Chapter 9 :

Guyz,just a small note : In my story, Vadera's respect tradition but they r open-minded.dey don't create fuss abt stuff lyk "ghar ki bahu should do dis or dat or wear traditional cloths". In fact dadaji was d one who suggested dat Virika should meet a few tyms n get to know each other more b4 they take any major decision. Both families were cool wid it.

So in next 2 weeks Virika meet 2/3 tyms n talked over phone many tyms. Every tym Virika went out, Virat n Manvi were wid dem.d four had lunch 2gether twice n dey went to see a play too. Gradually Virika became comfortable wid each other. Manvi noticed dat they enjoyed each other's company very much.On d other hand, she also had a good tym with d 3 of dem,n specially wid virat. Virat was a nice guy n a good friend. Wherever he goes, he makes d environment +ve wid his presence by spreading happiness. In sum way or d other Virat managed to make her smile. She didn't know why, but she used to 4get her pains wen she was wid virat.He always tried to lightened up her mood.This also didn't go unnoticed by jeevika. She was happy to see her mannu happy,be it for a few moments.

On d other hand, manvi was happy for Jeevika. This was no tym to b selfish .Her Di's happiness mattered most to her. Her di deserves nothing but d best. & as she came to know viren, gradually she was becoming sure he's d perfect guy 4 her di. "Bhagwan ji ,jo kuch mere sath hua,meri di k saath kabhi mat hone dena.Unko hamesha sabka pyar mile, aur woh hamesha khush rahein." She said in her mind.

Next Sunday :Dadaji invited every1 for a family dinner at V mansion. Jeevika n manvi's family were welcomed cordially by every1.Both jeevi n manvi took ashirwad from d elders .Jeevi was looking gorgeous in her crimson anarkali.Virika were stealing glances wid each other n dat gave virat a chance to tease d couple more. Every1 proceeded towards d hall n virat noticed manvi who was busy in removing her earring which was stuck in her dupatta .

'uff!! Kya musibat hai yaar!" she mumbled to herself.

She was wearing a sky-blue patiyala n kurti embroidered wid white sequence. There was an angelic aura surrounding her, at which virat stared for a few seconds b4 moving towards her.

"kya hua dedh futiya! tumko ghar mein aane k liye alag se invitation chahiye kya !! "he said teasing her.

"Dekh nehi rahe ho?M busy " she said irritated n again struggled wid her earring "oh god!!" she said to herself again.

" Itni choti si baat pe God ko pareshan kyun kar rahi ho ! wait,let me help u" he said while helping manvi. "yeh lo,nikal gaya.madam,har kaam, gusse se nehi hota.take it easy"

"Oye!! Bas haan!! Jab dekho advice shuru!" She said frowning at him.then paused a little n said 'waise,'.thanx anyways.aab andar chale? " n she moved forward but stopped as she heard virat saying "welcome.waise'.for a change, achchi lag rahi ho "

M: kya !! matlab hamesha main buri lagti hoon!!

V: nehi, actually main to tumhari dress ki tariff kar raha tha.complement tha u know!! it suits u.bhabi ne pasand ki hogi,nehi?

This made manvi more angry n she replied "tum na, hamesh chep hi rahoge! n btw,main kisi ki complement pane ke liye mari nehi ja rahi hoon!! Di ne kaha, toh unka dil rakhne ke liye pehen liya. I don't lyk dat sajna sawarna stuff!! I luv myself d way I m. ok?" n she moved on towards d hall. "jhalli hai ek number ki" virat said in mind n smiled at her antics as he followed her too.

Manvi found that viren's whole family was really sweet. N Every1 including SB, liked Manvi too.

Vanshika was looking at d dinner preparations in d dinning area when manvi came to her.

"aunti,main aapki kuch madat kar doon?" she asked

V:aare nehi beta,bas sab ho gaya.

M:waise aunty,mujhe aap se ek baat kehni thi'

V:haan kaho na !

M:Thank u aunty.

V:thankx kis liye beta !! (she asked a bit surprised)

M:thankx ,meri di ko apne family mein shamil karne ke liye.apako pata hai,jab di ka rishta aya tha na, tab main iss poore arrangement se bilkul bhi khush nehi thi.Par,dhire dhire jaise maine aap sabko jana ,mujhe yakeen ho gaya ke meri di aap sabke sath hamesha khush rahegi. My di is really lucky.

As she spoke vanshika noticed tears glistening in her eyes.Vanshika caressed her cheeks with one hand n spoke "beta, lucky toh hum bhi hai.jeevika lakhon mein ek hai. Aur pata hai main sabse lucky kyun hoon??kyunki mujhe ek bahu nehi balki do do betiyan mil gayi .

manvi looked at her surprised !!

V: haan .ek jeevika aur ek tum. Beta,tum jeevika ki behen ho to meri bhi toh beti hui na?aur, tum dono ho hi itni pyari,ke kisi ko bhi apna bana lo.

Manvi was soo moved by vanshika's gesture. she hugged her tightly while saying "thanku aunty.aap bohot achchi ho."

Vanshika caressed her hair n smiled. Virat, who was watching d duo, came near n said "kya baat hai dedh futiya, itni emotional kyun ho rahi ho!!
vanshika scolded virat gently by saying "virat,ye kya tarika hai baat karne ka !"

V: sorry mom,but main to baas ye keh raha tha ke aapne isko beti to bana liya but main aapko pehle se bata raha hoon haan,iske na pench dhiley hai.to pata nehi kab kya kar baithe! N btw, apko yeh kis angle se pyari aur sweet lagti hai! !! ( n manvi frowned at him.)

"Viraaat "vanshika said rolling her eyes n smiling at d same tym as she knew he was pulling manvi's leg.

manvi hugged vanshika from side n said "rehne do aunti ,lagta hai isko jalan ho rahi hai."

Virat: jale meri jooti !!
M: achcha!! Koi mujhe lighter de de, toh main khushi khushi tumhari jooti aur sath sath tumhe bhi jala doon !! (manvi said smiling mischievously)

Virat : you''

"bas bas,ab ladna band karo."vanshika said stopping both. "chalo, sabko khane k liye bula latein hai"

Virat raised her eyebrows at manvi n she gave her a smile signaling 'I win' b4 following vanshika .

After dinner every1 was sitting in d lawn having coffee when manvi noticed virat was signaling him. It looked like he wanted to say sth.he was trying to say sth at d dinner table also but manvi ignored him both tyms.

"jab dekho meri tang khichta rehta hai.aab main kyun sunu uski baat,huh !!!" she said in her mind n she was again busy talking wid others.

Dadaji spoke to jeevika's father " Khanna sahab,actually aap sabko dinner pe bulane ka ek aur reason hai"
VIkas: Ji !!

Dj : haan,aap to jante hi hai ,kal Vasant Panchmi hai.Darahsal baat ye hai ke, har saal iss din hum sab apne Kul Devi ke mandir jaate hai pooja ke liye.main chahta hoon ke iss baar aap sab bhi pooja mein shamil ho.aur hum soch rahein the ki wahin hum koi achcha sa mahurat dekh ke viren aur jeevika ke Roka ki tarikh bhi pakki kar denge.

"yeh to bohot achchi baat hai.hum zaroor chalege" Vikas replied happily.

Every1 was happy n virika blushed as usual.

A little bit later Manvi got up n asked Kadambari Chachi d way to washroom. She went inside d house saying KC she can manage herself, while d other were still outside. Manvi was walking n looking here n there when suddenly she felt sm1 grabbing her hand n pulling her inside a room.b4 she could react d person pinned her to d wall.she tried to scream but he put his hand on her mouth.

"aare chillao maat meri maa.Its me" he said whispering. D lights of d room were switched off. d faint moonlight coming in from d window made everything visible yet hazy at d same tym. Manvi's eyes were still popped out but she stopped struggling as she found it was virat.

"ab kuch bologi ?" virat asked

M:mmm'mmm (was d only thing manvi could say glaring at him n virat realized his hands were still on her mouth)

"oh! Sorry! " he said removing his hands quickly n manvi was breathing heavily.

"KYA HAI ?"manvi shouted at him n virat signaled her "ssshhh,dhire !!marwaogi kya!!

M: kya hai virat? She asked again but this tym softly.

V: woh, mujhe tumse kuch important baat karni hai

M: toh ye kaunsa tarika hai baat karne ka?

V: toh main aur kya karta?!! kabse tumse baat karne ki koshish kar raha tha!! but tumne notice hi nehi kiya.

M: notice kiya ,but..

V: But? Oh , ab samjha !! matlab madam jaan bujh ke mujhe ignore kar rahi thi !!!aur mujhe laga ki tumne dekha nehi !!

M:aa..umm .. khair,woh sab chodo.kya baat hai jaldi batao.mere paas tym nehi hai.

'haan woh actually'" virat stopped as a mischievous thought came into his mind .he wanted to tease manvi a bit more for ignoring him.

Manvi noticed a different smile on virat's face n d next moment he was leaning close to her.

"bata doon?"he said in a husky voice still leaning close to manvi

Manvi never felt nervous in virat's presence b4, but dis tym d closeness made her really nervous.

M:ky'kya ?? (she asked stammering)

Virat almost whispered in her ear "mujhe tumse''tumse.." n mavi closed her eyes in fear.

Suddenly he moved away from manvi n completed his sentence in casual tone "...tumse help chahiye tha,bhai aur vabi ko milane ke liye" .

Manvi opened her eyes just to find he was standing at a decent distance from her.

M:kya !! (She asked giving a confused look n signaling him to explain)

V; haan! Yehi to main tumse kabse kehne ki koshish kar raha tha.Bhai ko vabi se akele mila hai.n ye kaam tumhari help k bina nehi ho sakta.

manvi let out her breath which she was holding for so long .she slapped virat on d arm n said "toh sidhe sidhe nehi bol sakte the?ek number ke dramebaz ho tum"

V:ouch!! Kya kar rahi ho yaar!! It hurts!

M:achcha? Yeh over acting band karo ok!! aur haan, tumhara kaam ho jayega. Main kuch sochti hoon aur di ko laati hoon.tum jiju ko lana.

V:okkk boss.

Saying this they left d room n went to diff directions to accomplish their mission.

With some excuse Manvi took Jeevika wid her n almost dragged her towards d terrace where viren n virat were waiting 4 them.

Jeevika : aare mannu ,bata to sahi kahan le ja rahi hai mujhe'. (but she stopped as she saw viren)

She gave a shy look to viren n he smiled at her.He came close n spoke to manvi "thanx manvi, thanx ke tum jeevika ko yahan le ayi)

M: anything 4 u jiju.but haan,aapke dono ke paas sirf 10 minutes hai.isse zyada der huyi to sab humein dhundte huye yahan aa jayenge.

viren smiled n nodded signaling ' ok'.

"achcha bhai ,hum log apka neeche wait kar rahe hai" virat said n signaled his brother all d best n virman left dem alone.

Virat was sitting next to manvi on d stairs.manvi was busy playing wid her dupatta when virat spoke "manvi, thanx"

M:thanx kyun?

V:bhai bhabi ki meeting fix karwane mein meri help karne k liye.

M: most welcome.but ye sab maine tumhare liye nehi ,apne jiju aur di k liye kiya.

V: achcha!! Jiju ki itni taraf dari? Kuch din pehle to woh tumhe bilkul pasand nehi the!

M: maine kab kahan k woh mujhe pasand nehi the! Mera issue toh kuch aur hi tha.but ab woh sab cheezein important nehi hai.

V: itni jaldi mann badal gaya?

M: woh toh badalna hi tha !! tumharein bhai bohot suljhe huye insaan hai.(she paused a little n asked) ..waise virat..

V: hmm'.

M: tumne kabhi apni Mom se poocha nehi?

V: kya nehi poocha!!
M: yehi ,ke tum hospital mein exchange to nehi ho gaye the?

V: what !!

M: haan.I mean dekho na, tum dono bhaiyo ka koi combination hi nehi hai.kahan jiju, kitne suljhe huye insaan hai.aur kahan tum''

V: excuse me madam !! Tum kehna kya chahti ho!!

M: nehi kuch nehi..

V: Miss Choudhry ,tum mujhe abhi janti nehi ho'

M: Jitna bhi jaanti hoon na ,kafi hai. agar jiju ke barein mein meri rai correct ho sakti hai, toh tumharein barein me bhi galat to nehi hogi na!! n don't 4get, jabse main unko jaanti hoon,tumko toh usse pehle se janti hoon.

V: yeah !! 5 din pehle se,r8?

M: haan toh!! Kisi ne mujhse kaha tha ke "kabhi kabhi aap ek mulakat mein bhi kisi ko jan letein hain,aur kabhi puri zindegi bhi kam padti hai" hai na!! ( manvi asked raising her eyebrow)

V: achcha ji ,mera hi mujhko wapas!! (virat said with a fake anger on his face n dis made manvi smile n seeing this virat also couldn't help but smile.)
