With the sisters reunion, I'm back as well!! So my notes about today's epi:

Stuff I liked

-FINALLY! The sisters in a scene together!
-Beeji and Chacha's behavior towards Virat, telling him he's a part of their household.
-The J-V-D equation. The sibling interaction was cute.
-Viren's peptalk with Virat at the end.
-The first half of Jeevika's speech to Manvi.
-Virat realizing that this is not not time to talk to Manvi.
-Jeevika watching her relatives and her reactions (great emoting!)
-Swamini hugging a tearful Jeevika. (I loved how Jeevika's face was in this scene too. Holding back pain and tears.)
-Car hand hold

Stuff I didn't really like

-I like the idea of the boys staying back and helping out but realistically, bringing the shop back to its former glory takes time. What about Viren's cases? Where will they stay? Jeevika would want to stay in her mayika but that increases the household expenses for an already financially unstable house.
-The transition from concern to lecturing/warning in Jeevika's speach was too abrupt. It started out ok but then she sounded mean in the end (which I don't think that was their intention).
-Where was badi beeji in the family discussion?
-Manvi's words...yeah I know she was making it so Virat left her alone but I didn't like how mean they were. Manvi's character was never the type to talk that way about anyone, it kind felt out of character.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the rest of your responses. 😊

That last scene didn't bode well me from any angle. Not JM or Virman! It left me feeling very cold!
I need a proper Behna scene where they don't effin talk about others!!

Jeevika and Maanvi overall scenes may not have gelled as well as we wanted. But how it is they have such lovely small moments, which are so small that they can easily go unnoticed. A simple tap on the head, at burning down the shop or their hi5 at the expense of Dabbu.

Just wanna say about the whole Jeevika's rant on Virat. Firstly, could it have waited until they shared some pleasant conversation. I haven't gone around the forum, but I can imagine the people criticising her about what she was saying. But in fact, she justified herself today. She is Maanvi sister and it's her responsibly to tell her such things. she can't talk to Virat as he is not her brother she can only make Maanvi aware of the issue.

Oh I did love the small Hi5, head to head hug and even Manvi standing behind Jeevika was a pleasant sight and yes Jeevika didn't say much wrong but I don't know what it was, I wish their first proper meeting after ages wasn't so abrupt. To be honest I don't think we'll be getting a heart to heart talk between the sisters for a while.
LOL surprisingly most people supported J today :P

Really? Well that's good to know. She's not bad at all, she's just worried. Poor FM.

@anumber- I'm just going to pick up on one of your points- Viren, Jeevika and Virat staying in Rishikesh. Realistically, it could never happen. A busy lawyer like Viren would not have the time, to leave all his cases and clients to help his in-laws restart their entire business. Virat however is a different story. In saying that, that thought was not the first thing that rushed into my mind once Viren had uttered his lines. I immediately thought, Jeevika and Maanvi both staying in Rishikesh for the foreseeable future (with their respective partners.) *Silent cheer*

@ ifyaa - Most people in this AT it looks like did not like the episode much so you aren't the only one. I have not seen the episode to give an opinion yet but normally my views are generally the same as Reema, PJ, Anum and most of the other people in this AT so I am sure I would not be satisfied with the episode either.

@ PJ - I love it when all 4 of the leads are together.

The episode wasn't bad. It was nice to see JM and all 4 of them together but yeh something was missing.

Today's episode was okay. I couldn't connect with the sisters at times though. There was something missing, it was all so rushed! I've always supported Jeevika but today I felt that she didn't really convince me about VirMan staying apart, she was a bit demanding. :\ It was weird! But AHHH it felt good to see the sisters in one frame nevertheless!

I don't know about you guys but after a second viewing, I think the "missing" feeling we're all getting here is that the whole episode was patchy. They didn't really stop to allow one emotion to fully show on screen before they moved onto the next scene/plot point/etc. Like when Jeevika saw the adults talking about money, they didn't stop to show her reaction properly. The scene went straight to her trying to talk to Viren. Or when Manvi decides to be mean to Virat, again they didn't really explain her state of mind before. I still wasn't sure if she was mad at him for real or was willing to forgive before Jeevika talked to her. When she started defending her friendship, that got me even more confused. I think they rushed this episode a little to make way for whatever they're planning to bring up next, which is super annoying cus they dragged the cancer reveal like no one's business. I wanted a more touching reunion between Manvi and Jeevika since this is the first time Manvi is seeing her Di after starting chemo. And everyone was too happy when they showed up. Didn't the store burn down the night before? The emotional turnover was way too quick.
