Love is like the wind, you can't see it but you can feel it. Love was in the air. Life was finally like a dream, a bliss. Everything one could ever ask for. Manvi and virat were really happy with the progress in the life. Kasak - their girl - learning new things, becoming responsible, happy thinking about the addition in the family but sometimes insecure. But that was nothing to worry about. It does happens. Their second child on its way. Mitali all healthy now. Naina and maan leading a life full of happiness and surprises. Rishabh and madhu giving their life a second chance and for the first time, understanding each other like man and wife.
Like any other day, naina met manvi and broke out a news to her. Naina told manvi that madhu was also pregnant and was due the same time as manvi. Manvi was taken aback at first but then she was extremely happy. Finally rishabh was moving on. Yes he was once her boyfriend but before it, he was her friends. And now she was happy for her friend, the friendship which her husband wouldn't really like. So better keep it a secret for the time being, manvi thought.
That night, manvi planned to go out on a dinner with naina and maan. Her manav bhaiya. Its been days she met maan, he has been extremely busy in his business and shifting it in Delhi. Quite a tough job... Manvi knew.
"Its been days I saw you... I miss you..." Manvi told maan.
"I also miss you..." said naina.
"You attention seeker... Let them talk... You focus on me..." Virat told naina, offering her some wine.
Manvi giggled and looked at maan who was also smiling at the scene.
"Its business Mannu..." replied maan.
"Is it her...??" Manvi asked, looking at naina from the corner of her eye.
"What are you talking..???" Maan asked.
"Cmon... You can tell me that bhai..." Manvi leaned more into maan.
"Hmm..." replied maan.
"Let's go for a walk bhai... I need fresh air..." Manvi made an excuse.
"Main aati hoon..." said naina.
"Nahi... I'm going with bhai..." replied manvi.
"Sit with me nain... Mujhme kaante lge hai kya...??" Virat pulled down naina to sit with him.
"No... Not at all... You are still the hottest man I know..." Naina replied and winked at abeer.
"Don't flirt too much guys..." Manvi warned and went out with maan.
Reaching home back, naina wondered what did manvi had to talk to maan. She might act that she is enjoying and having fun but that doesn't mean she doesn't pays attention to what is happening around her. Carefree but not careless.
"What did you guys talk about...??" Naina asked maan who just came out of the bathroom in a black ganji and track pants.
"Nothing much..." Maan replied.
"Maan tell me no... I want to know..."
"Baby its nothing... Go to sleep..." said maan.
"Maan I'm your Wife... I have a right to know..." Naina demanded.
"Exactly my point... You are my wife... Glad u realise it. You have some duties towards me, think about it first and then we can talk about your uncountable rights..."
Naina was stunned from the reply.
Virat was waiting for manvi in their bedroom, when manvi came. She had been in kasak's room from past 20 minutes and here he was. Waiting for her to return, so that they can talk and then sleep, taking her in his arms.
"She was really sad... We didn't take her out tonight... So many complaints I tell you... And then petty demands..." Manvi said getting into the bed.
"Petty... Ya right... Uski petty demands mera budget bigaad deti hai... Big time woh bhi..." replied virat and manvi giggled.
"So how was your walk n talk mission...??" Virat asked.
"I was right... They have nothing they should be having... Newly wedded and the most important part is missing... From the time they are back to India... No action... Frustration toh hogi na..." said manvi.
"Love guru ho ya agony aunt... Manvi devi... Jai ho aapki..." Virat remarked.
"Virat seriously yaar... Nainu disappointed me this time... What is marriage...?? Just hanging out together or an affair. Its like a job... Numerous duties and I will make her understand it..." Manvi said.
"Let her be yaar... She will grow up..." Virat said.
"How much will she grow up...?? She is married now..."
"But I still wonder what was she doing at the hospital that day... On that floor... Mother n child stuff..." Virat whispered, but too aloud.
"Maternity floor... Do you think she is hiding something...?? Did u tell it to bhai...???" Manvi asked immediately.
"Yeah... I gave him a hint..."
Manvi sighed and closed her eyes. She was hoping for the best, nothing else.
"What is wrong now...??" Rishabh asked naina, who was sitting in the garden at 1 am; that too alone.
"Nothing... Come sit with me na..." replied naina.
"Nain I want to talk about a thing or two... That accident of yours..." Rishabh said.
Naina shivered and closed her eyes but a tear rolled out of her eye.
"Bhai its late... We should sleep..." said naina.
Rishabh made her sit down again and held her hand.
"It is him... Mohit... Yes or no...??" Rishabh asked looking into nain's moist eyes.
"Yes..."
Naina whispered and hugged rishabh. She wept in his arms like a baby and he craddled his baby sis in his strong arms.
"I will protect you baby... Nainu you don't have to worry..." Rishabh ran his fingers through naina's hair.
Next day, Sunday morning, virat called mohit at his place. It was high time they knock some sense into him. Virat feared what if it was mohit that was acting like a wall between naina and maan. Maan's happiness meant manvi's happiness. His wife needed to be happy, relaxed and stress free and the only thing giving her stress was maan - her beloved brother. Virat had to sort thing out. It was important for them. For their family. For every single person around him. Mohit understanding things and setting naina free will result in man's happiness. Which will indirectly make manvi happy and his baby healthy. He wanted nothing to affect the health of their unborn. Nothing at all. This baby was way too important to him. The baby was theirs. His and manvi's.
"You find it easy to say... You have got what you wanted..." Mohit said.
"Its not about me mohit. Its about you and your life. You are playing with fire. Think about the people around you bhai... Just use your brain..." Virat replied calmly.
"And it comes from you... You married manvi bhabhi in what... 3 months..?? Maya bhabhi's death did effect you but only for some time... After that you moved on... Easilyyy... You know why...?? Because you never loved her the way you love manvi bhabhi..." Mohit replied loosing his ability to think.
"Mind your tongue mohit... You have no right to talk about my personal life..." Virat spat in anger.
"Same applies for you... You guys have been messing my life... Why should I marry shikha when I love naina... Your wife wants me to forget naina... She is thinking about her brother's happiness... Why can't you think about my happiness bhai...?? Ask bhabhi to make maan understand that naina loves me... Help me for once... Please bhai..." Mohit pleaded this time.
"They are married..." came the reply.
There stood manvi with a dont-mess-up-with-me look.
"Manvi you go inside please... I will do the talking..." Virat told manvi.
"But virat..."
"Please manvi..." Virat requested.
Manvi was sitting in her room when virat came in. Manvi was way too angry listening to what mohit said and wanted to confront him so badly. But she didn't because of virat.
"I heard everything he said..." Manvi stated.
"I'm sorry manvi... You weren't supposed to hear such things..." Virat apologised.
"Why can't people forget Maya...?? Why does they always have to remind me that its her rightful place and not mine...?? why virat..?? Haven't I did everything I could... Didn't I...??" Manvi said in between sobs.
"You have done everything baby... No girl would have ever done so much... And I can't even thank you enough for it. Saying thank you hundred times a day is also not enough... Your are my world... My universe... You are my everything manvi... Everything... I love you so much... You don't want to listen to what people say..." Virat told manvi, cupping her cheeks and wipping her tears. Then he kissed her forehead.
"I love you too virat... But I never expected such a thing from mohit... I thought being our age, he would understand us better... It wouldnt have been a shocker if he said that I used kasak to get you... Or to say that kasak is Maya's... Not mine... Im not her mother... And never will I be... I'm not her mother... Everyone used to say it behind our back... I have heard it million times before but it every time it hurts more and more... I'm not her mother virat... Kasak ko Maine janam nahi diya... Main uski maa nahi hoon... Maya hai... Maayyaaa..." Manvi cried utterly this time.
"No... No... Liarrr..."
Manvi and virat looked at the door.
"Kasak..." Manvi whispered.
