y doesnt thulika want nikhil's child???

hey members,

i've got a question...its a very simple one for those of u who hv been watching ELAS from the beginning.y doesnt thulika want nikhil's child to come to this world??i missed the first few weeks of ELAS so im kinda confused n cannot understand y thulika is so eager to get rid of nikhil's child who hasnt even been born yet.

also wen nikhil's samples r destroyed in the fire that took place in the hospital,the doc says that was his last chance to hv a baby of his own,how so??if they were able to get his sample once then shudnt they be able to get another sample as well.y does nikhil hv to get a baby thru artificial insemenation when he has a wife!!!!!is it cos thulika is infertile???

pls pls some be kind enough to get me out of this jumble...hehehe

Here is the background you need to understand this serial:
1) Nikhil "was" a cancer patient and is 100% cured but as a side-effect is sterile. Before chemotherapy, the doctor had some of his semen samples taken so they can impregnate his wife.
2) They tried to impregnate his wife but due to incompatibility, she could not conceive. So Nikhil decided to find a woman who would get pregnant and carry his child via artificial insemination.
3) Tullika for obvious reasons does not like this concept and asked Nikhil to adopt kids instead.
4) Nikhil refused and went forth with his plans.
5) Due to a medical error, a 18 year old girl (Anu) is impregnanted. Nikhil is unaware of this until much later (if you watch the serial now, he is aware). The woman who has agreed to being impregnanted with Nikhil's sperm also got impregnanted but she ends up with a miscarriage. Soon after the semen samples get destroyed in a fire. Nikhil loses all hope of being a father until later when Dr. Nimish (who is responsible for the insemintation department) reveals to him that a mistake had occured by one of his doctors.
Now Nikhil is frantically looking for the one woman who has the key to his happiness.

And Tullika being the possessive wife that she is does not want him to meet this woman.
