She was busy in thinking so many tough things that she couldn't do the easiest thing properly.She stumbled while coming down,she almost had completed the steps.She was about to fall & he clutched her hand with his one hand & with his another hand he put a hold around her waist.She was not that much shocked with stumbling but with the fact that he put a grip on her.She tried to look through his eyes but all she found was emptiness.Why his eyes always seemed to be so solemn?Why she never found any excitement coming?Even she was not that much comfortable with their sudden marriage but still she had her nerves working in a proper way.

Vanshika turned around who was waiting for both of them eagerly.She got the opportunity to witness that scene.She was very optimist with this marriage from the beginning.She knew this was the turning point for her son.She had a firm faith that this marriage would turn out as one of the biggest successful relations she ever witnessed.She had to be always the sole spectator of his agonies.She was always aware of her son's stoic nature.He experienced everything so deeply but never expressed his agony to anyone even not to himself.He had always shown a scatty side of him & nobody ever tired to understand him.Now the winds had changed in the form of Manvi,she would bring life back to him.She would stow all his miseries in the deepest of her & would heal his wounds with her immeasurable love,care & affection.Soon there would be no scars left anymore.

They entered the mandir.Everybody seemed to be in a good mood except Swamini bua.She was not sure that Manvi could make it to be the Vadhera daughter-in-law.As all were only waiting for them to start,so they started the aarthi wasting no more time.Virat & Manvi did the aarthi together.After the aarthi she took the plate of prashad.She gave prashad away to everyone with taking blessings from them.

After performing it,Vanshika came to her, 'beta abhi tumhe ek aur rasam bhi puri karni hain.tumhe aapni pehli rasoi banana hai.'

She accepted without any offense.She would love to perform every ritual, 'ji aunty ji,main banalungi.'

'aunty ji?'Vanshika laughed, 'beta ab mujhe maa kehne ki aadat dal lo.'

'sorry...ji maa!'

'tum kitchen mein chali jao aur Jeevika tumahre sath hogi wahan,ta ki tumhe koyi bhi mushkil na ho.'

Jeevika came & stood behind her.She took her to kitchen.

In the kitchen everything was arranged before Manvi.She needed to prepare kheer with them.Jeevika just had went to her room to have her medicines.She was alone there.Her tension was rising.She had come here a few times before but never personally cooked anything.She was busy in dealing with the ingredients.Jeevika returned in that time.She was a little scared.She was about to make something for the first time,how would all react?would she be able to leave up to their expectations?

Jeevika put her hand on her shoulder.She turned around & found her Di with her.Her Di's smiling face ended all her fears.Only her Di's presence could console her no matter how much frustrated she was.Her only infatuation in life was her Di,she was her eternal companion,her support in every misery.

She with an impression of peace, 'Di aap aa geyi???'

Jeevika gave away a smile, 'haan teri Di aa geyi...toh kya kar rahi hain?kuch shuru kiya ke nahi?'

'nahi Di abhi kaha,abhi toh sab kuch dekh hi rahi hoon.'

'jaldi kaar...sab 8 baj te hi khane aa jayenge!'

'Di aap mujhe dara kyun rahi ho???main jaldi karne ki koshish kar rahi hoon.'

'koyi baat nahi,tu aaram se kar.'

'bas aap yun hi muskurati raho aur main jhat se kheer banalungi.

'badmash,phir se maska giri shuru?'

'nahi Di maska kaha mar rahi hoon!!!aap ke ek muskurahat se meri saari mushkiley sach mein asaan ho jati hain...'

'mujhe bhi toh teri khushiyon mein aapni khushi mil jati hain!'

Both of them got emotional.They both hugged each other.Tears formed in both of their eyes.Jeevika was happy for her sister's happiness.Manvi was also happy to see her Di smiling.She found the best convenience of this marriage,she would be able to see her Di's smiling face everyday & specially whenever she would feel low,her Di's smiling face would work as a booster for her.

'bas Di,ab mujh pe hi aapna sara pyaar luta dogi ya phir mere chhutku ke liye bhi thoda sa rakkhogi???'

'chal ja pagal!tere chhutku ke liye bhi mere pas bohat saara pyar hain lekin teri jagah koyi nahi le sakta,tu toh meri aatma hain!'

'aur aap meri zindagi ho Di!'

It was 8 a.m.Kheer was made & served at the dinner table.She was tensed thinking about everybody's comments.Specailly she was scared about Dadaji & Swamini bua's reaction.Everybody was having it & they gave a positive reaction.Even Dadaji & Swamini bua also gave positive one.Dadaji gave her some money as her shagun of cooking first time.Everybody praised her except Virat.Inside Manvi wanted to know what he must be feeling.Jeevika could sense her wish to know his impression.She asked Virat, 'toh devar ji,kaisa laga aap ko aapni patni ke hathon se bana hua kheer?'

He smiled, 'achchha hain bhabi,it's really nice!'

Hearing this Manvi felt like she has achieved something bigger.She grinned to his comment.Virat indeed liked her hand made kheer.He only loved his mother's hand made kheer previously but she impressed him with her kheer.

Swamini brought the topic of Manvi's pak phera ritual.Manvi loved her for this.She was a little bit reserved but inside she was also a good person.She wanted to say some words of gratitude for her.Suddenly Swamini bua spoke up, 'Manvi tum kal chali jana,aaj hamari kuch friends tumhe dekhne aane wali hain,tum ready rehan,woh sab dinner pe aayenge.'

She felt again scared to hear this.How she would be able to impress her high class friends???but she had nothing to do,she had to do that.Virat lost his interest in this topic & got up.Swamini stopped him, 'Virat tumhe bhi rehna hoga uss waqt.tumhe agar koyi kam ho toh jaldi se khatam kar ke aa jana.hum tumhara wait karenga.'

'sorry bua,main nahi aa payunga!'

'aisa kya kam hain tumhe ke tum itne important dinner mein nahi aa paoge???akhir hum yeh tum dono ke liye hi kar rahe hain!'

'main aap ko batana jaruri nahi samajh ta!'

Dadaji raised his voice, 'Virat bado se baat karne ki saari tameej bhul chuke ho tum???'

'sorry dadaji,main kisi ko hurt nahi karna chahta,main koshish karunga aane ki.'

He was leaving.Vanshika stopped him, 'beta khana toh pura khake jao?'

'nahi mom,mera khana ho geya.'
