Chapter-11

*Manvi's POV*

I woke up to a loud scream. I bolted out of bed and ran towards the source of the sound.

I saw Jeevika and Viren in the living room sitting on the couch casually.

"Oh, hello." Viren says nonchalantly.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" I shouted rubbing my eyes.

Viren laughed as Jeevika rolled her eyes. "It was the only way to wake you up." She said innocently.

"Are you trying to wake me up or make me go deaf?" I asked and this time they both laughed. "Nah babe, I love you too much." Jeevika winked at me and I giggled returning it. Viren rolled his eyes, "I seriously worry you're going to leave me for Manvi someday." Viren said.

I giggled as Jeevika winked at me again. "Viru, you know I love you but I love Manvi more. Nobody can beat our hoemance." I poked my tongue out at him and he ruffled my hair. "I can share you." He told Jeevika.

"But only because Manvi's so cute." I giggled. "N'aw chucks." I said flicking my hair.

Jeevika laughed. "Come on, go get ready. We're going to breakfast with the boys. I want them to meet Viren!" I sighed. "Is Christa gonna be there?" I asked making a face.

Jeevika huffed. "Sadly but we'll ignore her babe." I nodded and went to my room.

I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and wore this. I went to the living room to see Viren and Jeevika waiting for me.

We went to Viren's car and he drove off. "Where are we eating?" I asked Jeevika as I sat in the backseat. "This new breakfast cafe that opened up across the street." Jeevika informed me.

"Oooh." I said slumping back in my seat.

We parked outside the cafe and I hopped out of the car.

"Come on, slow pokes!" I told Jeevika and Viren as I ran inside. I was greeted by the sight of 3 (Barun

wasn't there yet) of my favorite boys on a table in the back, and Virat and Christa snogging.

I ignored the couple, trying to hide the pain of seeing them kiss, and walked towards the others.

"Manvi!" Arjun said jumping up to give me a hug. I giggled and happily returned the hug. I hugged the rest of the boys before sitting next to Karan.

"Hey gorgeous." Karan winked at me.

I giggled winking back. "Hello there handsome." Karan laughed and my eyes drifted to Virat who was glaring at us. He instantly looked away when I looked at him.

"Hey guys, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend Viren." Jeevika said introducing Viren.

All the boys said hi to him and they seemed to get along well which was good.

Christa actually winked at Viren which made Jeevika pull him closer while glaring at Christa. I giggled softly and Virat's eyes drifted to me again. I caught his eye and we both didn't look away.

It was like we were silently communicating with our eyes. There was so many unspoken words in both of our eyes. I saw something in his eyes that made him look like he was apologizing, I instantly looked away.

"What would you guys like to eat?" The waiter asked.

Everyone ordered what they wanted and when it came to Arjun and I we ordered half the menu.

When the waiter left Christa rolled her eyes at me. I ignored it but Jeevika however didn't.

"Problem?" She asked Christa through gritted teeth.

"Oh no...no problem other than the fact you eat like a pig." Kill them with kindness Manvi... I smiled sweetly at her.

"Thanks." I told her. She rolled her eyes again. "It wasn't a compliment." She said.

Everyone tried to hold in their laughter as I tilted my head to the side, trying to look stupid.

"It wasn't?" I asked innocently.

"No it wasn't!" She said roughly. "Have fun getting fat." She finished of smirking.

I winked at her. "I will, thanks." Everyone burst out laughing at that and I even saw Virat crack a smile.

She rolled her eyes again.

"You know if you keep doing that, they'll get stuck that way." Sameer said in a matter of fact manner.

Jeevika and I let out a tiny giggle as the boys bit they're lip to stop the laughter.

Christa simply looked at Virat batting her eyes. "Virrraaattt, can we go back to the flat...alone?"

She added a wink at the end. I mentally rolled my eyes. Virat shifted nervously.

"Oh um...I'm actually kind of hungry." He said looking down. She huffed and crossed her arms. Drama

queen, I thought.

"So where's Barun?" I asked the boys.

"He's going to pick up Pashmeen so you can meet her." I cheered.

"Yayy!" Arjun laughed and Christa decided to pipe in again. "You're so immature." She stated.

Karan decided to defend me this time. "Immature is just a word boring people use to describe fun

people." He said all sassy like. I giggled as Christa kept quiet the rest of the time.

We all finished our food when Barun appeared with a beautiful girl with brown hair.

I stood up immediately smiling. Barun brought her over to me smiling widely.

"You must be Manvi!" She said excitedly pulling me in for a hug. I giggled hugging back.

After a while she pulled away studying my face, "Barun, you didn't tell me she was t his beautiful." I blushed.

"I'm Pashmeen." She said sweetly. "It's nice to meet you! Barun never shuts up about you." She blushed and laughed. "Ditto." She said.

Pashmeen introduced herself to Jeevika too and Christa.

She didn't seem to like Christa either. Let's add that to the list, shall we?

Pashmeen and I chatted for the rest of the time.

Virat and Christa snogged, of course. Viren and Jeevika whispered to each other giggling.

Karan and Arjun arm wrestled. Sameer and Barun talked about the new album and stuff.

Pashmeen and I got to know each other a lot and by the end we became practically best friends.

She was beyond sweet and really funny and we got along really well. I really admired how she handled being Barun's girlfriend and all the hate. I don't see why people would hate her, she's too nice.

I got her phone number and we promised each other to meet up a lot before she left for some dance thing. "Barun," I started seriously as he nervously looked at me, "I love her." I finished smiling.

He laughed, "That's great! I need two of my favorite girls to get along." Jeevika coughed and Barun added.

"Oh AND Jeevika." We all laughed again. Barun got a phone call and he frowned answering it.

"Hi Inder." He said glumly. "Now?" There was a long pause before he replied.

"Okay we'll be there soon." Barun looked at us all sadly. "Guys, we have to go to the studio for a bit."

Everyone groaned. Christa held on to Virat's hand instantly.

"Let's go, babe." She said. "Oh um...Inder said she can't come." Barun said scratching his neck

nervously.

"What, why!?" Christa screeched. Virat looked pretty annoyed as he said. "Sorry babe."

"You can stay with Manvi, Jeevika, and Viren!" Karan said sending me and apologetic look.

Christa huffed. "Fine." She said slowly letting for of Virat's hand.

Jeevika and I shared annoyed glances and Viren just glared at the boys retreating figures.

"So, what are we going to do?" Viren said breaking the awkward silence.

Jeevika glared at Christa not speaking and I just played with my fingers not knowing what to say.

"Let's go to a club!" Christa screeched. Jeevika rolled her eyes and I shifted awkwardly.

"No." Viren said looking back at us. "What do you guys think?" He said arching an eyebrow. "How about...we see a movie?" I said hesitantly. "Yes!" Jeevika agreed and Christa crossed her arms but agreed anyways.

We all went to Viren's car, Jeevika and him sitting in the front, leaving me with Christa in the back.

Yippie... (you can tell I'm being sarcastic right?) She scooted as far away as she can from me and I mentally rolled my eyes. Do I have like AIDS or something?

"So how do you know the boys?" She basically spat at me. "Oh um...I bumped into Virat on the street...and erm he introduced me to the others." I said playing with the hem of my shirt. She huffed and I kept quiet the rest of the ride. So did Viren and Jeevika.

We arrived at the movie theater and everyone hopped out of the car and got in.

"So erm...what movie should we watch?" I asked awkwardly.

Viren and Jeevika looked around trying to figure out what to watch and Christa just played with her

nails looking bored.

"Let's watch Student Of The Year!" Josh exclaimed. "Yeah! Siddarth Malhotra is sooo hot!" Christa

screeched. I resisted the urge to rub my head.

Her annoying high-pitched voice is seriously giving me a headache. "Is that the only reason you wanna watch it?" Jeevika asked cocking her eyebrow.

I quickly went to buy us some tickets since I wasn't really in the mood to watch the cat fight.

"4 tickets to Student Of The Year." I told the man selling tickets. He nodded grabbing 4 tickets and handing them to me.

I quickly paid him and made my way back to Viren, and Jeevika and Christa who were still arguing.

"Guys, I got the tickets." I said holding them up. "Thanks!" Viren said over-excitedly to interrupt the fight.

Jeevika huffed and walked back to Viren tangling their hands together.

"You guys go find our seat, I'm gonna get some popcorn." I said. "Oh, I'll come with you!" Christa said with a fake smile. Oh no...well this should be good.

We were walking towards the snacks place when Christa grabbed my arm roughly turning me around.

I raised my eyebrows,questioning her. "Listen here bitch, Virat is mine. Okay? I want you to stay away from him. Understood? He is mine." Christa said glaring at me.

I suppressed a laugh.

"This is really sad...you have to threaten people that barley look at your boyfriend to stay away from him? Clingy much? No, you listen here Bitcha, I don't care about you and your stupid boyfriend so could you please do me a favor and stay away from me?" I snapped.

Christa looked shocked but still replied.

"Just stay away from him." I rolled my eyes. "Will do. Can I go get my popcorn now?" I asked crossing my arms.

She huffed, "Sure, have fun getting fat...again." I smiled at her sweetly.

"Thanks, I will." I said smugly walking away. I heard her heels click away and finally let out a little laugh.

I went and got some popcorn along with other candies I might need.

As I was walking back I couldn't help but wonder why is Christa worried about me?

Why is she threatened from me? Does she think of me as a threat to her relationship? Or more

importantly...

Competition?
