EWWW I can never imagine Manvi with Viren..they are too siblingish for me! Krystle and Kushal..maybe! But I don't think it can ever create the same magic that the respective couples have with each other onscreen and offscreen. I think the pairing was just meant to be 😊

Maanvi's effervescent enthusiasm and zest for life would be balanced by Virain's calm, methodical, and logical approach to situations.
i.e. immaturity in many cases balanced by maturity.
She'll get him to enjoy life more by shaking him out of his staid and boring 'comfort zone', and he'll provide a 'grounding' for her outlandish ideas and escapades.

Jeevika's calm and wise demeanor, on the other hand, will work wonders to provide a direction and focus for Viraat.
His aimlessness and lack of motivation would be resolved by her providing the 'kick in the *ss' that he needs to get started.
Personality-wise, he'll make her be more easy-going and less tensed and responsible for all and sundry; whereas she'll provide the calming influence and steadiness to his life that he lacks.

Right now, the pairing is too much of similarities...too boring...

The other way would have produced fireworks...as they adjust to each other's personalities and learn from each other... and true revelations of character traits.

They are all in their comfort zones right now and there has been no push for them to come out of it.
Each is acting according how they've mostly always acted.

Well Jayne, I would beg to differ.. I don't think they are all in their comfort zones... I don't know about Nia and Kushal but Karan has never played a subtle..simple character like Viren.. He always chose the flamboyant characters - Shaan and Sameer.. Even Krystle.. her roles in kahe na kahe, aahat and Kis desh mein hain mera dil where she played a negative character were so different compared to Jeevika.. So definitely out of their comfort zone and they are obviously not acted like this before 😃

Certainly, these characters have different shades and offer more versatility to the actors.

However, while the TM posed the question with the actors' real names, I interpreted her question as one where she actually wants to see the characters of Jeevika, Maanvi, Virain, and Viraat swap partners.

The reason being - they are actors - their profession demands that they execute whatever role they've been given rather well if not in an exemplary fashion. So I deduced that perhaps the TM was referring to the way these characters were int he show.

From that POV, I do think the characters are mostly in their comfort zones and have acted 'to-type'.
Any situation that required 'sacrifice', or 'wisdom', or 'aimlessness', etc...were all true to the character-sketches written for the roles.

No one has come out with something totally different - pleasing, yet different.

for example, if it were Maanvi + Virain pairing - who knows, Virain may have taken up with a local garage-rock-band as a hobby!
A wonderful creative outlet for a guy who really does not have any.
Not to mention a pleasing yet surprising out-of-character behavior.

Hey Jayne! I think that that's a good point of view and i understand where you're coming from and what you mean about them being different from each other. But don't you think that sometimes that whole 'opposites attract' thing gets a bit boring?

Oh, sure.
Each couple is always different and while one can generalize in terms of - 'opposites; love; arranged; liked each other; were comfortable with each other; wanted the same things; grew-up together;' etc...ways of pairing up; its really for each couple to decide what works for them or not.

I think couples get to know each other pretty well after several years together - whether they were opposites or similar.

Any which way, the best course is to see that 'boring' is not the same thing as 'comfortable with each other; know each other really well and LIKE each other; etc.
For its easy to love but it is far more difficult to like someone.
For example, one kinda 'has-to' SAY they 'love' their child (Gasp! Else they'll be deemed monstrous! Oh, How can they?!!). Yet one need not like one's own child.

It happens.
More often then you might think.

So a couple together might seem boring to us but they might be really comfortable with each other, like each other and be each other's best friends in addition to being spouses/partners.
That's the best case scenario.

Jayne
