Maanvi started going up the stairs. Her pace was slow for the first few minutes then her pace quickened. It was a natural action. Maanvi to Virat as magnet to metal. Finally she reached the last step.The entire teracce was moonlight making her feel as if it was the most beautiful place in the world.It was strange how a perfect ambience can make you feel like the place that you visit daily has turned into heaven.Perfect ambience and the perfect person.She could feel his presence there.How right these movies are.She'l never scoff at a typical karan johar movie again.She never knew that love was so powerful, the violins that she heard then were real to her.

She could see him pacing back and forth his hands tied to his chest.She couldn't see his face very well but she could imagine it very well.The stubborn expression on his face was sure to make him look, if possible more adorable.The fact that he was hungry was ought to make him more grumpier. Slowly she walked towards him determined to put an end to their fight and make him eat something. As she got nearer to him he stopped automatically as if he felt something.She smirked, realizing that Karan johar had not 1 but 2 new fans in his fanclub.But then he resumed his pacing acting as if he hadn't felt anything.Maanvi frowned.Mission Manaao Virat was not gonna be so easy.

She caught up to him and hugged him from behind putting her arms around his waist.He shrugged her hands off.

Huff'Maanvi blew a strand of her that had fallen on her face and kept her arms on her waist in full war tactic mode.It was time for the puppy dog look, but for that eye contact was necessary. She walked up to him so that she was facing him.His face was a mask of anger and his eyes were bloodshot.His eyes showed hurt,pain and anger.There was also a confusion in them.The worst part was the helplessness.She could feel her eyes fill with tears at seeing him like this but she blinked them back.That was not how Maanvi chaudary operated.

"Viru uncle..mujhse baat nahi karoge?"she said pouting while she slipped her hands around his neck.

"kyun?Rohith se jaake baat karo..I don't want to talk" he said, his eyes on some very lucky spot behind Maanvi

Suddenly a wind blew distracting maanvi.She realized that she had never really enjoyed the beauty of his hair.She enjoyed ruffling it and teasing him about it,saying it looked like a birds nest but the wind caused his hair to blow a few strands falling on his forehead.It was fascinating for her.As if in a trance she raised her hand to touch his hair.

"Maanvi..?"Virat asked momenteraily forgetting his anger, surprised at his girl's sudden vacant and dreamy expression.

She jerked her hand back shocked at what she was about to do.She could feel herself blushing .So, desperately she tried to remember what they were talking about..ya'he..was talking about Rohith.

"Oh really..So shall I go talk to him?"She could feel herself get angry.He himself had seen what had happened.It was Jeevika Di who called him, not her.Didn't he trust her?

"Haan jao.I don't want to hold you up.Aur waise bhi mujhe koi farak nahi padtha.Do whatever you want" His tone was a bit calmer now but it had also gotten colder,emotionless.

How dare he?Maanvi was fuming now.She would show him.Koi farak nahi padtha he na?theek he.. "Fine!Im just gonna go call him right now!"

She had only taken a step forward when an arm grabbed her towards it.Suddenly she found herself in Virat's arms.He had pulled her back.She looked down to see that due to the force of the pull she had kept her palms on his chest and he had his arms around her waist, thus preventing her from moving an inch.She looked up at his face to see it turned away from her signalling that he was still mad at her.

At that moment it hit her what his problem was. Just because of a small prank of her's he had reached rishikesh and confessed in front if her whole family.Oh and dont forget the random other family too.But she had remained quiet. Forget the family, she hadn't even confessed to him in the proper way.

Slowly she moved her hands from his chest to his face and cupped his face within her hands.Slowly he looked down at her showing no expression on his face.

"Im sorry partner"she whispered.His eyes softened as he realized that she really meant it. "I should have talked to Jeevika Di before she brought Rohith in.Really sorry"

"No No Maanvi..I was just being childish..But I think we should talk to Bhabhi about this.We both know that we didn't want to hide anything but she might not think like that."Virat said anger replaced by seriousness.

Maanvi had been thinking the same thing.And it meant a lot to her that Virat cared for her Di as much as she did.She had the perfect life with perfect people.What more could she ask for?She nodded and they stated walking towards the stairs hand in hand.

"And by the way virat.."Maanvi said in a matter of fact tone.

"yea partner" He said, preoccupied.

"I love you" Maanvi said smirking.She was looking at the ground now but could imagine her chep's expression.

He couldn't believe his ears.He was about to express his excitement when he noticed that they were not alone there.His bhabhi was staring at them with a cold expression.He heard Maanvi gasp and realized that she had seen her too.God only knows what all she had heard.

He opened his mouth to say something but Maanvi stopped him by pressing his hand tightly.It was her turn now.Slowly she walked towards her Di and on reaching took jeevika's hand in hers.

"Di..trust me..we wanted to tell you before but.."She said fighting back tears.Her sister's expression was scaring her.A few seconds ago her future promised happiness for her but right now she could almost see all her dreams breaking in front of her.Virat moved closer to her and kept his hand on her shoulder,trying to reassure her that everything will be fine.But he was'nt so sure himself

"I don't approve of your relationship"Jeevika said tonelessly.She took in the horrified expression of her sister and devar and waited a few seconds before she burst out laughing.Her laughter cut through the silence like a knife.All her anger was nearly gone as as followed her sister upstairs but now, after hearin the couple's conversation not a trace was left..Still smiling she looked at the 2 lovebirds before her who were exchanging confused looks.

"Did you two really expect me to react like that?Im Jeevika not Godzilla'And you two are my family.My family who I love more than myself. So naturally I was a bit upset when I found that you two were in love.. and I was the only one who didn't know.

"Par Di.."Maanvi started wiping away the tears of happiness from her eyes.She looked at Virat who was also having trouble controlling his emotions.

"I know I know..you wanted to tell me.And I guess I understand.I'll talk to Viren Ji's family..haan haan Swamini Bua too"She said knowing what Maanvi was thinking once again.after all khoon ka rishtha he beheno ki beech me.

She enveloped the two in a hug.Viren, who had stealthily followed his wife upstairs and heard the entire conversation joined them glad that things were alright at last. The stars twinkled a little more that night, shedding light on four people connected to one another by a single emotion called Love.
