Capricorngirl > Ever since I saw you in Gul Gulshan Gulfam , I'm a big fan of yours. You know what? I had a crush on you. You are a very good actor. Keep up the good work!!
Vishal Singh > Thank you. And I hope you have been watching my new shows too.

Smita > Hi Vishal Bhayya. How are you? You are doing great job in Astitva -Ek Prem Kahaani. Can you tell what are the opportunities for new comers in this line? Will they have to struggle more (I am asking this as I plan to shift to Mumbai) Right now I am acting in Kannada serials.
Vishal Singh > If you already have an acting experience, it's already a head start for you. You must come to Mumbai and try. Yes, there is a lot of competition but at the same time there is a place for everyone. Thank you.

Baba > Tell me about yourself and your career.
Vishal Singh > I have always been passionate about my acting - films and TV in general. And I have been able to turn my passion into a career. I love that.

Roma > Are you a very shy guy by nature? Why don't we see too much of you in the media?
Vishal Singh > I am not shy by nature but I don't like to talk too much about my personal life in media.

Sonia > Vishal, what was your age when you acted in Dekh Bhai Dekh and what's your height?
Vishal Singh > My height is 5'8. I was around 21.

Priyanka > What is the meaning of relationship mean for you?
Vishal Singh > Relationship is the essence of life and that is what we survive on, as we all have different kinds of relationships in life. Whatever relationship one is into, there should be lot sincerity involved in it.

Kali > You fall in the category of actors like Shahid Kapoor who have a cute little-boy faces. Isn't it a hindrance in your line of work because all the time you may not get a heroine who matches your chemistry.
Vishal Singh > I used to have that problem 2-3 years back but now, surprisingly, it does not exist anymore, as now there are a lot of options in casting and a whole lot of talented girls on TV.

Smita > I used to watch Dekh Bhai Dekh regularly. It was too funny! When can we see you like that? Are you and Urvashi (Dholakia) still in contact?
Vishal Singh > I really enjoyed doing a comedy and whenever I get a good offer I would love to do something like Dekh Bhai Dekh again. Yes, we do bump in to each other at parties etc. Urvashi played 'Shilpa' in the serial.

Smita > Your birthday?
Vishal Singh > 16 th of Jan.

Mimmi > Is it true that you want to become a film director in the future? What sort of films would you like to make -festival circuit ones or masala (commercial) indi films? Have you started working on any projects? Any script in hand?
Vishal Singh > Yes, I do want to get in to direction of films. And I am more inclined towards commercial cinema. I like wholesome entertainers. No, not yet started (film direction), as acting is keeping me very busy. Yes, I do have a story in mind but will start working on it in the near future. It's always been my dream to go to some film making school and study for a year, which will do soon.

Lili > Hey happy birthday in advance!! How are you going to celebrate it?Is there anyone special in your life right now?
Vishal Singh > I don't have a girl friend. But all my close friends and my family is going to be with me on my birthday. Thank you.

Sonia > Vishal, you are evergreen. For so many years I am watching you and you remain the same. How do you maintain. But, don't you think you have gained weight?
Vishal Singh > Yes, I have gained weight (smiles). And I am working to lose it. I don't know how I maintain (my looks) but I guess a positive attitude towards life always helps.

Roohine > What sort of a woman would you like as your life partner? And why aren't you married yet? Don't you want to marry?
Vishal Singh > I guess I had met the wrong girl at the wrong time and I guess some relationships don't work. For me, it's somebody whose attitude towards life is like mine, and someone who loves me sincerely. Yes, I do (want to marry) but will have to find the right girl first.

Kali > Who would you like to go out on a date with and why?
Vishal Singh > I would love to go out on a date with Nicole Kidman because there is something very warm about her and at the same time she is extremely hot.

Smita > Vishal, advance birthday wishes. May all your dreams come true. Always be happy.
Vishal Singh > Thank you so much!

Roohine > Well, what is your attitude towards life?
Vishal Singh > Well, I look at life very positively. I like to enjoy the basic pleasures of life like travelling together or just having coffee with the people you like. It's good to be ambitious but one should not get too caught up with it and ignore and overlook people around her/him.

Anant > Hi. Yaar Main Tumhe serial Dekh Bhai Dekh Ke zamaane se observe kKar Raha Hoon (I've been observing you from the time you worked in Dekh Bhai Dekh). And I believe you have a lot of promise but are yet to realise your true potential. Kya Kehna Chaoge is par (your comments). You still do the chocolate-type roles, whereas I believe you have a lot more (talent)than those stored inside you.
Vishal Singh > Well, I have done different kinds of roles. Like in serial Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa I had done a role where I was playing a nerd with specs, which I really enjoyed. Even the role I am doing in Ek Ladki Anjaani Si is not a chocolate boy role. And in the near future you will be seeing me in different kinds of roles. So keep watching.

Smita > Your email id?
Vishal Singh > I would not like to disclose my email id, as I don't get time to check mails.

Shaona234 > You are not doing much on TV. Why?
Vishal Singh > Well, I am doing two daily soaps - Ek Ladki Anjani Si and Astitva... and it's not possible to do more than this.

Mona > If not an actor, what would you have been? Also, what made you get into acting at such a young age? You were a child actor, weren't you?
Vishal Singh > I'd have been a director. I was just finishing college and my uncle, Anand Mahendroo (director of Dekh Bhai Dekh ) offered me the role. I agreed to do it as a new experience. The response turned out to be great. I extremely enjoy doing acting.
