Manvi could not decide what to wear. She wanted to look pretty, the best. "uff ho what am I supposed to wear? Hmmm Should I wear this blue kurta? Nah, it is not good enough. God manvi why are you fussing so much over your clothes? Why does it matter so much?"- manvi talking to herself. In her heart she knew the reason; she wanted to look pretty for Virat but she denied to accept it.

Finally after what seemed like ages Manvi decided to wear a simple pink kurta. She put on light makeup: pink lip gloss, small silver bindi, silver earrings and kajal. She decided to let her hair fall loose on her shoulder. She stepped out of the room hoping that Virat would notice her and compliment her. Manvi pagal hai kya! Kya soch rahi heh. Virat kyun notice karega tujhe? Tuh sirf uski partner hai toh yeh sapne dekhna chod. (manvi are you mad! What are you thinking! Why would Virat notice you? You are only his partner so stop dreaming). Manvi chided herself and walked towards the stairs.

There Virat had been waiting for Manvi since the past 40 minutes. Yeh manvi aaj itna time kyun laga rahi heh? Pehle toh mujse bhi jaldi tayar ho jati thi. Aab aaj kya hua isse? (Why is this Manvi taking so much time today? She never took so much time before, infact she would usually be ready before me!) "Manvi, Manvi" Virat calling from the bottom of the stairs. "Manvi what is taking you so long? We are getting late already." Virat was impatient to go out with Manvi, to spend some time with her. He did not care about getting late to the party, but he needed an excuse for asking her to hurry and come to him. "That is it Manvi. Mein upar aa .."

Just then he saw Manvi descending the stairs and he could not remember what he was saying, his thoughts were all jumbled up now. Manvi looked angelic in her pink kurta with her soft hair falling on her shoulders. How can anyone look so pretty! He realized that he was gawking at her so to lighten the mood he decided to tease her.

As Manvi was walking down the stairs she realized a pair of eyes admiring her, taking in the sight of her. It was Virat. He was impatient to leave for the party and he was calling her but as soon as he saw her he just stopped whatever he was saying. She could see the love for her in his eyes and she was lost in it. Her thoughts incoherent, she did not realize that she was already at the bottom of the stairs, staring at him.

Thankfully Virat's voice helped her clear her thoughts.

Virat- "What yar partner, how long does it take for you to get ready? And anyways no matter how long you take you still look like a bandariya."

He wanted to tell her that she looked like an angel, that the sight of her left him breathless but he did not want to complicate things. So he decided to tease her and bring her to sherni mode.

He was surprised by her reaction. She did not fight back, instead he saw hurt in her eyes and that left him speechless. He wanted to caress her face, hold her but he just stood there tongue tied waiting for her to say something.

Manvi had hoped that he would tell she looked beautiful instead he told her she looked like a bandariya. Don't I mean anything to him! She knew he did not mean it but she could not help feeling hurt. So she just gave him a nod and walked outside.

Virat followed still dazed by her reaction and pulled her arm.

"Manvi what is wrong? You know that I was kidding right? I mean common yar partner, you know that you look beautiful. You are gorgeous! I have never seen anyone as beautiful as you."

Suddenly Virat realized what he just said. Uh oh virat you stepped out of the line here. Why cannot you control your emotions in front of her? You are one big mouth fool. Okay what just happened? Is she smiling? Seeing Manvi smile Virat's heart skipped a beat and he could not understand why his compliment made her so happy.

Manvi was visibly upset, that is when she felt someone grab her arm. She recognized the touch. It was him. Then he looked in her eyes and said the sweetest thing she could ever imagine. She could not help but smile at that. She felt out of this world, she just wanted to hug him. He looked confused seeing her happy. Pagal he doesn't even know that he just made today the most memorable day for me.

"Thank you partner!" saying this Manvi sat in the car.

Okay I will either complete part 2 today or I will write an OS. I guess will depend on my mood. It is 11pm here but I am wide awake so I guess I will do something useful- write :)

Please please please comment. It really encourages me to write. Also am I boring you with so many details? Should I just focus on the story and not write what both of them are thinking all the time?
