Chapter-10
*Manvi's POV*
Four months. Four months have finally passed which only meant one thing...today I get to see my boys!
A lot has happened in four months actually. Virat got a new girlfriend'Christa.
I'm not her biggest fan honestly. She's kind of a s**t. I'm not just saying that because she's Virat's girlfriend.
I'm saying that because she makes it pretty damn obvious.
She wears the shortest skirts known to mankind and the skimpiest cropped tops I've ever seen.
To top it all off her face is caked in makeup and her hair is bleached blond. Don't blame me; I'm not the only one who hates her The fans have found out about her and hate her living guts. They don't just hate her because she's Virat's girlfriend. They just personally hate her.
The boys loathe her' trust me I would know.
Whenever we talk they always bitch about how much they hate her and how annoying she is. Karan even calls her Bitcha instead of Christa. Ah, classic Karan. It's also pretty obvious she uses Virat for fame and money.
Virat's all over her though'I'll admit it kind of hurts but not more than it use too.
I've accepted the fact that Virat doesn't want me in his life anymore and moved on.
I've learned how to avoid him when I'm talking to one of the boys on Skype and I've learned to just cut him out of my life''just like he did to me.
Well, other than that I've met Jeevika's boyfriend! His name is Viren and he's actually really sweet. Jeevika seems to really like him too. Even more than she liked Sameer'.and that's saying a lot. Viren and I are also really good friends.
He treats me like I'm his little sister and so I have approved of him and Jeevika being together.
I still don't have a boyfriend and don't plan on having one.
It has nothing to do with Virat trust me it's just that my standards are still pretty high and I don't expect someone to fit them any time soon.
Other than that I've visited my mum in the vacation and Jeevika visited her parents.
I had a great time seeing my mum again and I even told her about the Virat situation.
Want to know what she did? She laughed...yup she laughed.
And she also said some other crazy shit like. 'Oh sweetie, don't you see that Virat's just doing all of this to avoid his feelings for you.' I mean what the hell is that supposed to mean?
Jeevika and I still have a vacation from college and work so we get to spend a lot of time with the boys!
Today they told us to meet them at Virat and Karan flat since it's the biggest, and of course Jeevika and I agreed.
I wore This and was currently waiting in the living room for Jeevika to finally finish getting ready.
Jeevika finally came down and we head of to Virat and Karan flat.
Well, today I'm seeing my 4 best friends/brothers, my ex-best friend that I kind of like, and his bitchy
girlfriend. This should be fun.
*Virat's POV*
We were finally back home'but a lot has changed. I got a new girlfriend'..that I dislike very much.
I know what you're thinking. Why are you with her if you don't love, let alone like her?
Well, my friends the answer is that I'm still trying to get over my feelings for Manvi but trust me it's still not working.
I mean I learned how to handle bottling up my feeling and acting like I don't care but on the inside I'm head over heels for her.
The boys have found out too and think I'm stupid and should tell her how I feel.
I could never do that and they need to understand that.
The fans and the boys all hate Christa. I couldn't blame them really. She's annoying, clingy, bitchy, fake, stupid, stuck up, selfish, and mean. Polar opposite of Manvi but she was a good kisser and that's all I needed.
She's living with me and Karan now and Karan literally might kill himself to get away from her.
But he understands that I need her as a distraction and won't do anymore than complain. Although he complains a lot. He and all the boys do.
They complain in front of her too but she doesn't notice since she's too busy fixing her makeup. Right
now we were all currently in the living room of me and Karan enormous flat waiting for Manvi and Jeevika to come.
Christa was in the bathroom getting ready much to the boy's relief. I was incredibly nervous to see
Manvi again because the entire time I'll have to focus on resisting the urge to kiss her.
Christa finally came out looking as s**tty as ever. "VIRAAATTT." She screeched coming over to kiss me.
The boys all rolled their eyes. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes, actually.
She attempted to kiss me but I casually moved away since I wasn't really in the mood.
"When is Manvi getting here!?" Arjun whined.
"I WANT MANVI, I WANT MANVI, I WANT MANVI!" Karan started chanting like a child.
"I miss her so much!" Sameer said slumping in his seat. Barun just pouted crossing his arms.
"She should be here by now." He said frowning. Christa rolled her eyes.
It was amazing how much the boys love Manvi; it was really cute and sweet actually.
Of course they're love for her wasn't nearly as strong as mine.
I really like the fact that they love her this much since if we start dat- NO. No Virat, no impossible
thoughts please.
Just focus on your girlfriend. The boys continued to whine about Manvi until Christa interrupted them.
"UGH, who cares about Manvi?" She said in her annoying high pitched voice.
I really felt like punching her then and there. The boys however, were a whole different story.
Arjun had his fists clenched so hard they were turning white. Karan face was reddening from anger.
Barun had his jaw clenched and Sameer was glaring at her the deadliest glare I've ever witnessed.
It looked like they were about to explode but then the doorbell rang and immediately they raced
towards the door. I just stayed in my seat my eyes glued to the door.
"MANVI!" All four boys shouted tackling her in a hug and blocking my view from her.
Jeevika stood awkwardly crossing her arms.
"Thanks guys, I feel the love!" Jeevika joke. I heard Manvi's adorable giggle and felt my heart speed
them, then I mentally slapped myself for feeling that way.
"Aw babe, come join the hug!" Jeevika cheered joining the hug.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I even missed Manvi and Jeevika's touchy-feely hoemance." Sameer said.
Everyone laughed as they pulled away from the hug. I felt my arm twitch desperately wanting to
join the hug but of course I can't. I have to pretend to not care.
Finally I got a view of Manvi.
Her brown hair fell on her shoulder perfectly, her chocolate orbs were sparkling, her pink lips in a
perfect smile. Ugh. Why does she have to be so beautiful?
It makes everything so much harder... she caught me staring and gave me a head nod, her face
unreadable. I attempted a weak smile but got nothing in return.
I felt my heart being ripped in pieces but than I reminded myself that I was the one who caused this
Smart, Virat. Nice move.
Suddenly Christa's annoying voice spoke.
"And who are you guys?" She pointed to Jeevika and Manvi.
"I'm Manvi." Manvi said sweetly. Of course, even when I'm such a jerk and my girlfriend is such a bitch
Manvi has to be the amazing kind person she is.
"I'm Jeevika." Jeevika said icily glaring at Christa.
Christa rolled her eyes at them and said.
"I'm Christa but of course you already knew that." Jeevika scoffed. Jeevika's always been overprotective
of Manvi so if anyone's mean to her...shit gets real. "Actually I didn't..." Jeevika said smirking.
Christa ignored her turning to me and snuggling into my side.
I resisted the urge to pull away and instead pulled her closer. Manvi sat between Arjun and Karan as
Jeevika sat next to Barun. "So, how was tour?" Manvi asked curiously.
"It was great but we missed our Rose way to much!" Barun said smiling.
Jeevika cleared her throat and Sameer laughed as he said. "AND Jeevika."
They all laughed and I just stayed quiet the whole time.
Christa made many attempts to kiss me but I pulled away wanting to look at Manvi's beauty. I knew
I shouldn't but I really couldn't help it. I watched her every move. The way her eyes squinted when
she smiled.
The way she scrunched her nose when she concentrates on something really hard.
The way her eyes twinkle when she laughs.
I snapped back to reality when Barun announced. "Guys, I'm going over to Pashmeen's."
Everyone mumbled a 'have fun' and 'okay' when Manvi suddenly exclaimed.
"I have to meet Pashmeen someday!" Everyone chuckled at her outburst as my heart squeezed at her
cuteness. Barun beamed.
"Yeah! She'll absolutely love you and anyways I told her a lot about you and she's dying to meet
you." Manvi giggled and Barun left giving Jeevika and Manvi a hug and the rest of us a nod.
Everyone suddenly did something different. Sameer and Karan were playing a video game.
Jeevika was texting someone. Arjun and Manvi were watching the video game with interest.
I loved how Manvi can always be comfortable around us doing guy stuff.
She doesn't get annoyed unlike Christa. Suddenly Arjun dipped his head forward and whispered
something in Manvi's ear.
Manvi giggled and her cheeks tinted a bit pink. I felt my fists clench and jealousy surge through me.
I needed my distraction...I grabbed Christa's face and smashed our lips together. Christa instantly
kissed back pushing her tongue in my mouth. I opened one eye and saw Manvi's eyes flicker to us and
I saw something I hated to see in her eyes. Pain.
