Shravan threw his phone, he was frustrated angry and amazed, how could his parents do this to him. He had just completed his MBA and instead of congratulating him, he was being called back home immediately so that he could meet his dad's oldest friend's daughter. He had to reach home as soon as possible.
And as Nidhi bahbhi whispered that he was basically already engaged to that girl.
How could his dad, The Great Pratap Jaiswal do this to him? Well he won't agree to this, he had a definite picture for his life partner in his mind, he wasn't going to bow down to his dad's wishes.
'I won't go back at all' -he said it aloud.
Then suddenly words of his eldest brother rang in his mind; Saurabh had told him that dad was making him one of the directors of the company, his dad was giving him the whole marketing responsibility.
'If I don't go maybe dad won't let me help in his business, but it has always has been my dream. What can I do , I can't say yes to a totally strange girl. But I can't say no also.'
Suddenly an idea pinged in his mind.

'I really am a genius' said he while congratulating himself when he glanced at the clock.
He was going to miss the last train.
Packing helter skelter he ran to the taxi stop and got into a taxi when a girl got in at the same time.
"Hey", he said to the girl, "this is my taxi"
"No this is mine"
"I got in first"
"I got in first"
"I saw it first"- he countered,
"I hailed it first"
"Get out"- he snarled glancing at the watch on his hand
"You get out" she replied in the same tone
The taxi driver turned and said "sahib, madam, aap dono get out kar do"
Shravan cursed under his breadth and came out, so did the girl.
They both gave each other hateful looks and went in different directions.
Shravan took a ride from a couple in their car and somehow reached the station.
As he got out he heard the train whistle and ran with top speed towards the gates of the station when he collided with someone who was also running on top speed
They collided and fell down, Shravan looked up and saw it was the same girl.
"Tum phir se?"
"Tum phir se?"
They both got up at the same time and because their luggage was entangled they fell down again.
Shravan stood up in rage and yanked his bag and started running towards the platform not sparing another glance at the girl, and she did the same.
They reached the platform only to see the last bogie leaving.
Shravan was furious and turned to the girl and said
"Its all because of you , jab se tumse mila hun kuch na kuch garbar ho hi rahi hia , pehle meri taxi chin gayi , phir meri train chuut gayi"
"Main bhi yahi baat wapas dohra sakti hun" the girl retorted quickly
"Tumhe bhi mussourie jaana tha ,hey bhagwan mussourie ka kya hoga"
"Tumhare kehne ka matlab kya hai haan?"
"Mussourie ko toh koi bacha nahi sakta kyun ki tum wahin ja rahe ho"
As they were shouting at top of their voices people gathered.
Seeing that Shravan picked up his bag and left the scene and the girl did the same.
It was dark and thundering outside they were walking in the same direction when but on opposite sides of the road
It started raining
They both ran towards the same set of trees, and then the girl slipped and in order to help her Shravan caught her hand and held her
And then he slipped.
They both sat on the road in heavy rains staring at each other and then Shravan burst out laughing.
Seeing him laugh the girl also started laughing.
Shravan got up and held out his hands towards the girl.
She took it and got up.
Shravan looked at her and then smiled "Hi I am shravan from mussorui"
"Hi" she just took his hand, "I am'" when it thundered and she shrieked
Shravan took her hand and ran towards the end of the road where there were lights
They ran without heed and ran headlong into a couple of tough looking people
The girl as she bumped into a tough guy started falling and was jerked upwards when that guy caught her hand
HE leered at her, Shravan came between them
The guy ghoorofied him
"Kyun be teri kya lagti hai"
Shravan: meri biwi hai ,
The girl stared at him.
Shravan : han meri biwi hai aur kya
The guy: oh tab toh pehle tere se nibatenge uske baad usse
Shravan in the meanwhile was holding his make believe wife's hand in his and suddenly pushed the guy and shouted RUNNN
They both ran hand in hand without stopping to look back
They stopped only under a bridge
Shravan: wow yar tumhare sath toh har ek pal adventure hai , kash saari zindagi aise hi guzar jaye
The girl: Aise bhagte bhagte ?
Shravan: jab saath accha ho toh bhagne mein bhi apna hi maza hai
They both had come to the bus station, they boarded the bus
They both fell asleep on the bus
Shravan woke up early in the morning to see the girl sleeping on his shoulders, he smiled and then frowned, he had spent the whole night with this girl, called her his wife and even now he didn't know her name
As he was thinking about it the bus jerked and came to stop
He looked outside they had reached musoorie.
The girl in the meanwhile came awake and shrieked in delight
"Finally we reached. Thanks" she said looking at him shyly, "agar tum nahi hote toh main nahi pahunch pati , aaj mera yahan pahunchna jaroori hai, mere dad mom ne mere liye ek ladka pasand kiya hai jisse mujhe aaj hi milna hai"
Shravan just stared at her
He wanted to say something when he was interrupted by the conductor who was gesturing them to get down from the bus
As soon as they came down a crowd milled around them and they both got separated
Shravan looked around feeling sad and somewhat deprived, while the girl also looked around and felt sad
Shravan to himself: yar yeh toh ddlj wali kahani ho gayi , bas shahrukh ko airport pe realize hua tha ki use kajol se pyar hai aur mujeh bus station pe
He tried to find her and didn't find, in the mean while she was just standing behind him
He took his bag and walked back to his home and so did the girl
As he entered his home his Dad looked up
Pratap Jaiswal: Aa gaye Shravan beta tum , Inse milo yeh hain Inder Sharma, maine tumko inhi ke bare mein bataya tha
Shravan touched Inder's feet ,
Inder: jite raho beta Sanchi bhi aati hi hogi
As he was saying that a voice announced herself.
"Papa main aa gayi"
Shravan spurned around to find the girl staring back at him.
Inder went and greeted his daughter who was now staring at Shravan as if he was a ghost
Sanchi came to and went and greeted all of Shravan's family but kept glancing back at Shravan
In the mean while Shravan was all but overjoyed
Shravann his mind: thede medhe raaste se hi sahi lekin shyad milna hi tha hume
And with this he proceeded towards his family with board smile on his face.
