CHAWL

Come what may...I will put my papers tomorrow...i cant lose my self- respect anymore...thought Kalpi... before going to sleep..

Kamla came after meeting pakhi. By that time, Kalpi slept. Vittal got so frustrated and gave ultimum to kamala.

please henceforth don't hurt my princess feelings, I was always protecting you and supporting you by telling you love her the most , but everytime I fail to prove. I beg you give me a chance to prove it to kalpi, whatever I said about you to her is true...please kamala. She is our daughter. Show her your love.

Kamala felt very bad about her behavior.

RAGHAV'S HOUSE

Raghav was thinking about kalpi in his bedroom..

I don't know what happened to me..why I am like this ? why I am allowing kalpi to change myself...No. I am not going to allow this. Let her resign and go and I wont be seeing her.

Next day...

CHAWL

Kalpi...beta..get up...it is already late...you need to go to office...

Kalpi..utto beta... dabba bhi thaiyar hai...

Kamla in her mind...yeh kya huwa kalpi ko aaj...ut nahi rahi hai. She went near to her and started shaking her and suddenly realized that kalpi is having fever.

Vittal, jaldi aavo..kalpi ko tej bhukar hai. Vo isiliye utt nahi rahi hai. Vittal got worried and touched her forehead and started calling kalpi.

As she was not responding properly, he lifted her and put her in the sofa to make her comfortable. He called pakhiya to bring an auto to go to the doctor.

Kamala brought cold water and cloth and started putting in kalpi's forehead to reduce the fever. Immediately, kalpi started responding and opened her eyes. Vittal and kamala got little relieved.

aayi, kya time hai. Mujhe office jana hai. Ek jarrori kaam hai. Kalpi was recollecting her decision she took last night.

Nahi beta, aaj tum office ka chutti le lo. Tumko tej bhukaar hai. Raghav baba se mai bhol dhungi. Tum chinta mat kar. Raghav baba kuch bhi nahi kahenge. Kamala was stubborn that kalpi should not go to office.

Haan beta, hum doctor ke paas jayenge aur ek injection lagakar aayenge. Pakhiya ne auto pakedkar aa jayega abhi. Tum bhilkul office nahi jayegi. Vital confirmed kamala's conversation.

Kalpi could not talk anything. teek hai baba, par mujhe office mein phone karke bhol ne do', phir mai rest karoongi..i promise. Kalpi told.

Teek hai tumhi bata do raghav baba se..main phone lekar aati hoon. Kamala went to pick her phone as kalpi's phone was lost already in the jungle.

Kalpi is not at all comfortable to talk to Raghav. So, she decided to talk to Sammy. She dialed sammy's number. She could not sit in the sofa. Her whole body was shivering. She called up Sammy.

OFFICE :

Sammy : Hello!

Kalpana: Sammy sir, I am kalpana here..(in a very low voice)

Sammy : Kalpana, what happened ? why you are not coming to office? And you voice is also not great? Kya hua? Sab teek hai?

Kalpana : nahi Sammy sir, actually, I am having high fever. Infact, I could not sit also. That's why I called.

I cant come to office today. Please inform Raghav sir.

Sammy : (Understandingly)..ok kalpana. No need to come. You first take care of yourself. You don't worry. I will inform Raghav. Bye.

Kalpana :Bye.

Sammy felt very bad for kalpana and went to Raghav's cabin to inform Raghav.

Raghav,kalpana aaj office nahi aayegi. Usko tej bhukar hai. Abhi usne phone kiya aur tumhe inform karne ke liye bholi thi.

Raghav got so worried for kalpana but at the same time keeping his khadoos face ,

Sab natak. She is purposely doing this. She wants to delay my project and meeting. That's why she is doing this. I am also not going to leave this. Time is money for me.

Tum abhi usko phone karo aur hamara naya project ka sara papers usko aaj hi ready karna hai. Usko gaadi bhejo aur usko office aane ke liye bholo. Let her finish her work and then let her not come at all. I don't care. Par aaj usko office aakar sab kaam phoora karna hi hoga..

PART - II

Raghav was very clear to Sammy. Sammy felt so bad hearing this, but at the same, he knows, kalpana is playing an important role in this project. And they cant postpone the 1^st launch meeting today at 3 pm.

He is not at all in the mood to call kalpana, but as he knows his friend very well, he does not want to rub the wrong side. He recollected the conversation between Raghav and Kalpana last night at the hotel and somehow wants Kalpana to come with bright colours from this project. Afterall, it is a win-win situation for his friend Raghav and a good future to Kalpana, he thought.

He called Kalpana in the same number from which she called him. Kamala attended the phone as kalpana was sleeping.

Kamala : Hello..

Sammy : Hello. Ji. I am Sammy from Raghav's Office. Kya main kalpana se bhaat kar saktha hoon?

Kamala : Beta, kalpana ko bhukar hain. Aur vo abhi so rahi hai. Kuch bolna hai kya uss se. mujhe bata dena, main bhol dhoongi.

Sammy : actually, main uss se do minute ke liye bhaat karna chahta hoon. Kya pls aap usko utta sakthe hain. Pls..

Kamala : teek hai beta.

Sammy was feeling very bad after this..but wants to give a try to talk to kalpi.

Here, kamala started waking kalpana, who is very sick and shivering due to cold fever. Infact, they are waiting for pakhiya to come and take her to doctor.

Kamala : kalpi beta, tumhara liye phone hai, Sammy sir.

Kalpana: (still in sleepy mode due to fever, half open her eyes)...sammy sir. !?

Kamala : haan...sammy sir, kuch tumse jarrori bhat karna hai. Do minute ke liye, lo, baat karo..

Kalpana: (taking the phone from kamala). Hello! Sammy sir!

Sammy : kalpana, sorry to disturb you..have you taken any medicines for the fever. You really sounds very bad.

Kalpana: nahi sir, my brother has gone to bring the auto. Will be going to the doctor in some time now.

Sammy : kalpana, suno, I have a request to you. Raghav wants you right now in office for the documents to be prepared for the meeting. You know very well today is the first launch meeting of this big project. And you know raghav, he wants the papers to be ready before the meeting.

Kalpana : par, sir!!!

Sammy : I understand, kalpana. I am sending you the car to your house. Please come to the office. I will call the doctor here itself. I will help you in your work also. Just come for couple of hours and you can go back. Can you please come?

Kalpana : ok sir, I will come. But, please don't worry sir. No need to send me car. Any ways, the auto will come anytime now. I will come in the auto only. I will finish my work before time.

Sammy : thank you kalpana, but, are you sure you don't want car? Raghav told me to send the car to your house.

Kalpana : (got really irritated hearing his name and firmly). No sir, I don't want any car. I will come myself.

Sammy : thank you kalpana. Thanks a lot. I know you are not keeping well but so nice of you, you agreed to come in spite of that. Thank you.

Kalpana : it's ok. Sir. I don't want anyone to suffer because of me.

OFFICE :

Raghav entered sammy's cabin and heard almost the last line of Sammy to kalpana. He somewhat, doesn't like that.

Irritated, he asked, "what is the necessacity to tell so many thanks to an assistant"? what happened to you Sammy?

Come on Raghav. She is so unwell but she is so nice, agreed to come for our work, Sammy replied. He is not at all comfortable calling kalpana.

As told to kalpana, he thought of calling the doctor to his office and told raghav about it.

Raghav got more irritated about sammy's concern for kalpana. He could not accept it.

"I don't think you need to call a doctor for her. She is very strong and stubborn. She can very well take care of herself. I think you are overreacting for her".

He left sammy's cabin telling this to him.

Sammy was somewhat confused and at the time wondered about his peculiar behavior. But choosed to ignore it. He started preparing the papers required for kalpana.

CHAWL :

Kalpana is not feeling good at all. She felt like, she almost lost all the energy. Her whole body was aching and shivering. But, at the same time, as told to Sammy she doesn't want anyone to suffer because of her. she wants to finish the paper works and the documents and give her resignation letter also today itself. She doesn't want to work with Raghav anymore. She has decided. Just two hours...just two hours...i have to be with him. That's it...then it is over. I never want to face him in my life.

His only goal is to demotivate me and disrespect me. Enough for me now. Am not going to tolerate this. Let me go and finish my work and come fast.

Thinking all this, she slowly got up from the sofa. Kamala seeing this, came to her.

"kya hua beta. Tumko kuch chahiye. Bas, abhi pakhiya aa jayega. Phir hum doctor ke pas chhallenge. Ek injection lagaoge na, sab teek ho jayega. Do din aaram karna. Phir kaam ke liye ja sakthe ho",kamala felt happy to be with her daughter after vittal's conversation yesterday.

"nahi aayi, actually mujhe office jana hai, sirf do ghante ke liye. Ek urgent kaam hai. Khatam karke aa jaoongi. Phir aaraam karoongi. Par mujhe abhi jaana hai. Main khud doctor ko dikha deti hoon. Promise aayi. Please mujhe jaane do.

"par, kalpi..beta tum bimar ho. Aise kaise akhele jaa sakthi ho."

Aayi, mujhe jaana hai. Isiliye mujhe Sammy sir ne phone kiya. Tumhi humesa bolti hai na, kaam ko adhoora chhodna nahi chahiye. Pls aayi, main teek hoon.

Teek hai, par tum kuch peekar jaana. Aur akheli nahi jayegi tum. Pakhiya bhi saath aayega. Pakhiya auto lene ke liye gaya hain na, usime chali jana. Par jaldi aa jana.

Aayi, teek hai. Pakhiya mujhe office mein chodkar aayega. Aur main vapas khud aa jaoongi. Phikar mat karo. Aur, mujhe kuch bhi khane, peene ki man nahi hai. Isiliye kuch bhi nahi chahiye.

In the mean time, pakhiya came with the auto. Vittal also came after taking bath. Kalpana started changing herself into a churidhar slowly.

Kamala explained to Vittal about everything and convinced him to allow kalpana to go to office. Though Vittal was very concerned, he still allowed her to go, but gave strict instructions to Pakhiya to leave her at the Office and while going to office asked him to show kalpana to the doctor.

Kalpana and Pakhiya started for office and in the way when pakhiya insisted about baba's instructions to show her to the doctor, kalpana convinced him by telling the priority of office work and promised him that she will show herself to the doctor.

OFFICE :

Kalpana entered the office and literally she was in a bad shape. Sammy greeted her and made her comfortable. Kalpana felt very tired and felt very shivering inspite of putting her shawl over the dupatta.

Sammy couldn't see her in this position and ordered a hot coffee for her, but she rejected saying that she is not feeling to have it.

Raghav was busy working and at the same time thoughts of kalpana started troubling him a lot. He knows that she is not lying and actually she is not well, but he wants to see her very badly. He couldn't control himself.

Suddenly, a phone call disturbed his thoughts. It was a call regarding the project. He answered the call and confirmed the meeting at 3 pm. He called Sammy in the intercom to inform about the same. As Sammy was sitting with Kalpana, he did not answer the intercom.

Wondering what happened, Raghav came out of his cabin to go to sammy's cabin. When he came out, he saw kalpana sitting in her place alongwith Sammy and doing some work.

He saw her and felt shocked. She was looking so ill and in a bad state. His heart went for her. He felt like hugging her tightly and take all her pain into his. He controlled all his emotions and showing straight face came in front of them.

Seeing Raghav suddenly before them, both kalpana and Sammy got out of their chairs.

Kalpana ; Good morning, sir.

Raghav : this is not morning miss.jadav. going to be afternoon. You are late to office.

Kalpana ; but, sir, actually, I am not...

Raghav : I don't want to waste my time hearing any excuses. Having a meeting at 3pm. I want all the papers at my table in one hour's time. That's it. And Sammy, can you please come to my cabin. Need to talk to you.

Sammy : Raghav, I am just helping kalpana, so that the work will get over fast.

Raghav : no need to become an assistant for an assistant. Please come, to my cabin right now.

Sammy was like, (why, raghav, why...why are you behaving so badly to kalpana)...ok. am coming..

(To kalpana) Kalpana, try to do as much as you can, and the balance I will take care. Please don't force yourself. Don't feel bad about raghav's words. I don't know what happened to him from yesterday. He is in a very bad mood.

Saying this, he went inside raghav's cabin.

Inside Raghav's cabin:

Sammy : Raghav, what happened yaar? You are seeing kalpana na. she is not well and she still came to do her work. And you are talking to her so rudely.

Raghav : exactly, she came here to do her work..which she is supposed to do..let her finish her work and go. I don't want to see her at all. Because of her, all my work got delayed. I don't want anymore delays. So no more argument on this.

Sammy : ok. Raghav. As you wish. Tell me, why you called me?

Raghav : Raj called and meeting is confirmed. Can you please take all the blueprints and arrange it. I have some more calls to do before going to the meeting..

Sammy : ok..i will do that. You don't worry. Going to my cabin. Having all the blue prints there. Will take some time. But I will finish it. Be cool. Bye..

Then, raghav started making some calls continuously and at the same time his eyes are seeing kalpana in his LCD.

After an hour and half :

Kalpana somehow managed to finish her and took the papers and went to raghav's cabin. She knocked the door. Raghav got so stressed out seeing her in front of his cabin. He signed her to come in.

He could not see in her eyes. He could feel he is melting. He scared that he will lose his control. He was telling to himself to be strong and emotionless.

Kalpana was standing before him. He did not ask her to sit also. And at the same time, he got a call in his mobile.
