said. Now dont worry I will stay from today with Sammy ok?
Kalpi wished him goodnight and waited for Prem. She heard a knock again and saw Prem and let him in! She saw his eyes were bloodshot red and it seemed to her he had been crying. He looked at the roses and then her. So you got married is what I heard Prem said with a disappointed smile.
Kalpi was taken aback at first then relaxed. No Prem nothing of that sort Prem she said and worried he might say something to pooki who in turn would say to Kamla!
Kalpi explained the entire thing to him and Prem nodded his head. Kalpana you are so innocent. I think it is all a plan. Dont you see this will spoil your name. Kalpi asked him to relax and said see Raghav is not in this room. He is sharing it with Sammy. Even I was doubtful in the beginning but later he proved that he had not done any of this intentionally!
Phew was he relieved to hear that or what? Prem actually let out a huge sigh of relief and slumped into the sofa nearby! He was emotionally drained and now all he wanted to do was sleep.
Kalpi gave him a glass of water and he gulped it. Then he rose saying its too late as its conference the next day! Goodnight Kalpana he said softly to her looking into her eyes. His heart now dancing and wanting to sing. He smiled and slowly touched her cheeks. Take care! I was worried for you. Just remember I am just a call away in case...
Kalpi nodded and said Me thinks very soon you will become my 2AM friend! Prem let out a small laugh and went back to his room. He felt as if now he can handle anything in this world. Bring it on!
Because Kalpana was still very much single!
Kalpi too tired to analyse or think about the day just plonked on to the bed and dozed off! zzz
