Manvi entered the house followed by Virat. It was an awkward situation for both of them. As usual Virat's care for Manvi took over all his other emotions and he said "Manvi please go to your room and rest. I will bring your food there."
Virat's sweet gestures never failed to surprise her. She decided it would be best to go to her room. She nodded her head and left without saying a word.
Virat watched her as she left. All he wanted to do was hold her in his arms, be with her and tell her how much he needed her. But he knew he would have to wait for that, give her time and space. He quickly went to his room and freshened up.
Manvi could feel his eyes on her as she left for her room. She hoped he would come closer to her and give her a tight hug, make her feel wanted but he just stood there. Maybe he needs more time to think about us thought Manvi. After reaching her room, Manvi too went to the bathroom to freshen up.
Almost an hour had gone by and Virat was still waiting for Manvi. He had no idea what was taking her so long. He had already reheated the food almost five times. He didn't have any more patience and he was already worried about her health. It was time for her medicines and she was still in the shower; he could hear the water running. He knocked on the door, "Manvi what is taking you so long? Are you alright? It is time for you to take your medicines and you have not even eaten yet!"
Manvi had her shower running. She was trying to calm herself down, recollect her thoughts. The hot water had a soothing effect on her. It took every ounce of her energy to not think about Virat. Right when she was done calming herself and had turned the shower off she heard a knock on the door. It was Virat! Ughhh now I will have to shower again to calm myself. After another round of her calming exercise, Manvi stepped out of the shower.
Virat could not understand it. Was she doing all this to test his patience? She had the shower turned off but as soon as he asked her to come out she restarted the shower! After another fifteen minutes of waiting he decided it was time to reheat the food so he went back to the kitchen. When Virat entered her room for the sixth time with the tray of food he saw his angel sitting in front of the mirror brushing her damp hair. As soon as Virat stepped in the room, Manvi looked up, blushing she immediately looked down.
A smile crept on Virat's face as soon as he saw her blush. Now he knew why it took her so long to come outside and why she was nervous in the car; it was because of him. His presence affected her. The realization dawned on him and he felt like he was on top of the world.
Virat slowly went closer to her and whispered in her ears "bandariya bohot intazar karwaya (bandariya you made me wait a lot), aab khana khaye? (lets eat food now)"
Manvi blushed a deeper shade of pink, she was about to nod her head but she saw his smug smile through the mirror so she changed her mind. Standing up she said "okay leave the food on the table. I will eat it. You may leave now CHEP."
Oh looks like the "bandariya" is back in her sherni mode but I am virat vadera and now that I know the effect I have on her let me use it to my advantage. Stepping closer to Manvi, gazing into her eyes Virat said "really partner? You want to eat all by yourself? You really want me to leave?"
This was the limit for Manvi. Her cheeks were dark red by now and she could not even utter a sensible word. Stepping back she stammered "V v viraaat yeh uhmm yeh."
Though Virat acted all confident he too had a hard time staying focused. He wanted to pull her closer and seal her lips with a kiss but being a gentleman he would wait, wait till she was willing to be close to him. Her cheeks were dark red and her eyes full of love, for him. His heart leapt in joy, he had waited for this day for almost a year now. His insides were in havoc but controlling his emotions he replied "yeh yeh kya manvi? Dinner time?"
Manvi was surprised at this. She could read his eyes, he wanted to be close to her, to hug her but he was just standing there trying to start a conversation with her. She was touched by his chivalry, he was such a gentleman. She understood that he would not come close to her unless she wanted and her eyes filled with tears at the thought. He loved her so damn much!
Now this caught Virat by surprise. Seeing her in tears his heart ached, he had to see her smile, it was a necessity, and he needed it more than anything else in the world. He closed the gap between them and wiped her tears with his thumb. "Manvi what happened? Are you in pain? Are you alright?" asked a worried virat.
No words could describe her feelings. His care, concern and love for her made Manvi fall for him harder. He was her life now. Seeing the worry on his face for her made her realize that she too was his life. She had flashbacks of all the times when he was there for her, his worry for her. How could she be so stupid? How had she never noticed his love? His unconditional love? He had never demanded anything from her; he had loved her with all his heart not even expecting her to love him back. She felt guilty and she promised herself to love him as much as he does if not more.
Manvi hugged Virat tightly, her head resting on his chest. "I am sorry Virat. I know that I have hurt you a lot, but I promise you I will never hurt you ever again. I love you Virat more than anything in the world."
