I'm think I'm a bit late to this party. But I'm gonna comment anyway. This show was the first Hindi show I had watched in a long time and the main reason for that was an unique story. Thinking about it is a surprise on my behalf to why I've been here for so long. I normally give up after a while. The main reason is the acting of the cast and it's difference to other shows. I digress. I heard about this new writer and to be fair to them I had no clue who they were, or what they have written. But many have you have stated that they have written for shows such as DMG/MJHT and the problem is that those shows are vastly different to this one. In a nut shell they we're teen shows that explored lust and love in that region. If I take Virat and Maanvi's story. They seemed that they would go down a different path to the one they are currently on. Yesterday's sequence was fine there was nothing technically wrong with it except for the fact it was picturised on Maanvi and Virat. It doesn't go with what they characters are like or how they have been previously portrayed. Butchering (sorry can't think of a better word) characters is often done within serials over time, and I won't comment in the dramatic change in characters personality on this show as that has been discussed at length previously.

Now coming to the main point. (You're probably thinking she chatted on for ages and now she getting to the point) Maanvi cancer. Well does she have cancer is my question? Like Reemz has said, cancer symptoms only appear when they are suited to the writers. Which is a damn pity as it the most awaited moment and story of the entire show. From the beginning it has developed the notion, that these sisters will go through thick and thin and how will that be possible in this society? It was an integral part of the original plot. But somewhere down the line the cries of online viewers has ruined something that was magical. Someone posted somewhere that the writers will show us things that we want to see. If we want to see full on old style romance then they may change the plans and show us that. My argument to that is- they should show us their story. Their vision. Online fans will always want something but it's up to the writers to give them the unexpected, the vision they see for the their characters. The journey they can take then on. Not what fans envision for the show.

PS- everything is my opinion. Sorry about the post being long and please excuse all grammatical errors, as I'm currently replying from my phone once on my laptop I will edit.

Edit - Just thought of something @ the song sequence yesterday. May be this is what Virat is actually like when he's happy and in love? I mean, we know he's the PDA kind from the flashbacks with Maya, plus he's the one who told Viren that he'd imagine his love everywhere, so he obviously does believe that... Just a thought!

I also had the impression that Maya had stolen his music and that was the reason for Virat-Maya break up. But when Maya entered, they showed that she wanted her career. I thought I had understood wrongly. But guess I was right all along...

The CVs arent too good, I guess... They lose the track at times.. That is the reason we see so many people angry at the way things are handled... I would be impossible to please everyone, but atleast they can do justice to the various characters...
