They had been friends since they could remember. They were next door neighbors. Always arguing, always pulling each other's legs, playing pranks on others as well as on each other, always smiling together.in short they were inseperable.one would often find them chasing each other. But the scene had changed since the day Maya entered Virat's life. Virat would always talk about Maya whenever talking to Manvi. It's not that Maya's the only girlfriend Virat had'but she's the one he would always talk about.

Manvi did not like it at all. How could she? When the love of her life was chanting 'Maya' all the time. Yes she loved him. She didn't even realize actually when she'd started falling for this idiotic, irritating 'chep'.But she very well knew that he's the one.

So she started to distance herself from him. That morning Manvi was getting ready for college when she heard his voice ,"hey bandariya'why torturing the mirror? "she turned towards him.

"was that a joke? should I laugh? stop being so pathetic Virat."Manvi groaned leading Virat to chuckle.

"hey listen'.wanted your suggestion'..me and Maya'.."he was talking while walking towards Manvi but cut off in the middle "arghh Virat'.for once stop talking about your illusion."

"illusion??"a confused Virat asked scratching his head.

"Maya means illusion'.did that ring any bell?"Manvi stated irritated.

"Manvi Manvi Manvi'.Maya's not any illusion, she's one hot reality" Virat said dreamily.

"STOP YOU PERVERT!!!!Before you start your gross lecture on Maya I should leave as I have a college to attend and also because I'm not a chep like you.so bye'.c ya later" Manvi sprinted out from the room.

She felt exhausted when she came home. "hey mom. hey vanshika aunty."'wait,vanshika aunty .why she's here at lunch time.'"your mom invited me and Virat for lunch today" vanshika aunty smiled seeing her baffled expression. "Virat's waiting in your room."Manvi sighed and went to her room.

"Hey bandariya is this yours?"Virat asked waving a diary.for one moment Manvi forgot how to move or to talk. And then'.

"NOOO'''YOU JUST DID NOT!!!!"Screamed Manvi on top of her lungs. "YOU DID JUST NOT TOUCH MY DIARY!!"Her eyes got so wide that it seemed like they would come out of the sockets anytime. She snatched the diary from his hand. Her heart was pounding so hard that she thought she will get a heart attack. 'He did not read the diary. He did not read the diary' she kept chanting to calm herself down. But his eyes were saying something else. The naughty sparkle in them was showing otherwise. The smirk on his face'..'No this can't be happening'. this is a nightmare, right??'Oh how she hoped it was. "Hey I just touched that, not read it" He stretched the read part. "Or did i??" he chuckled.

'He read her diary!!!!Did he read the part where she let all her feelings out''for HIM???'

Manvi again went numb. 'What is he thinking of me? Just another girl who couldn't resist his charm and fell for him? And love him even knowing he's with Maya'.. arghh'why did I left the diary on the table? Someone kick me hard.'

"Manvi I never loved Maya'.or any other girl. I was just trying to make you jealous "Virat whispered in Manvi's ear breaking her chain of thoughts

"What???!!!wh'what did you just say??"Manvi stammered looking into his eyes.

"Yeah'you heard it right. But I must say you're really a tough nut to break'bandariya". He winked at her. She was still trying to catch her breath and take in what he was saying.

"I've always loved you,always.but wasn't sure of your feelings. Uff'..you weren't even jealous seeing all those girls with me'."frustrated virat pouted."'.or even when I kept ranting about Maya. I think I wouldn't even come to know about your feelings if I'd not read your diary''."he kept on blabbering.

She was staring at him, unblinking .'He loves me'.Virat loves me' She couldn't believe her stars. Was she really that lucky??

"Why didn't you tell me that you love me?"Manvi demanded.

"Uff I was feeling shy, you idiot!!!".Manvi retorted.

"Huh?feeling shy???Hello''you never felt shy whenever you told me about your stupid crushes".Virat said raising his eyebrows.

"Because they were stupid crushes u moron!!! l never had a crush on you I lo''"Manvi couldn't finish and lowered her eyes. She felt her cheeks turning hot. She was blushing.

'Is she blushing????o my god.'he just couldn't believe his eyes. The great Manvi was indeed blushing. He kept on staring at her. Manvi could feel his gaze on her. After several minutes Manvi somehow managed to look at Virat and saw him lost in her.she snapped her finger's in front of Virat's eye which brought him back into reality. He grinned like an idiot.

"What??"she shrugged her shoulders.

"That was new. Never knew a bandariya could blush" he gave a crooked smile.

Manvi blushed again and when she realized he called her bandariya again she gave him a smack on his arm.

"Never call me bandariya again" she pouted.

Virat laughed at her innocence and said"sorryyy"cutely holding his ears. Manvi couldn't maintain the angry face any longer and let out a laugh. "I don't know how you always make me smile". She smiled.

Virat took Manvi into an embrace snaking his hands around her waist.

"and I'll keep on making you smile always because I just love this smile of yours."said Virat kissing her forehead. "now'.. don't you think you should say something?"he smirked.

Manvi distanced herself from Virat and turned her back towards him and softly asked "what?"

"Oh don't pretend to be a shy heroine na'..say those 3 words" Virat groaned.

Manvi turned and pulled Virat by his collar and started "l''nah'you have to work hard for that"she pushed him back but Virat held her quickly and coyly said "ok then'. may I have a kiss"and started coming closer .Manvi pushed him hard and said"I don't think so. You'll have to work even harder for that" while walking away from him. Virat sighed. He knew there's no winning from this bandariya''no 'HIS' bandariya. This mere thought brought an instant smile on his lips.

"Waise'..should I say something?"Virat said with a sly smile.

"Go on.." Manvi prompted.

"'Today' is going in the history "he said smirking.

"Huh???"manvi was confused.

"Yeah ,as the day 'a bandariya had gone into a shock'."he said animatedly.

"Viraaat!!!!!!" Manvi turned towards Virat and THE chase began. Their mom's had just entered the room to call them for lunch but looking at the chase they both sighed 'not again'. They stopped them holding their ears and asked angrily,"What were you two doing?"

"Nothing .We were just BEING US" Manvi and Virat replied looking at each other lovingly.
