I loved the balance in today's episode. For one big reason - you could see every bond, every relationship. And right now we see happiness but its the calm before the storm for sure. With Manvi's illness worsening and if there are complications in Jeevika's pregnancy or even if it is the bone marrow transplant choice as we all have been guessing...like you said...tragedy seems just round the corner

Definitely was a change from the usual fall scenes na? I've always loved how this show has used typically romantic notions and changed them to suit the sisters in this show. I remember they even had a telepathic pulling dupatta scene lol.

It's great that there has been a conscious effort from the cvs to bring back the essence of the show including those bonds which were etched out so beautifully from the initial episodes.

We'll have to wait and see how this pregnancy & cancer interlink but I'm sure the outcome either way is going to be very heartwrenching.

When J fell in to that animal pit, M came shouting for her and they showed J reaching her hands out trying to call out to M, she makes a grabbing action and that's when M feels a tug at her dupatta.

Even at that time, I loved how it was Manvi who found Jeevi even though all three of them were looking for her. They are one another's saviour, always.

I need to rewatch for that dupatta tug because I don't remember it but it sounds epic.

EDITED

Those last few minutes were the episode for me. The rest was great but those closing moments was showing where the show is heading. Amongst the happiness something awful is looming.

Jeevika's fainting today had something hidden behind it. It was not pictureised as if was caused simply by not eating for stress. The music in the background, the shots of the happy faces as well as the heartbeat (Yes, I heard it.) The heartbeat had me glued to the screen. (I didn't hear it online but did when watched it on telly) Who's heartbeat was it Maanvi's, Jeevika's or the baby's?

I loved the fact Jeevika fell in Maanvi's arms. Something which hasn't been done before but also Maanvi realising something was up before she actually fainted. Their simple connection even though everyone is preoccupied with their happiness. The aerial shot worked quite well. To show them at the centre of everything, with everyone around them. However, when Jeevika fell she took Maanvi down with her. They will always protect each other, but will they be each other's downfall as well.

Emotionally it is difficult to fault the writers but factually and medically they have made a mockery of cancer and I don't think they can dig themselves out of that hole. Yet I am looking forward to what is going to unfold.

@Bold: Ditto! Those last few moments stayed with me after the episode was over. Eeks the heartbeat, yup heard it too and I actually connected it to the baby but then it could have been simply played for effect.

So glad that this time too they chose M to be the one who saves J!! @italic: LOVED how you interpreted that. Yes they will do everything and anything to protect each other but that will also be the cause of immense suffering due to that very love & care.

I hope that heart wasn't added in just for effect as it really intriguing. I did think it has more of a link to the baby but it could be for anyone. It's there love for each other that can destroy them. They have shown glimpses in the past. There is no extend of their love and unknowingly and unwillingly they could sacrifice all and become each other's destruction rather than saviour.

One thing I don't get is what was J trying to do before she fainted? I mean when Maanvi realised something was up, it was as if she was trying to escape?

amazing post!! i completely agree with you...

I was telling my mom that there was such intense foreshadowing in the last scene because it showed how many troubles and as u said tragedy awaits them. Like they say khushi ki baad dukh aur dukh ki baad sukh ata hai...dono zada din ke meheman nahi hote. and that is the case with this show it has its highs when everything is great and happy and then its low (not in a bad way but emotionally) where its heart wrenching and you just cry. thats how they keep the audience engaged...im interested and excited to see how they carry this track forward and what they do with it...all the actors in this show are absolutely fabulous so I know execution on their part wont be lacking, lets just hope that the writers keep up to par...they havent dissappointed us before and hopefully they wont in the future.

Hmmm...
As usual, a good post Reemz!
I just loved the Jeevika acting as Maanavi part too. Krystle was too cute to describe! And the tone of voice and throw of dialogues was very well done, to resemble Maanavi's...Jeevika truly lived the character of Maanavi...
Just loved the moment when JeeMan nudged each other to dance as the last and best dancers on the floor...Being Sisters is also about having great fun together. And Jeeman get rare moments like this. So I guess, that, for me was the moment of the day...
Maanavi catching Jeevika at the end was a very nice touch by the CVs. Kudos.
A tragedy is looming over for sure but I somehow have a very strong gut feeling that there would not be a complication in Jeevika's pregnancy, her fainting is related to lack of rest and not eating and stretching herself too much in last 2-3 days... The travel to and fro Hrishikesh, emotional ups and downs, engagement dances and preparations, less eating, getting overexcited... and what not!!!! So on that front I am not restless for now.
For the whole last week and this week, I felt Behna's have been at the centre, even if it's VirMan roka and engagement track. Even when they are not together in a frame, the way they think about each other and talk about each other to their respective partners, was spectacular. I am lovong this track in general.
Cancer and Pregnancy tracks will be developped hand in hand I think, at least, I hope! Let's wait and watch...
